Riel and Seira spend the night in a secret library in the ruins of Aramas. Seira keeps her mouth shut since Miki's departure, her heart still aches accepting the fact that she has to lose someone she knows again before her eyes. Despite only meeting Miki for a few hours, Seira already considers Miki like her own sister. It was very difficult for him to accept the fact that Miki was actually a Spirit to be saved and could not stay in the mortal world forever.
"Sheira?" asked Riel who was lying on a pile of old books.
There was no reply from Seira, her lips were completely locked tightly, not making the slightest sound. Riel sighed then got up from where she lay and walked over to Seira.
"I have a good son" said Riel.
"Hmm." muttered Seira.
"She must be very happy to have met her family at this time. Do you think he's gonna tell his family about us?" riel asked who was trying to comfort Seira.
"Either." replied Seira coldly.
"Well, I miss Theresa." Riel sat down beside Seira.
"Your sister?" ask Seira.
"Yes, right. I'm the first child in my family, my sister is so cute" Riel said proudly.
"If your sister is really cute, why is your face so ugly?" Seira smiled faintly.
"At least I'm not a half-fowl creature." Riel stuck out her tongue as she softened Seira.
"How dare you"
Riel pinched Seira's cheek before she finished her sentence.
"It looks like your mood has improved, I'm back there, huh?" riel said as she prepared to stand up, but Seira pulled up her sleeve.
"Eh?" Riel looked at Seira not understanding.
"Don't go far" said Seira, lowering her face.
"Well, I'll sleep here." Riel sat down next to Seira.
The atmosphere became quiet for a few minutes. None of them spoke.
The night is getting late, unknowingly Riel is already asleep in his sleep and leaves Seira who is still awake alone. Seira stared at Riel's plain face carefully, her finger gently stroking the gray hair of the slumbering young man beside her.
"You are so close, yet so far away" said Seira lirih.
Seira clasped Riel's hand, her warmth making Seira's eyes slowly lose their strength to stay awake. Seira finally fell asleep and rested her completely exhausted heart and body.
The morning had arrived, no sunlight had entered the library because the place was underground, making Riel and Seira wake up later than usual.
Riel slowly opened her eyes, her beautiful dreams interrupted the sound of melodious singing that came out of nowhere. Seira, who was still asleep beside Riel, did not seem to hear the singing that echoed in Riel's ears, and decided to go to find the source of the song alone without waking Seira from her sleep.
Riel had already come out of the library, the song was getting clearer and clearer in Riel's ears. The young man continued to follow the direction of the coming chant straight west from the ruins of Aramas.
"Hey, is anyone there?!" riel exclaimed as she continued walking straight.
Riel had walked for about 10 minutes and now in front of him there were a few trees lined neatly wrapped with bushes that made it look like the border of an area. Faintly Riel heard the sound of river currents behind the bushes in front of her, the sound of singing seemed to be heard from behind the bush.
"Is that an angel in the bath?" mumbling Riel.
Riel finally ventured to continue walking until finally he was made speechless by the scenery in front of him at this time.
A river that had a width of about 8 meters was filled with clear water, and the little rocks were now spoiling Riel's eyes, he was really amazed by the natural beauty that he had seen for the first time in his life.
As his eyes were busy glancing back and forth as he walked along the river, his gaze was fixed on the back of a girl sitting sweetly on a large rock on the edge of the river.
"Eh?!" Riel reflex is hiding behind the bushes.
The girl realized Riel's whereabouts and immediately looked back, where Riel was standing before finally hiding behind a bush.
"Something seems to have been there." Mumbled the girl who then looked back at the flow of water while humming melodiously.
The girl had long black hair that was unraveled covering part of her back, her beautiful face was sculpted clearly in Riel's memory. Like no burden in her life, the girl leisurely sat on a rock as if this world belonged to only one.
"The voice is really melodious, not inferior to her beautiful face" said Riel who slowly stepped her legs closer to the girl unconsciously.
"Come here, Adventurer" said the girl as if knowing that Riel was approaching her.
Riel's face flushed instantly, he felt bad because it had disrupted the girl's alone time.
"It's okay, come here!" say the girl again.
Riel was hypnotized in the girl's singing, her feet stepping by themselves toward the big rock where the girl was sitting alone.
"You're quite handsome, yes." praised the girl after Riel sat beside her.
"You're also very pretty." replied Riel.
"Ah, don't praise me like that." The girl blushed in embarrassment at Riel's reply.
"I'm Jane, you?" jane asked while tilting her head.
"Riel." replied Riel briefly.
"It seems like you're lacking rest, huh? Have you been up all night?" jane asked while holding Riel's forehead.
"Emm.. no.." replied Riel awkwardly.
"Shh." Jane placed her index finger on the tip of Riel's lips, telling her to stop talking.
"Sleep on my lap" Jane said, patting her on the thigh.
Again Riel obeyed Jane's orders unconsciously, now her head was on Jane's lap and slowly Jane began to sing her song again, making Riel slowly dissolved in her subconscious.
Behold, the birds fly freely.
The sheep are running happily
Humans hunt with their selfishness.
Is there a place for him to get a reply?
Can anyone judge him?
He slowly killed the World.
With rampant cruelty.
Hear this song.
Dissolve into the dream.
Enjoy heavenly scrumptious pieces.
Until your death comes near.
Riel was already fast asleep when Jane finished her singing, her body actually feeling an incredible comfort in Jane's lap. Gently Jane's fingers combed through strands after strands of gray hair Riel that made the Young Adventurer even further away in his subconscious.
Meanwhile, Seira who had awoken from her sleep continued to search for Riel around the tomb until the ruins of Aramas. But he could not find Riel anywhere.
"You're not leaving me, are you, Riel?" said Seira moody.
In her daydream, Seira vaguely hears Jane singing. Seira followed the source of the voice as Riel had done before.
"It's the singing of a Siren, hopefully Riel isn't caught up in his hypnosis." Seira muttered.
Just as he finished hoping, his eyes were now fixed on a girl who was dragging Riel into the calm flowing river before him.
"RIEL!" Seira runs up to Jane but unfortunately quickly Jane gets into the water and takes Riel with her.
Not yet exhausted the sadness that Seira got when he lost Miki, this time he had to receive such a deep wound because for the umpteenth time he had to lose the person he cared about directly in front of his eyes.
His life was completely chaotic now, there was nothing else he could do but stare at the deep, dark riverbed. While calling out Riel's name, unceasing tears trickled down and flowed down Seira's cheeks. Hoping that his voice would be heard by Riel and make her return to him.
"Your voice won't get down there, Elf." Suddenly a woman who had come from nowhere was standing next to Seira who was being hit mentally.
"Man, huh? If you want to kill me, kill me! I have no other reason to live." said Seira resignedly.
"The Siren is a creature that seduces men with its melodious singing and harp quotes. In some stories it is told that the Sirens once thwarted the war between kingdoms that occurred in the Sea of Adoleshene because the two camps were tempted by the beauty of the Sirens and instead became a massive feast for the people Siren." said the woman.
Seira did not respond to the woman's explanation and continued to stare silently at the bottom of the river. His heart was broken, his eyes were bruised as he continued to shed tears that were unceasingly rushing down his thin cheeks, Seira could only hope that good luck would accompany Riel down there.
"Do you know?" ask the woman next to Seira. "It is not only Sirens that can lure humans with their singing, humans can do the same to Sirens."
There was no reply from Seira, he completely ignored the woman clad in blood-red clothes beside him. The woman just sighed, trying to understand Seira's reaction which could be said to be very disrespectful if only the situation was not like this.
The woman closed her eyes and began to hum, her voice not as bright as the Sirens' singing, but as she began to sing her first verse, the stream before them began to fall apart, The woman managed to lure the Sirens out of hiding.
One, two, followed by the other half-fish girls also sprung from the bottom of the river to the surface. They were amazed to hear the singing of a Mysterious Woman who was singing gracefully beside Seira. Seira's heart began to merge again after hearing the beautiful song of the Woman, she finally turned her face. How surprised Seira was to see the Woman beside her who turned out to be the number one Witch in the World.
"The Witch of Hell?!" seira said with her perfectly rounded bruised eyes, fixated on seeing the beauty of a Witch who had just finished her song.
"Look!" the Witch's Word. "They've shown themselves, what will you do after this? Kill them all and save your friends, or negotiate with them so your friends can be released without bloodshed?"
The Witch's question keeps Seira's mouth locked, she doesn't know what to do. He thought, how could he possibly negotiate peacefully to free Riel, but Seira was also hesitant to fight the dozens of Sirens who were still hypnotized by the Witch's singing.
The Witch smiled faintly at Seira who was unable to answer her question, she finally decided to walk up to one of the Sirens closest to the River Edge.
"You Sirens are so beautiful, any man would be tempted by your beautiful face, but do you know? killing people with your singing is an evil act, you know." said the Witch.
The siren replied "But, it has been our destiny to do so, we were bestowed this ability by the God not without cause, right?"
"But you have to see which people you deserve to kill and which ones are inappropriate. Killing innocent people will make you look like a Monster rather than a Waters Guard, do you realize that other living things consider you Monsters all along?" ask the Witch.
The Siren fell silent, as did Seira who did not expect that the Magician was actually negotiating with the Half-Fish Girl in front of him.
"What's your name, Siren? You all have names, don't you?" ask the Witch.
"Karen." The answer.
"Well, Karen, this time I want to ask you to release someone your friend just brought to the bottom of the river, he's not a bad person, so you have no right to kill him" said the Witch, smiling friendly.
Karen nodded, then disappeared to the bottom of the river to pick up Riel who had just been captured by her friend. Soon, Karen returns to the surface with Riel, who is still asleep in her dreams.
"I apologize for my friend's insolence, this man is not dead, he is only affected by Jane's singing and is trapped in a beautiful dream that prevents him from waking up from his sleep." karen said while putting Riel's body in front of the Witch.
"Lantas, how do you wake her, Karen?" asked the Witch, frowning.
"Nightmare, only a nightmare is capable of waking a person affected by the singing of a Siren. But, I'm sorry, I can't give him a nightmare, this man has to get his own dream. However, you can give him some suggestions to his subconscious, that suggestion will build a new dream in his subconscious and make him want to quickly wake up from his sleep." The siren explains how to wake Riel up to the Witch.
"All right, I get it. Thank you for being so kind as to bring our friend back" said the Witch, accompanied by her heartwarming smile.
"No, no, we're the ones who should thank you for being allowed to hear a very beautiful song that we've heard all our lives." Karen replied, bowing her head in respect.
The Witch replied with a smile, the Sirens returned to their lair at the Bottom of the River and left the three of them on the Mainland.
"Not everything has to be solved with bloodshed, Elf" said the Witch. "I leave it to you."
A golden yellow light appeared around the body of the Witch, followed by a flash of light that made Seira unable to see for a moment then the Witch disappeared without a trace, leaving Seira with Riel both at the Riverbank.
"Wake up, Riel!"
