Distance to Heart

While running pounding my heart also, no longer know how much water flows from both corners of these eyes? I even feel like I'm running. However, the feet do not touch the earth. People arrive before I make a crowd.

They want to help the boy who was immediately covered in blood because he was hit by a motorcycle that passed very fast. And this heart rhythm was pounding even more strongly when it approached the scene of the crime and I saw the boy who was sprawled was right. Yes, my guess is, she is Razka Fadillah my beloved son.

Lemas already this body as if there is no power. Seeing how the small body was covered in red liquid coming from inside his body was being carried people into a car. Who does it belong to and where does the good guy come from? My head suddenly felt aching, a blurry vision and then slowly blackened. Instantly this body collapsed at the scene as well.

And now I began to wake up, slowly opening my eyes, initially blurring. But slowly it seemed clear and bright. I saw the whole room look all white and clean. Suddenly my hand felt a little bit. Apparently there is a hose that stuck on the back of my left hand. Seeing that, I became reminded of the condition of my son Razka.

How's she? Is she okay? Or maybe him? No, this can't happen. I'm his mother, I know who my son is. Since I was inside my womb, she was so strong and healthy. He's a good boy and doesn't want to trouble me, his mother. So that I also took the initiative to wake this body to be able to pull out the infusion hose that stuck on the back of my left hand in order to find existence. But it has not been done someone suddenly heard the sound of knocking on the door of this hospital room.

My gaze instantly turned towards the door, and a person in a black suit appeared.

"Kanaya!" his screams from looking at my position and blood flow suddenly appeared from within the hose.

I was relaxed and considered it normal and I wanted to continue what I wanted to do. However, Andra hurriedly prevented me. Then he hugged my body. I don't know why, when Andra hugged me. My heart just felt more and more messed up. Is my feeling right, if Razka's situation isn't in all right?

"Take me off, Ndra. I want to see Razka. I wanna see how he's doing?"

"You're here, honey. You yourself are weak. Remember that there is also our child in your body. So, you should take care of her, too,"

"Let Razka, I take care of her. Even if he's still -,"

"He's still what, Ndra? He's not why, is he? Quickly say, Ndra,"

"Razka's been treated well by the best doctors in the hospital, but she's still in intensive care. In the ICU room, and I'm planning on moving Razka to a bigger hospital in Jakarta as soon as possible,"

Flowing these tears instantly fell on the cheeks. I can't contain the flow anymore. The same ugly shadow haunts my mind about my son.

"What does that mean, Razka?"

Andra then squatted to align her body with my sitting position on the bed. He then, gently rubbing every running water down my cheek.

"We keep praying, baby. I hope nothing happens to our child. Pray for him to be a strong child in the face of this critical time,"

I nodded while continuing to cry. Once again my husband hugged me while kissing my forehead and then gently rubbed my head so that I felt calmer.

An hour later, Papa, Mama, and my sister came to visit me in the nursery. Before they rushed to help Andra to take care of the transfer of Razka care from regional hospitals to larger and complete hospitals in Jakarta

After giving encouragement shortly afterwards, Papa and Mama followed Andra to the ICU room to see how the health condition of her beloved granddaughter while only Kamila was still faithfully accompanying me in the inpatient room.

Evening to night, after all the hospital administration was declared in order to be finished and Razka's condition was able to travel by ambulance. Andra, me, and my family are getting ready to take her to the hospital where I also work. Citra Keluarga Medika Hospital in Jakarta.

Moreover, the plan is Doctor Chandra Bara Abhimanyu the owner and director of the hospital who will be the chairman of the medical problem handling team for Razka. I am also a doctor in this hospital. Obviously I know how credible Doctor Chandra Bara Abhimanyu is. I believe in his hands Razka's condition will gradually improve and will recover as usual.

In the ambulance were five people. There was a driver in front driving this vehicle while behind there were two medics, me and of course Razka who was lying quietly unconscious with a breathing apparatus that continues to be monitored until arriving at the intended hospital. Actually Andra asked me to accompany him in the car he was driving.

However, with a heavy heart I refused because I wanted to be with Razka. I was in the hospital before. I haven't seen the situation and now when I'm in the ambulance I'll take care of him and I won't leave him. The heart of the mother who is not broken sees her child in such a state of observation. It was sad to see my flesh blood helpless, struggling to stay alive. If only this situation could be exchanged. Let me feel the pain, not my son.

Let him come back as he was. He was too small to feel that kind of pain. Razka must grow up to be a healthy, smart, and useful child in her life. Just like what you and I expected of her. I myself am trying to be strong, so that my son is strong. So that he returns to consciousness and heals as I expected. But still these tears flowed.

It's so hard for me to hold him back. Especially when remembering the incident that happened last afternoon with my own two eyes. I saw that fateful incident. The trauma and fear is now upon me. Moreover, until this moment Razka has not been the only casualty after being the sole victim of this traffic accident. The heart of the mother who will not be shocked to see her favorite child was hit by a motorbike that passed at high speed then immediately made him unconscious until this moment.

At the hospital we went to, razka was immediately taken to the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) to get intensive and maximum care from medical personnel and this was led directly by Doctor Chandra Bara Abimanyu. Waiting for news of Razka's condition. In the waiting room, my husband and I just sat there and prayed that Razka would be transferred to this hospital.

Andra with eyes that are no less sweet then hugged me while sitting as if giving strength and comfort to me. andra and I bowed to each other and did not forget to say a sentence of prayer and remembrance for our child who was struggling in the intensive room. A few minutes later, two loaves of bread were thrown in front of me. My eyes slowly rose to the top to see who was the one who did that?

"Mama,"

"You two haven't eaten since lunch. Especially you, remember in your stomach now there is also another child. You have to eat!" abugn.

"How's my son Mas Chandra doing?" andra asked as soon as she saw Doctor Chandra coming out of the PICU room.

"Razka still has to go through her critical period. So the members of this medical team within twenty-four hours must continue to monitor their condition. Can't be off guard,"

"So what should we do, Doc?"

"Let's just calm down Doctor Kanaya. You don't have to panic let us just monitor him. While you two go home. Than here,"

"But I don't want to go home, Mom. I want to be here, I also want to monitor my son's condition" Andra said.

"Me too, I want to be here" I said.

"But this is not good for you, Doctor Kanaya," said Dr. Chandra.

"No need to worry, Papa has booked a nursing room close from here so that if there is anything with Razka. You can go straight to this place, but Papa, Mama, and Kamila want to go home. Tomorrow the three of us will be back here again,"

That advice Papa said, we both follow. Andra and I stayed in the VIP room on the fifth floor. Upon arrival in the room I only realized that there was something that was left behind and I really realized when I saw Andra was busy playing his cellphone.

"Oh, yes. Where's the phone and the bag I brought this afternoon? Do you want to be left in the market?" muttered.

Seriate...
