CH 57 - ENGAGEMENT

I don't feel like the day is starting to go up in the afternoon. A horse-drawn carriage was seen entering Villa Sandat and a middle-aged man descended and rushed into the main building of Villa Sandat.

"Good afternoon, Ni Mas."

"Are you ready to go?" greet the man to Sariwati who was waiting in the living room.

"Let's get Lanus! I'm ready." Sariwari got up from her seat and stepped out of the room, followed by Lanus, aide to Mr. Timoti from behind.

"Mek Iluh! I leave first yes, Mek." said sariwati to her maid who looks busy sweeping the Villa yard.

The old woman stopped her activities and turned towards Sariwati,

"Okay, Ni Mas."

"Will Ni Mas spend the night at Ni Mas's father's house or will he come home? ask mek Iluh to his master.

" Gak Mek, I'm just accompanying my father and I'll come back here later." mek Iluh just nodded at Sariwati's reply and the girl immediately climbed up the steps of the horse carriage that picked her up.

"Oh yes, I don't have to wait for you."

"I have the key, later before you go home do not forget to turn on the lights and lock the door." said Sariwati to mek Iluh, his head gawking from behind the window of the horse carriage.

"Well, Ni Mas." said the old woman briefly.

The horse-drawn carriage by Sariwati began to move towards the town of Negeri Pantai.

Almost an hour away, the horse-drawn carriage carrying Sariwati entered the rice field shop where his father's master Timoti met with his colleagues from Tidar State.

The girl tidied her hood before getting out of the carriage and Lanus opened the door of the carriage,

"Please, Ni Mas. The governor is waiting for you inside." said the man.

Sariwati stepped towards the shop on the edge of the rice field, the tall girl looks more elegant with a green kebaya toska dress and pink veil that she wears.

The atmosphere of the rice field side shop looks crowded, understand only that the place is the most famous restaurant in the State of the Beach. Various dishes served typical of coastal State cuisine, Bebek bakar and plecing kale is the mainstay menu of the restaurant.

A waiter rushed to greet and approached Sariwati who was seen entering the tavern.

"Let's go ahead, Ni Sanak." welcome the waiter politely.

Sariwati made a faint smile, "Please take me to the table that the governor ordered." the girl told the waiter.

"Oh sorry I don't recognize Ni Sanak. Is this Ni Sanak Ni Mas Sariwati?" ask the waiter politely.

Sariwati just nodded slowly and her smile was still sweet on her pomegranate-red lips.

"" Come on, Ni Mas. He was waiting on the third floor." said the shopkeeper to Sariwati.

Sariwati followed the servant up the stairs to the third floor room of the rice field shop. No matter how long the two have been in the top room of the store. There are two large tables facing the rice fields and from a distance the view of the beautiful Purnama beach in the middle of the reddish twilight.

Seeing the arrival of his daughter, the governor smiled sumringah,

"Hi! come here son, join us." Mr. Timoti moved from his seat to Sariwati. The man took his daughter's hand and delivered Sariwati to a chair to her right.

"Haryo, Goddess! this is my daughter, Sariwati." said Mr. Timoti to two people sitting across the table.

"Wati, introduce him-he is Mr. Haryo and the mistress of Dewi's best friend father when he was young" said the governor again.

Sariwati smilingly looked at her father's guest and cupped both palms in her chest greeting the two.

They still have a long family relationship with our extended family, son." explained the governor to his daughter.

"Your daughter is beautiful, Tim!" said madam Dewi.

"His face is very similar to that of your late wife Widyowati." now Mr. Haryo chimed in.

"Unfortunately the late had not seen the growth of Wati" said Mr. Timoti, his face looks sad.

Seeing the change in the face of the governor, Sariwati exclaimed,

"Dad!" whispered Sariwati while holding the hand of the father.

"Hi, Tim! we're not here to see you sad, be grateful that you were reunited with your beautiful princess alone." said Mr. Haryo back.

The governor smiled at the words of his old friend. Mr. Governor told me about how he met the child and what happened to him so far to become governor in the Beach Country. Long and occasional conversations in interspersed with laughter adorn the meeting of the old friend and Sariwati only smile and occasionally answer the questions of master Haryo and mistress Dewi.

Suddenly a young man entered the third-floor room of the rice field side tavern and immediately sat down next to Lord Haryo and the mistress of the Goddess.

"Seto, where have you been. Mom and Dad are waiting for you!"

"Come salim to Uncle Timoti!" exclaimed the Goddess mistress while glaring at the young man called Seto.

The young man lazily extended his hand to Mr. Timoti but his eyes were blocked when he looked at Sariwati, his hands as if he did not want to be able to hold the girl's hand. The misbehaved Sariwati was looked at in such a way by Seto immediately pulled her hand.

"Team, this is my only child Seto Nugroho" Mr. Haryo told Mr. Timoti.

"Seto! he is Mr. Timoti father's friend and that next to him is his daughter, Sariwati." added Mr. Haryo back.

Seto ignored the words of his father, he continued to look at the face of ayu Sariwati.

"Seto! you're being disrespectful." harden the mistress of the Goddess while pinching her son's waist.

"Auuu, sick!" peeking Seto grimaced.

"What the hell, Mom! I'm just enjoying the beautiful face of this God-made angel in front of me, Mom!" reemerged.

"You, you bad boy!" madam Dewi is back.

"Already! how noisy, you guys."

"Shame on Mr. Timoti and Wati."

"Team, sorry!" exclaim Mr. Haryo.

"Let's just relax, Har."

"Let's just enjoy the dish in front of us" said Mr. Timoti calmly as if nothing happened while Sariwati just fell silent and felt uncomfortable with Seto's gaze.

all those in the rungan also enjoy a variety of menu dishes ordered. Occasionally the laughter of Mr. Haryo and Mr. Timoti broke and Seto still stole a look at the beauty of Sariwati.

"Some one has a crush, right! exclaimed master Haryo looking at the behavior of his son. Seno just smiled thinly not heeding his father's innuendo.

It did not feel the day began to dark with the sun sinking in the western horizon. The meeting of the two old friends in the afternoon was lively.

"Dad, I went back to Manguntur first, huh, Dad?" sariwati said to Mr. Timoti

"Aren't you just staying at Dad's? tomorrow morning you can go back to Manguntur.

"What's up, Dad, too, Mr. Lanus will drive me home."

"Yes, that's what you want" the governor said briefly to his daughter.

"Uncle, Auntie! I'll say yes."

" I'll see you tomorrow."

said Sariwati while reaching for the hand of master Haryo and lady Goddess
