06 - Meeting Back 02

Daniel was really flabbergasted by the charming figure in front of him. It was nothing but his words were truly hinting at his pride-laden decisiveness.

Daniel hints at Albert for leaving him and Calista. The meeting room became silent, only Daniel and Calista stood facing each other.

"I didn't expect us to meet again after the incident on the plane" Daniel said half in doubt.

Calista did not budge. He just looked at his nails in front of his eyes. "If you're just going to discuss that unimportant matter, sorry, I'd better get going now." Calista took her bag, looking at Daniel with a sharp look. "Until the day after 10." and he passed by without looking again.

Daniel was silent. "Damn! since when have I been in front of a woman? He was very different from the first time he met. If I hadn't looked at him from a close distance, I wouldn't have recognized him."

Daniel punched the meeting table. He had never felt underestimated by anyone before. And now the first person to underestimate her was a woman far below her age!

"Albert is right, she's no ordinary woman. It would be too foolish for her company to think that a Calista Chiu was just a young girl with no experience. In fact, some of his managers were a little overwhelmed answering the woman's questions earlier.

Daniel really feels his pride as a leader is challenged and he will never let anyone break down the principle of life that he has built, which is not to be defeated in terms of business negotiations. For him victory is a goal and no one can change it, not least a Calista Chiu!

"Albert...Albert!" shouted Daniel. Running small, Albert entered the meeting room.

"Sorry, Sir. Can I help you?"

Albert asked with a still breath.

"Please read the information I saw this morning about Miss Calista" Daniel said in a slightly upset tone.

"Miss Calista Chiu graduated from Leiden University in the Netherlands majoring in International Business and Accounting. He is a graduate student with cumlaude. He immediately contracted with the Sanyoin Group company when he graduated. He only completed his S1 studies for two years which was supposed to be 3.5 years due to his achievements and sincerity. She can speak Indonesian fluently because her mother is Indonesian. Her father is Taiwanese and since the age of 8, she and her twin brother followed their parents to settle in Taiwan until now. Anything else you want to know?" Albert asked to end the information.

"Enough for now. It's almost lunchtime. Please call the restaurant on the first floor and set my menu. This time I want to eat something close." Daniel orders and immediately responded by Albert by calling the restaurant in question.

Calista headed for the restaurant that was on the first floor. He just wanted to have coffee with a piece of cake. He did not feel so hungry today. Calista took the table in the corner and ordered. He punched the number in his hape and spoke in Chinese with the person across who turned out to be his main Boss.

"How was the meeting?" Ask the voice across.

"It's all going well, sir. I just still need to confirm the contents of the agreement they submitted. I still have to learn it. I think I need more time to be here because the Wikatama company is a big company and very professional. I need to be able to keep up with their strength in order to be equally profitable." Calista explained.

"good. Do your job as well as possible. If it works and as expected, there is a huge compensation waiting for you" said the boss. Calista smiled and nodded.

He smiled as the waiter brought his coffee and a piece of cake. Without him noticing, a pair of eyes were watching him from a distance of four meters. Yeah, that guy was Daniel who wasn't focused on his lunch anymore. He was really curious, as loud as what the creature was if it was outside.
