I was heartbroken to see Ricardo laughing with satisfaction while shaking the hands of the giant businessmen who are now his partners.

One more month I prepared everything about this very big project. I put all my energy and mind into making a pretty good presentation..

Actually this tender is not enough to make the company I lead affected but the agreement I have made makes me have to win it.

Ricardo Carvalho is my toughest rival in the business, I made a deal with him because I'm sure I will win this tender.

"If I win then Miss Delanie will be mine"

That was my bet with Ricardo, at that time I did not think long because at that time Delanie and I were in a big enough problem and also heavy.

" Take it if you succeed "I said arrogantly, I'm sure I'll win this tender because I'm used to it.

I was right to demean Delanie to have Ricardo withdraw the agreement between me and him. Actually, I don't have the right to decide Delanie's life path, but this agreement makes me have to keep it.

I'm not a man who likes to break promises especially after Zea leaves me.

" Your former things are precious, man" said Ricardo, leaving me with a triumphant smile

I hit the wooden table a few times, I no longer felt any pain from my bloodied hands. I started thinking about how I would tell Delanie if she should marry Ricardo.

" I'm going to lose Delanie again" I told myself, I've been really torturing that poor girl's life.

To relieve my guilt, I chose to befriend the drink. That's the only way I can sleep without thinking about Delanie's feelings
