CH 44 - HEART THE THUNDER PART II

It was seen that Muhibbin performed separate magrib prayers with Sariwati, not long after both of them came out of the surau in the Villa Sandat residence of Sariwati.

"Bin, have you eaten yet?"

"I'm preparing dinner for us!" sariwati said to her lover.

"Didn't you take nicotine, Wati?"

"Not yet, it is already evening. It's not good to see the two of us here."

"No, I've made it to you today" replied the girl.

Muhibbin could only be silent, soon after Sariwati returned to the middle room with the cuisine he had prepared.

"Come Bin, let's have dinner first."

The two also had dinner together to enjoy the dishes prepared by Sariwati. The silence of the night was felt and not a word was said between the two, suddenly Sariwati broke the atmosphere of silence of the night.

"Bin, what's the plan going forward about our relationship? will it be like this forever?" said the ayu girl to the man in front of her.

'Huk, huk'

Hearing the question Muhibbin choked, hurriedly picked up a glass of water in front of him and drank it.

"What do you mean, Wati?" ask the man.

Sariwati sighed and finished her dinner.

"Yes, our relationship will be carried by us, Bin?"

"Will it be like this forever?" sariwati.

Paras ayu the girl blushed red.

"Yes, I know Wati."

"Yourselves know how I am. Here I just hitchhiked and worked for my foster father and my income is not much."

"Especially I still bear the burden of my family's responsibilities in the village, are you ready to accept my mediocre situation, Wati?" muhibbin replied, his eyes fixed on his lover's face.

"Is that just a classic reason you don't want to marry me, Bin?" answer Sariwati ketus. The girl is seen rising with a sour face tidying up the former food plate and carrying it towards the back.

Muhibbin only sighed seeing Sariwati's attitude, "Hemm, wrong again." he muttered while scratching his head that did not itch. He got up and brought dirty dishes to the back following Sariwati.

After a while, Muhibbin stepped out of the central room of Villa Sandat towards the terrace. He sat on the stairs while smoking the cigarette he was carrying. White smoke billowed out along with the heavy sigh.

"I told you, don't smoke anymore! take care of your health, Bin!" suddenly Sariwati was behind him. The woman sat next to Muhibbin with a still sour face.

"I'm ready Bin, with your circumstances. The wind is God who rules. We can only try."

"Especially I myself have the expertise and my uncle also paid for my labor in the health center of this country."

"Then what are you worried about, if we get married?"

"It's not so, Wati! marriage is not as simple as you think."

"Is your family ready to accept me and my extended family?" ask Muhibbin. He looked at the girl next to him.

"If that's the reason until anytime you won't meet, Bin! moreover, my status has been banished from my extended family." replied Sariwati ketus.

"Not so, Wati! gradually your parents and extended family will understand and accept you again."

"Especially you are a woman, your marriage must be attended by your guardian, your father or brother, we know what the rules of religion are, Wati? We marry not according to lust but all we do because of lillah."

"Basak just because we want to realize something, we have to violate the rules of religion?" muhibbin gave his lover an understanding.

"Yes but over time if you follow your mindset, Bin! it's better to be a layman of the religion actually, doing something without much long-winded consideration" said Sariwati upset.

"That's not my mindset, Wati. That's the religious rule,"

"The rules were made to empower you as women. If the rule does not exist, then it would be arbitrary for men to dump women and the obvious victim is the woman herself."

"If I were a cool man, Wati!"

"That's what you have to understand about our situation" Muhibbin said.

"Oh no, fool with this situation, I'm already saturated with this situation." now Sariwati started sobbing.

"Yes patient, Wati! it's a test of our love."

"I will try my hardest to fight for this relationship. When we get married, I want us to be approved by our parents, Wati."

"Patience, there must be a way out." concluded Muhibbin comforted his lover.

"But I'm scared, Bin. I'm afraid we won't be together." said Sariwati still sobbing.

"We leave it to the owner of life, Wati. A good goal with a good path will definitely bear good fruit." replied Muhibbin.

"You don't know how my family is, Bin. They can do anything to achieve the goal they want."

"I want to be honest with you, our relationship will definitely not be sanctioned by them. Moreover, my eldest brother is currently in this country and my whereabouts here are already known to my family, Bin."

"I fear they will impose their will on us, Bin. I'm scared!"

Now Sariwati's cry can no longer be held. In his mind imagine how cruel and cruel his eldest brother Habsari if he wants something and who is worried about the girl is nothing but bad things will happen to his lover Muhibbin.

"You don't have to worry, Wati. God is heart-turning, we can only lean on and ask for His protection from everything beyond our ability.

"The hard rock will be perforated and broken by the continuous drops of water, as well as your family's attitude towards you."

"My capital is just determination and patience, Wati."

"Having yourself and being your lover is like a dream" Mihibbin told Sariwati.

The girl next to him was still unmoved, a clear circle fell from her eyelids that looked puffy.

Both are silent a thousand languages, only a sobbing of Sariwati occasionally heard racing with the sound of night animals around Villa Sandat which began in the thick gelayuti day.
