12. Robbery.

Deka decided to take Starla and Dani to eat at a restaurant in downtown Batam, they ordered some food and drinks. Dani who was already starving immediately ate the food in front of him, as well as Deka and Starla.

"You want to taste mine?" dani asked Starla who was sitting next to her.

"No need, Bang!" reject Starla.

"Burning chicken here is delicious, you have to taste it!" urged Dani a little forcefully, she even thrust a piece of grilled chicken into front of Starla's mouth.

By having Starla open her mouth and eat the chicken offered by Dani, she felt bad if she refused it.

The deka who was eating only glanced at the two people.

"Enak right?" Dani ensured.

Starla nodded, "Yes, good."

"You again?" Dani again wants to feed another piece of grilled chicken to Starla.

"Eh, no, Bang! I'll just eat this." Starla pointed at the rice with her meat rendang.

Dani grimaced in shame and immediately put the piece of grilled chicken into his mouth, while Deka just shook his head to see the effort of his best friend's approach.

"The meat's good?" Dani turns to look at Starla's plate, she doesn't seem to run out of material to talk to.

"Kingdavis, Bang. But I can cook meat rendang better than this, rendang typical Minang," said Starla proudly.

"really? Then sometime you can cook for me, because I like meat rendang," pinta Dani.

"May, Bang," Starla replied and then turned her gaze to Deka, "Abang also likes meat rendang?"

Deka nodded twice, Dani looked at Starla and her best friend in turn.

"Later I'm masakin, huh?"

Deka nodded again, "Hem, I can."

"Balado jerky cooking, chicken gulai, sweet sour fish, anything I can," Starla continued.

"Yes, then you cook every day at Deka's house, rather than buying food outside. Later I can stop by for a meal," said Dani, while chuckling.

"That good idea!" starla.

"It doesn't work, Ka?" ask Dani.

"Yes, whatever," said Deka resigned.

Starla and Dani laughed happily.

"Then I have to go shopping, dong. You see, I saw in the kitchen and the refrigerator Brother there was no food, even salt was not in a house that big," said Starla, sneering.

"Where would there be anything, if the one who has a house just goes home to take a shower and sleep, even if he does not shower and sleep in the hotel with his woman," said Dani while glancing at Deka.

Starla gasped and looked at Deka, but the man was indifferent.

"Oh yeah, did you call your family?" dani asked suddenly, she wanted to distract Starla from Deka.

"Why? They must be waiting for news from you," said Dani, while Deka just silently listened.

"My phone went missing and I forgot my family's phone number, so I couldn't call them" Starla said.

"You don't know your friends' numbers either?"

Starla shook her head, "No, Bang."

Deka remained unmoved, she was still listening to Starla and Dani's chat.

"Your family must have been very anxious because you didn't give word" Dani continued.

Starla just nodded her head.

"Hurry, finish the food! It's too late" Deka concluded to break the two-man conversation.

The three of them continued eating, and after they finished, they hurried away from the restaurant.

Deka's car is parked in front of a mini market, as they were talking about earlier in the restaurant, Starla decided to shop for groceries and other necessities, as well, and this time Dani went shopping to minimize the occurrence of similar things, so they did not wait longer like in the clothing store earlier. While Deka prefers to stay in the car, relax while listening to music.

In the mini market, Starla chooses a variety of vegetables and fruits. He also buys meat, fish, eggs, shrimp, and a variety of kitchen spices including salt of course. Dani faithfully follows the woman shopping while pushing the trolley, they look like a happy couple.

"Buy what else, yeah, Bang?" starla asked confusedly.

"Rice already?"

"Oh yes, rice! There's side dishes but no rice, anyway!" starla said with a laugh.

Dani looked at Starla's beautiful face with her own smiles, she had been fascinated by the woman from the first glance.

Dani flinched, her daydreams instantly crumbling, "Eh, yes-yes!"

Quickly and deftly he lifted the fifteen-kilogram sack of rice.

"Here you pay!" Starla turns to push the trolley containing their groceries.

The two walked towards the cashier, but suddenly two men dressed in all black and wearing masks snatched into the mini market and pointed their selurit to the cashier.

The actions of the two alleged robbers caused several hysterical and panicked mini-market customers, including Starla and Dani.

"Shut up! No one is screaming!" snapped one of the plontos-headed robbers while lifting his celurit.

Everyone was instantly silent in fear, as were Starla and Dani.

"Give me the money!" ask the other robber to the cashier's guard.

But damn, Dani's phone suddenly rang and caught the attention of the two robbers.

With a sharp look, the plontos-headed robber stepped closer to Dani and Starla who were standing not far from him.

Dani gulped, she wanted to fight but her fighting ability wasn't good enough. He glanced out, hoping Deka knew what was going on and came to their rescue.

"Give me your phone!" pinta the plontos-headed robber now stands in front of Dani.

Dani was holding her phone in her pocket which kept ringing.
