It's been almost a week that Daniel hasn't seen Calista since that night. Albert told her that Miss Calista still needed a break. Daniel knows that. He also did not want to force Calista to immediately take their cooperation decision.
Daniel admits that he felt less excited these few days and that was all out of fear of not hearing from Calista. Daniel crumpled up the paper in his hand. He did not realize what he was doing. He couldn't lie to his heart if he missed looking at Calista's face. The girl has taken his heart!
Daniel's never been like this before. There were many women around him that he always met while relaxing with his friends but none of them could make him almost go crazy like this, other than Calista! He really can't take it anymore.
Armed with the WhatsApp number he got from Albert, Daniel dared to contact Calista through chat.
Daniel: "How are you? Here's my number. Daniel Nielson." There's no reply.
Daniel: "Have you gone?"
Moments later.
Calista: "I'm better. Thanks for the asking."
Calista: "I've read the files you sent by email, it's been great. My boss is satisfied." 👍👍
Daniel: "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to call you to talk about work."
Calista: It's ok. We haven't been in a meeting for a week, I don't want to waste much time."
Daniel: "I just want to know how you are. Not more."
Calista: "A work agreement I sent just now. My boss has signed it electronically. 50:50 profit is a win win solution. Just waiting for your signature and our cooperation goes straight through."
Daniel: "Alright. Can we meet? It's up to you to take your time."
Calista: "I don't think there's anything else we need to discuss. I'll be back in Taiwan soon."
Daniel could write nothing.
There was a pain that Daniel felt reading Calista's last chat.
"Am I the only one who feels this love?..... Calista. I don't know if I can survive if you're not around anymore."
Daniel stared at the file in front of him listlessly. It's hard to concentrate. That longing was really tormenting his heart!

Calista was still staring at his phone screen, hoping Daniel would still reply to his chat. He tried to shake off the strange feeling that slowly warmed his heart when he was with Daniel.
It was a similar feeling four years ago when he met Edward, his former girlfriend. A relationship that didn't last long just because Edward was sick and then left him for good. Calista closed her eyes, trying to forget those sad memories. He was afraid to open his heart again. He doesn't want to lose anymore when he's in love.
Calista got up from his couch to pick up the laptop located on his desk.
He opened the email and started typing. He asked his boss to allow him two more weeks before returning to Taiwan. He had to take care of the sale of his parents' house in Jakarta because it had been only rented. His mother contacted him for this so as not to bother anymore to take care of the asset. Incidentally 2 days ago there were several prospective buyers who had contacted.
A few moments later the reply arrived. Calista's application approved. Calista smiled even though his heart was clouded.
No one knows how he feels right now. He wanted to share it with Kimberly but lately the red-haired girl is very busy with her training as a new employee. Calista sighed softly. She realizes that labeling people against her as assertive, brave and strong, can be fragile only by complicated love.
