I'm Afraid of Van!

The day had begun in the afternoon when Ervan drove Erika home. Along the way, none of them spoke. Ervan with her own thoughts, while Erika was silent because she endured the pain on her waist that felt so biting.

This afternoon Erika forgot to take her medicine, making the pain come again now. Even the medicine was left at home he did not bring.

Erika's hand squeezing each other withstood the pain, occasionally she sighed heavily to alleviate this pain.

"Erika.." call Ervan who's starting to panic.

"Uuuhhhh hurts Van.." murmured Erika with her head down and her watery eyes.

Ervan immediately lifted Erika's body and brought her into the house. Where Akbar and Ayu who had just come out also immediately panicked to see Erika who was in pain.

"Sir Erika why?" asked Ayu who was following Ervan into the house. While Akbar swiftly put a pillow on the long chair in the room.

Ervan slid Erika's body on the chair slowly. He was really anxious to see Erika who was in pain like this.

"We go to the hospital" Ervan asked.

But Erika shook her head with tears.

"Let's go get Yu's sister's medicine" Erika asked in a trembling voice.

Ayu nodded and quickly ran to their room, while Akbar ran to the kitchen to get a glass of water.

"Erika, you need to be taken to the hospital. Your face is pale. What's really sick?" ask Ervan.

Erika who was lying down and hiding her face was cushioned only shook her head slowly. His hands squeezed the pillow firmly. Ervan could even see if Erika's hands were already sweating. I don't know how much pain he felt.

"Erika.." call Ervan again.

"Silver is the medicine" said Ayu

Ervan immediately grabbed the medicine and helped Erika drink it. He could even feel if Erika's body really shook, so to drink even she could no longer calm down.

After taking her medicine, Erika again lay with her body tilted and her face which she had smuggled was cushioned. To walk into the room was no longer able. And he also did not want Ervan to see his current pitiful face.

Erika endured the crying and pain together, until she revealed everything on the pillow where she lay.

There's Ervan here, there's someone who's looking at him in pain. Can Erika ask for help and complain to Ervan if this pain is like wanting to kill her?

Erika wanted to cry, expressing all the pain and fear that came together. Because really, he was no longer able to endure this alone.

But Ervan.... will he care???

Erika was stunned when suddenly a hand rubbed her back and also her waist. The warm sense of touch made her feel calmer, but her pesky tears were increasingly unable to be dammed by Erika. The pillow she was sleeping on became wet.

"If it's not strong, we can go to the hospital" Ervan asked again, with her hands still rubbing Erika's shoulders. At first he hesitated, but seeing Erika who tried to endure the pain made Ervan not have the heart.

"Erika.." call Ervan again.

And instead of her answering, Erika even sobbed behind the pillow. Even the shoulder that had just started to calm down, was now shaking again. Not to endure pain, but to endure crying.

"Hey... Why are you crying?" ervan asked confusedly.

Akbar and Ayu who had been silent since then were also confused and increasingly anxious to see Erika.

"Erika" called Ervan while grabbing Erika's head to look at her, but Erika instead brushed the hand away quietly.

"Erika" call Ervan again. This time he moved and pulled Erika's shoulder to make Erika directly look at her with a face that was so pitiful.

"Why?" ask Ervan.

And instead of her answering, Erika cupped her face and wept even more.

"I'm afraid" Erika muttered with sobbing sobs.

"I'm afraid of Van. So scared" she said it sounded sore

Ervan looked at Erika with sadness and pity. Why did her heart ache to see Erika who was like this. He was alone, he had no one, he was driven away and now his life is being threatened.

Ervan really can't bear.

"Hey.. already. There I am" Ervan said, pulling Erika's hand and grasping her gently.

"I'm here" Ervan said again as she looked at Erika's face that seemed to cry with so sadness and looked so devastated.

Erika's pain had lessened, and now there was a strange feeling that made her unable to stop crying.

The sentence Ervan just said made Erika really erratic. There was such a great sense of haru that he felt, even though he did not know the words were true or not. But for now, those words were what Erika desperately needed.

"Don't be afraid, I'm here for you" Ervan said. Even he himself did not know why he could talk like that.

Erika grew weeping and spread her head in Ervan's arms which became her pedestal. Crying so happily even if it's just a word.

"I'm sorry Van. Ii'm sorry. But now, I'm glad to hear that. I'm afraid Van.. I'm afraid" said Erika who was still hugging Ervan's arm who knelt in front of her. Erika was still lying down so it was easy for her to hug Ervan's arm. Making that arm for where she spilled all her pain and fear all along.

Ervan looked softly at Erika, she rubbed Erika's head with one of her other hands. Letting the girl cry to her satisfaction and shed all her burdens at this time.

Ervan knows how Erika is. She is a spoiled girl who is spanked by her own circumstances and karma. But look at everything that's happened. Everything feels broken even more than what Erika has done so far.

And now, she was just a pitiful girl who needed passion to stay alive.

"Don't be afraid anymore. Since long ago until now you can still ask me anything" said Ervan.

Erika did not reply, she just cried behind Ervan's arm. Crying with all the overflow of his heart, until finally he was exhausted and fell asleep hugging the arm.
