55. Fever.

The afternoon ....

Starla stands in front of Deka's room carrying a tray containing lunch for the man.

He knocked on the door, "Bang, I brought you this lunch.

But there was no word from the inside, Starla then knocked again.

"Don't you, can I come in?"

Once again with no answer at all, Starla felt a little anxious.

"Did he sleep? Or something happened?" guess Starla.

Slowly, Starla opened the door and peeked into Deka's room, looking like the beautiful-looking man was sleeping.

"Oh, I'm sleeping. It's worth not saying, then I'll just go in." Carefully, Starla entered, she was a little afraid that Deka was angry because she had entered without permission, but she had no choice, she had to deliver lunch to her master.

Starla placed the tray she was carrying on the nightstand, then looked at Deka's face which looked red but her lips were pale, her forehead was also sweating and she was shivering. Starla immediately sat down at the side of Deka and placed the back of her hand on the man's forehead then touched his hand.

"Geez, he's got a fever!" starla exclaimed anxiously as she felt the heat on Deka's forehead and arms.

Because Starla touched him, Deka woke up and looked at the woman with my eyes.

"Badan Abang very hot, Brother fever."

Deka was unmoved, she was too weak to simply reply to the woman's words.

"Sorry, can I see the wound?" ask Starla.

Deka nodded.

With Starla slowly undressing Deka and examining her wound, she gasped when she saw the wound on Deka's chest swell up and the edges were reddish.

"It looks like your wound is infected, then I'll take the medicine first!" Starla moved and hurried away.

Deka just looked at the woman's departure without saying anything, she felt very weak and cold, the wound on her chest was throbbing as well, yet she tried to endure the pain.

Starla ran downstairs and took the medicine box and dismantled it, but the medicine she was looking for was missing.

"Did he not keep ibuprofen or anything like that?" gerutu Starla's.

"Cckk, I have to buy it. But the pharmacy is far from here."

But suddenly an idea pops up in Starla's head, she prepares a bowl then fills it with warm water then takes a small towel and takes it to Deka's room.

Starla sat down at Deka's side again and compressed the man's forehead with a small towel that she had soaked in warm water.

Deka glanced at him.

"I go get some hot medicine first, I'll come back later" Starla said, glancing at the car keys on the table.

Deka nodded twice. Starla got up and put the bowl she was carrying on the table, unbeknownst to Deka, she took the car keys and hurriedly left.

Starla drives Deka's car to a pharmacy far enough from the man's house. He bought heat-lowering and anti-inflammatory drugs, as well as antibiotic ointments. He also bought a thermometer to check Deka's body temperature.

Starla drove the car at high speed to get home, she was a little worried about the state of Deka. After arriving home, Starla parked her car carelessly and hurriedly ran towards Deka's room.

Starla sat down next to Deka again, she took a towel on Deka's already warm forehead then wet it again then placed it on the man's head. He also slipped a thermometer in Deka's armpit to check the man's temperature.

"Now you eat first, huh? Only then did he take his medicine."

Deka shook his head and said softly, "I don't taste."

"But you should eat before taking these medications. Even a little bit is okay, so that the stomach is not empty," Starla persuaded.

Deka also said, Starla grabbed a plate containing food and then fed a spoonful of rice and side dishes to the front of Deka's mouth. Deka slowly opened her mouth and ate it. Starla does the same thing again, but in the third feed, Deka refuses.

"Already," said Deka slowly.

Starla did not want to force it, she put the plate back on the table then took out the drugs she bought from the package and took a glass of water.

"Now take the medicine first, Bang!" Starla helps Deka take her medicine.

"I'll clean your wound, wait a minute!" Starla moved back up while carrying the tray containing the empty plate away.

Deka only looked at Starla's departure with an unreadable look, she was amazed by Starla's every action, the woman was very caring and considerate of her.
