The three had already arrived at Deka's house, with shaky steps, the cold-faced man walked into her house and flopped down on the sofa. Dani also sat down next to him, while Starla took the initiative to get some water to drink to Deka, so that the man would be calmer.
Starla hurriedly returned with a glass of water and gave it to Deka, "Here, Bang. Drink first!"
Deka received the glass that Starla gave him and then downed the water until it was out of nothing, he seemed thirsty because of fatigue beating the robber earlier.
"You're better?" dani asked when she saw Deka putting an empty glass on the table, and her best friend just nodded.
Dani turned to look at Starla who was standing before them, "La, can you leave us for a minute?"
"Can, Bang. Then I'll go to the kitchen first." Starla rushed back to the kitchen while carrying the empty glass.
After making sure Starla was away, Dani again looked at Deka.
"Well, shouldn't you go to a psychiatrist?" cetus Dani's.
Deka suddenly stared at his best friend, "I'm not crazy, why to a psychiatrist?"
"I'm just worried you can't control yourself when I'm not around, and end up killing people you shouldn't be killing" Dani replied cautiously, he was afraid of making his best friend offended and angry.
Deka bowed and held his head with both hands, Dani's words had a point as well. He should have only killed the people Victor wanted and killed the father, not the small-scale robbers like that or the people he shouldn't have gone.
Dani embraces Deka's shoulder, "Ka, I'm not always around you, I don't want you to regret it later."
Deka just budged, digesting the advice of his best friend.
"You realize that your behavior made other people horrified and afraid, how about you do that to an innocent person? You can get in trouble, Ka," Dani continued.
Deka raised his head and covered his face with both palms, he himself was confused how to control his emotions whenever the shadow of the incident in that terrible night revolved in his memory.
"You can't keep going like this, you have to be in control, Ka. It'll hurt you."
"I can't, Dan! As long as I haven't found my father's killer, then I'll continue like this" Deka argued, she moved on and went to her room.
Dani exhaled heavily, he was concerned and annoyed by Deka's stubbornness. He knew Deka needed a psychiatrist to help him heal from this trauma, he did not want his friends to continue living in the shadow of his father's death.
Seeing Deka leave, Starla who had been trying to eavesdrop on their conversation from the kitchen, immediately approached Dani.
"He's really why, Bang?" ask Starla curiously.
"It's okay" Dani replied, she didn't want Starla to know what happened to Deka.
But of course Starla does not believe it just like that, she knows something is wrong with Deka, she has to find out.
"But I saw him as a man of doom when he beat up the robber, did he have a personal grudge?"
Dani shook her head, "No, she doesn't even know them. He does so when he's emotional, it's hard to control yourself."
Starla was stunned, "Well, right, Bang? Well, then, I'm not going to work and live here, you know!"
"I'm afraid, if he's emotional and can't control himself, I could be the victim. I don't want to die silly, I still want to live long" Starla said.
Dani smiled and shook his head, "For twenty years I have known Deka, never once has he hit a woman, he has not been that crazy."
"Yes, who knows he's so emotional and this kind of loyalty and then vented it on me, because in this house there's only me. Anyway I'm just gonna get out of here, I'm scared, Bang,"
"La, it's not like that! Deka just ...." Dani did not continue his words, he hesitated to say what really happened to Deka.
Starla knitted her eyebrows together, she felt increasingly curious about Deka, "What's it, Bang?"
Dani shook his head, "Not, it's nothing!"
"Don't she have a mental breakdown, huh?" guess Starla at it.
Dani stared at the woman, "What are you talking about? He's not crazy!"
"Then what?"
Dani sighed, she did not want Starla to misunderstand and think nothing of Deka, so forced she finally told the dark events that befell Deka and her father twenty years ago. But of course he did not tell the true work of Deka and all the murders that his best friend had done so far.
Starla listened carefully to Dani's story, for some reason her heart was filled to hear the life story of the Deka who was so bitter. It turned out that behind his cold and harsh attitude, Deka was so fragile and pitiful.
"So she's having post traumatic stress disorder? It's so sad" said Starla.
Dani frowned, "What is that?"
"Trauma because of past events, and every time there is a trigger, he will be reminded of events that traumatize him, affecting his thoughts and emotions. Because of her strong desire for revenge, she cannot control herself" Starla said at length.
"I was expecting it, so I sent him to a psychiatrist" Dani said.
Starla nodded, "She does need a psychiatrist and sharing partner, but she also needs affection and attention to slowly heal from her injuries and traumas."
"You seem to know a lot about this, are you not a psychologist?" Dani looks suspiciously at Starla.
Starla laughed, "Where might a person like me be a psychologist, Bang! I've only seen cases like this in movies I've seen."
"Oh, it's worth it." Dani laughed.
Starla breathed a sigh of relief.
Meanwhile in his room, Deka was staring at himself in front of the mirror, his cold looking face still contained splashes of blood of the robber earlier.
Deka clenched his hand tightly, "I promise to finish off the man who killed you, Father. I won't let them live quietly."
