Fate Breakers
Identities

After finishing their business with the Village Chief, Riel and Seira returned to their inn at the Vandkilder Inn. Sil welcomed them with a flowery heart as he was finally able to return to his normal work.

"You're back." Sil ran out to greet the two heroes who restored the glory of his homeland.

"I ordered 3 glasses of cold water complete with the most expensive food you sell." Though I still want to eat the fucking Harpy's meat." Riel said while embracing Sil and Seira.

"I really didn't expect you to save our village." Sil said as he let go of Riel's hand that was embracing him, then hugged the two new friends together.

"Ah, it's nothing Sil. Most importantly let's celebrate our victory tonight." Seira replied while replying to Sil's embrace.

"Order will be ready soon. Please choose the seat you like." Sil smiled warmly while bowing his body, posing as a servant in the kingdom.

They laughed together then walked towards their respective goals. Seira and Riel head to their seats and Sil heads to the kitchen to make food.

"By the way, Riel. Our identities are already scattered as fugitives of the Sapphire kingdom. How's next?" Seira asked a little whispering.

"Huh?! You know where you're from?" Riel asked slightly in disbelief.

"When you passed out, almost all the people came to the hill. Then I heard a villager say we're Sapphire fugitives. I ran out of energy and fainted at that time. I thought I'd open my eyes in prison, but it turns out they appreciate our work." Seira explained it to Riel.

"Then how?" Ask Riel.

"That black scarf of yours, that's what's your trademark. Black-shawed adventurer." Seira replied while pointing towards the scarf that was coiled around Riel's neck.

"I'm not gonna throw this scarf away. It makes me always remember what they did to me that night. This scarf also reminds me of my greatest sin." Said Riel while rubbing her scarf.

"sin?" Tanya Seira was curious.

"Kill people." Answer Riel flat.

Seira was silent at Riel's reply. He does not believe that the person who saved his life ever took the life of a person.

"People?" Seira asked breaking the silence.

"Yes, man." Riel answered briefly.

"Your hints aren't funny, Riel." Seira hits Riel's arm slowly.

"I'm not kidding anyway. I didn't kill him for no reason. Should I tell you the details?" Riel looked at Seira with a cold look.

"Order is coming!" Sil exclaimed from the kitchen door with his hands filled with food and drinks attached to his iron tray.

"Finally! I'm so hungry!" Riel's expression changed instantly.

Seira looked at Riel who was busy eating her food. He still could not believe this man beside him was a murderer. But, he did not immediately consider Riel a bad person. He believed that Riel must have had a reason for his actions.

"Hey, Seira! Eat fast or you won't be able to sleep well." Riel said with her mouth filled with food.

"Ah, yes." Seira realized from her daydream and saw Sil who was smiling jail in front of her.

"It's not what you think, Sil." Seira's face flushed.

"The youth is beautiful." Sil smiled seductively at Seira.

"Young time? How old are you?" Tanya Seira was curious.

"36." Answer the petite woman with her long red hair.

"GSTOP!" Riel spouted out a bit of her food so shocked.

"You? Is that true?!" Riel said after swallowing the remaining food in her mouth.

"Well, my family does have this posture. No wonder I'm just like them." Answer Sil.

"Here you go, don't mind my body shape. You enjoy your food and don't forget to rest." Sil leaves Riel and Seira at his desk.

After expanding their stomachs, the two teenagers did not immediately go to his room. They talked a little about where they would continue their journey tomorrow.

"Where's our next goal, Seira?" Riel said as she stroked her already fully filled stomach.

"Hm... If not wrong there are about 3 villages that we have to pass before reaching the Kingdom of Ere. And to get out of the borders of the Kingdom of Ere, we still have to pass through many cities and villages again. Are you tired?" Seira asked after explaining the details of their trip.

"No. Just making sure." Answer Riel.

"Do you want to sleep now? I want to go to the room." Seira got up from her seat.

"Well, maybe faster is better." Replied Riel who was now standing beside Seira.

"Thank you for the meal, Sil. Good night." Riel said as she waved her hand towards Sil.

"Have a good time." Sil Reply.

Seira who heard Sil's words immediately choked on her own saliva was so surprised. However, Riel ignored him and continued walking up the stairs one by one.

"Good night, Seira." Said Riel who had already laid her body on the bed.

"Good Night, Riel." Answer Seira.

The sunlight that entered through the large window in Riel's room woke the man from his sleep. Slowly Riel opened her eyes and saw the silhouette of a girl so beautiful was looking at her.

"Good morning, Riel." Riel's gaze improved until finally the silhouette turned into a figure that made Riel swallow.

"Who are you?" Riel looked at a man with a long and thick beard before her.

"Where is he?!" Riel started to put up a standby position.

The bearded man smiled cunningly and walked up to Riel slowly. Riel did not want to damage Sil's lodging facilities. However, it seems like this has to be done. Because Seira is the pay.

"Give him back!" Riel Excited.

The man simply raised his eyebrows and ignored Riel's words.

"Don't take Seira!"

"I kemba"

Riel lunged at the bearded man along with Seira coming from behind the door. Riel, who heard Seira's voice, fell just as her fist was right in front of the man.

"Sheira?" Riel looked back and saw her elf girl standing with a reddened face and hands filled with baskets filled with food.

"I thought that guy ate you." Riel ignored the man and ran towards Seira.

Riel hugged Seira tightly until the fruits she brought fell to the floor. Of course his face was completely flushed at this moment.

"Ri-riel?" Said Seira who really did not know what to do.

"That guy!" Riel turned her body and went back to face the bearded man.

"Emmm... Riel. He's a sword in this village." Whisper Seira when Riel has put up his horse.

"Eh?!" Riel was surprised.

"Haha. Young people are always ready." Said the man while stroking his long, whitened beard.

"Sorry." Riel bent her body.

"It doesn't need to be like that. Miss Seira, are you satisfied?" The man asked that made Riel confused.

"Yes, very." Seira replied with a sweet smile.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING WITH SEIRA, BAARD?!" Sil who had just reached the second floor heard their words and started thinking everywhere.

"Save your perverted brain first, Midget. Miss Seira asked me to pretend to have harmed her so she could see Mr. Riel's reaction when she found out Miss Seira was gone." Baard replied in self-defense.

"Why did you say it, you idiot!" Seira drops her fruit basket and runs away leaving them all behind.

"Look!" Riel immediately jumped out through the window and chased after Seira.

Meanwhile, Riel was still continuing to chase after Seira who was running towards the trading center. The village is starting to improve. Although the clothes these residents were wearing were still very dirty, Riel could see the laundry of the citizens hanging everywhere. There was happiness behind their faces. There were no more hopeful gazes, fake smiles behind the pain they were suffering, or moody faces thinking when it would all end.

"Actie." Riel cast her magic and managed to grasp Seira's hand from a distance.

Riel also approached Seira who could not move where she stood. The Elf girl turned her face away from Riel.

"Why did you just run away?" Riel asked who was now grasping Seira with her own hands.

"Bu-not that I want to be considered important by you. That's. that's..." Reply Seira stammered.

"You're my most valuable partner, you idiot." Reply Riel while pinching Seira's cheek.

"Ah, you're right. Partners." Seira tried to smile as much as possible.

"Hmm?" Riel raised next to her eyebrows.

"It's okay. I want to look around the market." Reply Seira while stepping her legs. However, he did not realize that Riel was still holding his hand.

They walked hand in hand all the way. In such a crowded market, all the merchants called their names and gave away some of their merchandise from starting food, drinks, weapons, armor and so on. What the Village Chief said turned out to be true. All the merchants in the village gave their wares for free to Riel and Seira. And also the items they give are the nicest items they sell in their stores.

After getting everything they needed on their next trip, Riel and Seira immediately returned to the inn.

"Oh yes! Baard's a clothes salesman at the shop down there. I've ordered some clothes for us. Looks like he put it in the closet." Said Seira while eating the confectionery he got in the market earlier.

"dress? I didn't think about buying clothes before. I always wash these clothes and wait for them to dry so I can wear them again." Reply Riel while drinking sugarcane juice with a large portion that he got for free from his merchant.

Seira who disliked the sugarcane drink was astonished to see Riel. Maybe he likes drinks with a strange sweet taste like that.

"You like it?" Seira asked while looking at the turbid liquid that was in the large glass that Riel was holding.

"Likes what?" Riel asked back.

"That drink, you like it?" Ask Seira again.

"Yeah... It tastes pretty good. But I think it would be better to drink in cold conditions. But they don't have ice cubes in the shop." Answer Riel glumly.

"You need ice cubes?" Ask Seira.

Riel nodded her head then gulped back her drink.

"Fab it." Seira snatches Riel's glass.

"Blind." Seira cast a spell and several pieces of ice cubes came out of his hands.

Seira handed the large glass to the owner who was speechless to see magic used for such a thing.

"I just found out there's magic like that." Riel was amazed.

"Seriously? That's basic magic tofu." Seira replied disappointed.

"Seriously. Because I didn't learn anything about magic." Reply Riel who has now gulped down her drink.

"I want to know who you really are." Seira said as they reached the door of the Vandkilder Inn.

"Ehem..." Sil who saw the two of them join hands just immediately teased Seira with his jaily smile.

Seira looked at Sil in confusion and then realized that Riel always held her hand as long as they went around the market.

"Let go!" Seira pulled out her hand, releasing it from Riel's grasp.

"Silent. You can't run away anymore." Riel pulled back Seira's hand and grasped it tighter.

"It is precisely you who makes me want to run away because it keeps holding my hand while Sil is smiling while thinking strange things about us." Seira Protest.

"Sil, what are you thinking?" Riel asked who was still holding Seira's hand.

"I thought about you holding Seira's hand so she wouldn't run away." Sil is lying.

"You hear? He thought about what I was thinking." Riel said to Seira who had resigned.

"Basic, Big Aunt!" Ledek Seira is upset.

Riel took Seira up to her room. On top of their mattress there are already 4 new clothes neatly stacked. Riel gets 4 Black, Maron, Grey and White clothes. Seira gets the color Brown, Navy, Army and Black.

All of their new outfits have the same models as the ones they use today. It was just that Riel's new clothes had a hood attached directly to her clothes. So he could hide the black scarf that became his trademark for the sake of protecting his identity.

After finishing tidying up their belongings, Riel and Seira alternately went to the bathroom and changed their clothes with the new clothes they got from Baard.

"You fit in perfectly with that, Seira." Riel said after being allowed into the room by Seira who was changing her clothes.

"Eh? You too." Reply to Seira while turning her face away.

"Why do you always turn your face away when I talk to you?" Riel pinched Seira's cheek and made the girl's face face to face with her.

"Ka-ka-because..." Seira's face was completely flushed now. He was very embarrassed to see Riel's face from such a close distance.

"Hmm?" Riel urged Seira to finish her words immediately.

"I like you."

Not yet had Riel heard clearly Seira's answer, Seira's magic-covered fist hit Riel's lower jaw which made her instantly fall unconscious.

"I hope you don't hear it. Shrimi." Seira used her healing magic.

Riel slowly opened her eyes and saw Seira holding her head on her thigh.

"What's going on?" Riel asked while trying to get up.

"You slipped and your head hit the wall and fainted." Seira replied lying.

"It seems I'm too excited to continue on my next journey." Reply Riel who was already standing straight beside Seira.

"I want to make sure of something. Riel, what's the last thing you remember before fainting?" Seira asked with a serious look.

"You're telling me to come out because you want to change your clothes?" Riel replied while remembering as she could.

"Really! There seems to be no disturbance in your brain. Let's go!" Seira first went down the stairs and found Sil to say goodbye.

Seira can see Sil with his gloomy face who is silent staring at the front door of his bar.

"Hey, Auntie Flirt. Thanks for everything." Said Seira while hugging Sil.

"Ah, you guys want to go?" Sil asked with his eyes beginning to glaze over.

"Our goal is still very far away, Sil. So we shouldn't waste much of our time stopping somewhere." Seira replied as she flashed her warm smile.

"Next time, yeah. The Vandkilder Inn will always be open to you both." Sil could not help but hold back his cries and hugged Seira tightly.

Sil escorted them to the front of the inn. The woman still sobbed even though her tears had stopped flowing from her eyes.

"Then we say yes, Sil." Seira.

"I will always miss you." Sil smiled back at the two of them.

Riel and Seira return to walk on their journey with a new burning spirit. From a distance, Sil's voice shouts Seira's name.

"HEIRA! HOPEFULLY, YES!!!"

Seira only endured her embarrassment while Riel did not understand what Sil meant.

"Basic." Said Seira who looked back ahead.
