The office is still very quiet. The time showed it was only 06:30 but the company's top leader was already in his office along with a man investigating his rent.

"May I know his latest information?" daniel's voice broke the silence.

The man handed her a large brown envelope. "This is a printout of the last photos last night that I have enlarged to be more satisfied to see it. I have also sent the copy to your WhatsApp number along with the recording I can get. There was a bit of a problem when tapping into their conversation so not all of their conversations I could record. Just the beginning, but I'm sure that's enough to answer your wishes."

Daniel was still listening to the investigator's explanation.

"Oh yes sir, I still have difficulty revealing the identity of the two. That takes a decent amount of time considering these two people never expose themselves on any social media. If the man in the photo is clearly the leader of the company even though both his face and identity are still difficult for me to get. And as for the woman, I ju...."

"No need to find out about it. I know the woman, so just stop here. I am satisfied with your work." - Daniel.

The investigator smiled happily at his Big Boss response. "So you know the woman.Good then. I'm also happy if you're satisfied with the information I've got."

Daniel opened his desk drawer and pulled out a medium-sized envelope. "This is the repayment fee. Make sure all the information you get is confidential between us" Daniel said, handing the envelope to the investigator.

"Your secret is safe in my hands, sir. Please inform me if you have downloaded all the electronic evidences I sent you because after that I will destroy them all. This has become my code of work ethics."

Daniel nodded. "Please destroy all the evidence. I've saved it."

"All right then. I say goodbye first. It's nice working with you."

The man came out of Daniel's room after shaking hands.

He tried to strengthen his heart while regulating his breathing. He looked at each picture with a heart rhythm that was beating rather quickly. His face turned red. His jaw tightly clenched withstood the pain that had suddenly appeared and was scratching there. He gulped to relieve his throat which was beginning to feel uncomfortable.

The woman photographed was holding one of the men's hands in front of her. They seem to care for each other, to love each other.

"Why did you betray me, Calista! What's the next big plan you're gonna do to me? Are you guys conspiring to get all my money?"

Daniel continued to mutter in his anger.

Daniel then opened the gap and played the taped intercept conversation that had been stored on his phone. The conversation was short but it was enough for him to answer all the questions that plagued his mind!

"You are a demonic woman! You used my love by pretending to fall in love with me and marry me so you could get a big share of my fortune if you got divorced? Ha..ha.ha. Very genius!"

Daniel stared at one of his bandaged hands for punching a glass the other day. "I will avenge all this pain, my dear. You must take responsibility for your betrayal of me!"

Daniel smiled cynically. He truly regrets having loved Calista and married her just for wanting to have her completely. For him at this time, he was in too much of a hurry to marry his wife without knowing her first.

"You turned out to be an******** who was willing to sell your body only for the sake of a rich man. You don't really love me. Nice acting, my dear. I'll make you kneel on my feet to regret what you've done to me. Don't say my name is Daniel Nielson if I can't make you suffer!"

Daniel looked straight ahead with his furious face, trying to temper his chaotic feelings caused by a woman named, Calista, his own wife!
