26. Expressions Feelings.

Finally Starla and Dani had dinner at one of the simple stalls on the side of the road, both eating dishes while chatting and joking, especially when remembering the incident at the mosque earlier, they both laughed out loud.

"She must have been terrified just now, her face turned pale" Dani said, then laughed again.

"Akting Bang Dani really deserves a thumbs up" praised Starla who also laughed.

"That means that if I'm casting a movie, it's acceptable, huh?" seloroh Dani's.

"Definitely! Then Bang Dani will be the artist."

"Let me think again," Dani replied in a joking tone.

Starla laughed, but in her heart there was a hint of uneasiness given her encounter with Reyhan earlier. He was afraid that it made the problem he was avoiding become even bigger and more complicated.

After finishing eating, Dani took Starla for a walk to Nongsa-Batam beach.

"Well, beach!" starla exclaimed when she saw a vast expanse of ocean stretching in front of her.

"This is called Nongsa beach, one of the must-visit tourist attractions when going to Batam," said Dani, then pointed to the other side of the ocean, "See it!"

Starla followed Dani's hand.

"That's Singapore, from here we can see the lights of the city. Nice right?" continue Dani.

"Yes, that's great, Bang," said Starla, who did not look surprised at all.

"You ever been to Singapore?" ask Dani.

Starla nodded, then shook her head, "Never, Bang."

"Sama, I was born just swirling around in Batam alone," Dani replied and laughed to himself.

Starla just smiled in response to Dani's remark, she was enjoying the gaze of the sea breeze blowing violently across her face and body. Looks like it's going to rain tonight.

Dani turned around and looked at Starla who was standing beside her, the wind blowing made the woman's hair fall apart and covered part of her beautiful face. Out of nowhere, Dani suddenly tidied Starla's hair and slipped it behind her ear.

Starla was a little surprised by Dani's actions, but she remained calm.

"I don't want the wind to make your hair cover this pretty face of yours" Dani said as she stared into Starla's face.

Starla was suddenly nervous and awkward, she turned her face away, "Bang Dani could have made my ears go up."

"I'm serious, Starla. You're beautiful, and I like you" Dani said without further ado.

Starla suddenly turned her head around, looking at Dani with a surprised look.

"Since we first met, I've been in love with you. And tonight I can't hold it anymore." Dani suddenly clasped Starla's hand.

"Starla, would you like to be my lover? I promise I will always make you happy" Dani continued expectantly.

Starla was stunned, she had not expected Dani to say that tonight.

Starla slowly pulls her hand from Dani's grasp until it breaks, "I'm sorry, Bang."

Dani's face immediately turned sad, her feelings so unpleasant.

"I know bang Dani's a good guy, but this is too soon, Bang. We still don't really know each other, and my feelings are just that you're a friend, nothing more. So I'm really sorry for not being able to accept Brother," Starla replied very carefully, she was afraid that Dani was angry for refusing the man's request.

"Bang Dani don't get mad, do you?"

Dani turned around and looked at Starla, "Why should I be angry? You have the right to reject me, and I accept that with the air."

Starla is confused, she is amazed at Dani's mature and wise attitude.

"But you must not forbid me to keep this feeling and try to seize your heart, because that is my right" Dani said firmly.

Starla gasped, she had not expected Dani to be so determined.

"Yes, don't bother my words earlier. I don't want anything to change after this, we're still friends as usual, right?" Dani ensured.

Starla who was still nervous and awkward nodded, "I-iya, Bang. We're still friends as usual."

Dani smiled again as she rubbed Starla's head, "Good girl!"

Starla is just unmoved with mixed feelings, she hopes her relationship with Dani does not turn out to be tenuous because of this. He still wants to be friends with that guy.

"Then let's go home!" take Dani.

"Yes, Bang."

Just a few steps Dani and Starla stepped up, the rain suddenly fell very heavily.

"Yes, it's raining" Starla complained.

"Sharp fast!" Dani immediately pulled Starla's hand and took the woman running towards a stall not far from the beach.

The two also took shelter under the stall along with some people who were also caught in the rain.

Starla's clothes were slightly wet and she hugged herself in the cold.

Seeing that, Dani took off her jacket and put it on Starla's body, "Wear this!"

Starla suddenly looked at Dani, "But then Brother who is cold!"

"I'm a boy, have to be strong!" cheers Dani while smiling.

Starla also smiled at Dani's joke, now she knows, what kind of person this man in front of her is.

In order to repel saturated waiting for the rain to subside, Dani also took out his phone, but damn because the flat object ran out of battery and died.

"Cckk, die again!" annoyed Dani, he put his phone back in his pants pocket.

Meanwhile at home, Deka was watching television, but since he just kept exchanging his channel, there was nothing interesting for him to watch. His eyes then glanced at the clock on the wall and it turned out to be eleven at night, making Deka feel a little restless because Dani and Starla had not yet returned home, especially outside the rain was very heavy.

"Where are they? Why haven't you come home?"
