After receiving the location of Leviathan's Foot from Lux, Riel and Seira immediately exit the cave and go to the place already mentioned. They meet again with Keinn who is busy watering the collection of plants on the terrace of his Bar.
"Don't you want to go to Ere?" ask Keinn.
"Right, but before that there's something we have to take care of first, we'll help Lux treat her sister" Riel replied.
Keinn was speechless hearing Riel's reply, his mouth agape, speechless. Keinn knew what kind of Monster they would fight, he doubted Riel and Seira's ability because even some of the adventurers from the Guilds in Ere Kingdom had not been able to successfully fight the Monster, either, and that Quest against Monsters was even a top-tier Quest that had countless rewards.
Keinn awoke from his daydream and then said, "I don't doubt you guys, but coming to challenge the Monster is like suicide."
Riel tilted her head. "What is the Monster?" ask Riel.
"Behemoth, the Devil who rules the land. Behemoths are fearsome creatures that are often referred to in some mythological tales. His own name means ‘something very strong’. He lived in an invisible desert east of the Garden of Eden. It is said that when doomsday comes, the Behemoth figure will appear and fight against the God and his people." said Keinn with a slightly trembling body out of fear.
"Wow! So our opponent this time is a Devil?" said Riel who actually looks more excited after hearing the explanation from Keinn.
"Actually I'm not sure myself, Riel" said Seria who finally raised her voice.
"Lho?" Riel frowned, astonished.
"Devils are not the same creatures as the Monsters we have fought before, they are the third strongest beings after Gods and Angels. Do you know what level humans are on?" ask Seira.
"My mom said that humans are at the lowest level of all creatures" Riel replied. "However, there is one Human who has the power equivalent to the Devil."
"If what you're referring to is Vida the Witch of Hell, she can't be called a Behemoth-level Devil" Keinn said.
Riel scratched her head, not understanding what Keinn was saying.
Keinn continued his explanation, "If you say Satan is in the third tier after God and Angels, you are wrong. The Devil is the strongest Being in the World, the Goddess God you know today is the remnant of the God consciousness He separated from his body before He was defeated by Lucifer. He did not want to make this world fall into the hands of the Devil. Therefore, He created new Gods and Goddesses to maintain the balance of this World and created a barrier that limited the existence of the three Worlds in the Universe. The Celestial Realm, the World filled with God and Angels, is now filled with Gods, Human Realms, the World we live in today, and also Devildoom, or so you might call Hell, or Hell, the abode of the devils."
"That's the real story?" asked Seira who was starting to be as afraid as Keinn.
"Yes, that's the real story." Keinn replied, nodding his head. "Wait here, I want to prepare my gear first."
"Completed?" ask Riel.
"I'm coming with you, I've failed against Behemoth when I wanted to heal my sister, because of that failure My sister lost her life. At least, I want to try to fight it again, so that I can be free from the guilt that continues to haunt my life all this time." replied Keinn who then entered the Bar.
Riel and Seira had been waiting for Keinn for 5 minutes in front of Irina's Bar Terrace, the person they were waiting for finally appeared from behind the door with a slightly rusty old armour and a Katana stuck to his hip, Keinn was already completely prepared to avenge him.
"Follow me!" keinn said as he walked into the backyard of his Bar.
Riel and Seira followed Keinn from behind, they did not know where the big man who was covered in armor in front of them would go. Apparently, Keinn took them to a Horse Stall with two black and white Horses inside, Keinn immediately rode his Black Horse and ordered Riel and Seira to use the white Horse.
"You guys wear that one" Keinn said as he pointed at his White Horse.
Riel just stood still in his place, all this time he only learned martial arts and never rode a Horse at all, it made him not know what to do. Fortunately Seira has more adventurous experience than Riel, He immediately rides the Horse when He realizes that Riel cannot ride the Horse.
"Next time I will teach you how to ride" Seira said as she extended her hand to Riel from above her Horse.
Riel turned his face away, He was embarrassed to admit that Seira was more reliable than him in some ways, in fact it was only natural because Seira had been adventurous before Riel. Finally, Riel reached Seira's helping hand and sat behind her, Keinn immediately ordered his Black Horse to walk away from Irina's Bar and go towards the Behemoth's residence. Not wanting to miss, Seira also spurred her Horse as fast as possible, chasing after Keinn who had left first.
They walked straight eastward, towards the invisible Desert, where Behemoth founded his Palace. No conversation goes on as long as they drive their horses, they are haunted by the horror that awaits them at the end of the Horizon. The sound of their horseshoe linking to each other was accompanied by the chirping of birds flying over the blue sky, making Riel unable to resist talking anymore.
"Seira, can you push the horse faster? There's something I want to ask Keinn" Riel said from behind Seira's back.
"As your request, sir." Seira spurred his horse faster so they walked parallel to Keinn.
"What's wrong?" keinn asked, looking towards Riel and Seira.
"You had a chance to talk about Guilds, what was that?" reply Riel.
"Hmm" Keinn frowned, looking for the right words to answer Riel's question. "Guild is an Organization of Adventurers from all over the Kingdom of Ere. They ran various kinds of Quests given by Guilds to earn rewards in the form of gold and other valuable items, actually not only Adventurers from Ere could join the Guild, but also the Guild, you can also join if you want. The Guild is in the Capital, so you must go there first if you wish to join."
Riel smiled widely when she heard Keinn's explanation, especially when she heard the rewards of gold and others. Seira who already knew what Riel was thinking could only shake her head, unable to resist Riel's decision.
"Very!" riel replied while brandishing her fist into the air.
"If you can tell, where did you come from?" ask Keinn while slowing down the pace of his Horse.
Riel fell silent for a moment, afraid that Keinn would turn away from him if He had known that Riel was from the Shappire Kingdom, which even today bears the title of the son of the new King in the Kingdom. Keinn who saw Riel's stiff face became wondering in his heart, what was wrong with his question just now?
"I can't mention it, Keinn." replied Riel, as if losing her spirit.
Keinn sighed, He said, "I don't care that even if you're from Shappire, that conflict only applies to Nobles, Bar Owners like me this have nothing to do with it."
Riel gasped at Keinn's words, which continued with a very loud laugh, thinking that Keinn could read his mind, though Keinn had no idea that Riel was really from Shappire.
"really?" riel asked in a soft voice.
"Huh?" Keinn clung his palm behind his earlobe, intending that he could hear Riel's answer more clearly.
"Do you really care if I'm from Shappire?" riel asked again, this time in a slightly louder voice.
"Well! Though I didn't intend to guess" Keinn chuckled. "Well, like I said, I don't care if you're from Shappire. But, the Guild won't accept you if you're honest about where you come from, you'll become the 'Main Menu' for Adventurers. After all, right now we are a Team that will defeat the Behemoth of the Landlord."
Riel felt relieved after hearing Keinn's reply. However, Keinn suddenly stopped his Horse, stopping in front of an enormous Oak Tree with iron chains wrapped around each branch of the tree. Keinn then descended from his Black Horse and tied the animal's neck to a large branch that crept until it almost touched the ground.
"We have arrived" said Keinn.
"Until?" ask Seira who just got off her horse.
"Yes, from here I will open the Portal to the invisible Desert and after that we only need to walk for a while to get to Behemoth Palace." keinn replied as he rubbed the trunk of the Oak Tree in front of him.
"Do you know any other name for the Kingdom of Ere besides the Land of the Wind?" Keinn turned his body and looked at the two Teens who were standing behind him.
Riel and Seira just shook their heads, not knowing the answer to the question Keinn had given them.
"In addition to being known as the Land of the Wind, Ere is also known as the Land of the Condemned. Because besides Sourozenec, there are still other curses that even today still apply in the Kingdom of Ere, this Oak Tree bears witness to the first curse that existed in the Kingdom of Ere." Keinn started telling stories.
"In ancient times, during the reign of the first King of Tanderia, this area was still under the rule of the Kingdom of Ere. At that time His Majesty was visiting a village near here, although now the Village has been abandoned because all residents moved to the City near the border. His Majesty came to the Village with a group of Nobles families riding the Horse Stroller, when they arrived in front of this Tree, the, there was a Beggar who flicked their Horse Stroller to ask for some coins for him to buy food. Then, roughly a coachman drove the Beggar away by kicking him until he fell and hit his head against the trunk of this Oak Tree..."
"...Not accepting what the coachman had done, the Beggar condemned them all for their treatment of him, He said that every time this branch of the Oak Tree fell to the ground, it fell to the ground, someone from their family will die. However, the Royal retinue did not care about the Beggar just now, they continued their journey just like that. Until nightfall, a rainstorm hit the village, the roar of lightning above the clouds made the atmosphere more tense. The King who was resting in his room was shocked by a lightning light that struck this Oak Tree, the lightning struck one of the branches of this Oak Tree and broke it and fell to the ground..."
"...Remembering the Beggar's words, the King came out of his room and went to check on the Nobles' families. He was completely startled when he arrived at the Room of Nobles, one of the Nobles in the Room died in an unusual way, his body suddenly cut into pieces, his eyes kept glaring and could not be closed again in any way. Finally, The King ordered his Soldiers to tie this branch of the Oak Tree with this large chain so that no more branches fall and make other Nobles die in such an unusual way. And the reason why the Beggar's words had become a curse was because Behemoth heard his words from behind the Secret Gate that was on this Oak Tree."
"And after that incident, many other curses appeared in the Kingdom of E?" riel asked with an expression on her face that was so tense.
"True, it's all because of Behemoth, the Devil that's behind this gate." Keinn replied.
Keinn rubbed the trunk of the Oak Tree from top to bottom, and then a gate appeared that slowly became visible in the eyes of Riel and Seira. Keinn took a deep breath, then cast a spell that Riel and Seira had never heard of at all.
"Hapur de poorten!" Keinn pressed down on the tree trunk and managed to open a gate that became the only way to the invisible Desert.
From behind the Gate, they could see a desert so vast, with a very dark sky like a moonless night. Keinn glanced at Riel and Seira, their faces both looking extremely frightened with gazes fixed on the territory of a mainland Demon lord.
"You're not going to undo your intention to come here, are you?" keinn asked, doubting the two of them.
Riel gulped, trying to gather up the spirit and courage that had shattered when he saw what was behind the gate in front of his eyes.
"I'm ready." replied Riel.
Keinn glanced at Seira, intending to ask the same thing as he had asked Riel just now.
"Me too." replied Seira, a little hesitant.
Keinn smiled smugly at the answers of the two Young Adventurers who became his first Customers today. They finally walked through the Gate and managed to set foot in the invisible Desert.
