Maira opened her eyes slowly. It felt so heavy, but his body was already so sore now.
Maira looked at the room where she was. The room is all white, but not the treatment room as in general. Like he knew this room.
"You're up, baby" said Danar, who just walked into his room.
Maira turned to the smiling doctor Danar looking at her. Yes, it turns out that she was in her husband's room.
"Mas.." call Maira.
Doctor Danar walked over and sat down on the side of Maira's bed. The bed where he used to rest.
"Still sick to her stomach?" ask Danar's doctor while gently rubbing Maira's stomach.
Maira shook her head slowly and immediately wrapped her hands around the waist of Doctor Danar. Hiding her face for a moment near her husband's waist.
It felt comfortable and the pain of his stomach was gone. But suddenly Maira gasped and immediately left in a hurry. The surprised Danar doctor looks at Maira.
"Hey. Our son" said doctor Danar to Maira, who now remembers something.
"Mas... Nindi" Maira said with a face that had turned to panic now.
"Nindi is still being treated under" replied Danar's doctor.
"He's okay, right?" ask Maira again.
Doctor Danar smiled and shook his head slowly.
"God's insha he's okay. We pray" replied Dr. Danar.
Maira fell down and started crying.
"Nindi became wretched like this because maira mas nolongin, she nolongin Maira. Just try if he does not nolongin Maira, he certainly will not be harmed" said Maira with Isak her cry.
He was really sad when he remembered the incident in the campus earlier. Even how Nindi rolled from the top of the stairs was still imagined in Maira's mind. It was true to moan, even Maira was very scared when she remembered that.
"Darling.it's not your fault. Nindi is like this because she cares about you and our son. This is a disaster anyway. No one wants something like this to happen" Danar replied, pulling Maira into his arms.
Maira cried sobbing in the arms of Doctor Danar. He really regretted this incident.
"Maira was afraid of Nindi why" Maira said again.
Doctor Danar gently rubbed Maira's back. He just saw the doctor who treated Nindi. And the doctor said that there was nothing serious. Only a mild concussion, but because Nindi lost a lot of blood, it made her condition weakened.
However, Danar's doctor was indebted to the girl.
"Maira was afraid of mas" said Maira again who was still crying sobbing in the arms of her husband.
"Honey, Nindi must be good. He only lost a lot of blood and therefore his condition was weak. There's nothing to worry about " said Dr Danar.
"Right" asked Maira, looking up and looking at Danar's doctor.
Doctor Danar smiled and nodded. Her hands rubbed the tears on Maira's face gently.
"Yes, Brian has donated his blood to Nindi" replied Danar's doctor.
"Sister Brian?" ask Maira again.
And doctor Danar nodded again.
And again, earlier Maira could see if Brian who swiftly took Nindi away from the scene, with his cold face was really anxious.
"Mas, Maira wants to see Nindi" pinta Maira.
"Nindi has not been able to be visited by many people. He still has to rest. You are also so, our children now should not be tired first" said doctor Danar while rubbing back Maira's stomach.
Maira pursed her lips briefly and lowered her head with a hand that also rubbed her stomach.
"But Maira wants to see Nindi mas, Maira wants to see the situation" said Maira again.
"Yes, then yeah. We prayed ashar first. It's in time. After that, we just look at Nindi" replied Dr. Danar.
And inevitably, Maira just nodded resignedly.
...
While in Nindi's room a while after her..
Brian was in Nindi's room. Sitting still and looking at the pale face of Nindi who was not drained with blood.
He had cleaned himself and changed his clothes with a Danar doctor's shirt. A bit of greatness, but it doesn't diminish his good looks.
Brian looked at Nindi's face fixedly. His heart was really sad to see Nindi who was like this. It was still very weak, but it was better than before.
It turns out that his blood fits in Nindi's body. Brian is so grateful for that. Nindi can be dealt with quickly.
Nindi's head is still bandaged. Even the hijab he used to wear is now only replaced with plastic head wrapping, because his head was injured quite badly.
Luckily, he had only a mild concussion and no bleeding in Nindi's brain. Otherwise, Brian really doesn't know what's going to happen to this girl.
Brian sighed for a moment and looked back at Nindi with his faint smile.
"You must have thought that if I hated you instead" said Brian, sounding soft, but he said just because he wanted to express his heart to Nindi.
"I never hated you Nindi. A beautiful girl who was too brave to approach me" Brian said again, still with his thin smile. A smile that was very expensive for him to put out on others.
"Yes, only you would dare to approach me so much that you would always flirt with me at any time"
"Your smile, your laughter, your seduction, and even your sometimes annoying, real nature is able to attract my attention" Brian said.
Brian now bowed and took a deep breath.
"I was so happy when you decided to change. I'm the happiest Nindi. When everyone blasphemes your change because of me, but I believe if you change it is indeed because of your own intentions" Brian said again. It was as if he was indeed talking to Nindi who was now listening to him. Despite the fact that Nindi is still at home in her subconscious now.
"Not that I hate you. I just want to help you get close to God. I want you to really change for no reason whatsoever, let alone because of me"
"I want you to turn into a girl who is Istiqomah, a girl who is strong in the face of the gossip of people. A strong girl who is able to prove, if not for me you turned into like this" said Brian again, but now his eyes look teary.
"I've stayed away from you in my life. But I always say your name in every prayer. If you are the best, God will surely unite us in the best way possible" Brian said.
Brian smiled again and moved from his seat.
"May He give us the best way to be together" Brian murmured.
And after that, he went straight out and left Nindi.
Without knowing, a tear fell on the corner of the girl's eyes.
