41. Drunken.

After dinner, Deka and Dani and Starla gather in the living room. They chatted while enjoying the snack that Dani brought earlier.

"Where were you and Clarissa?" ask Dani.

"It's just dinner" Deka replied, while Starla just quietly listened with a slight annoyance.

Dani looked in full search, "When you only have dinner, you get home late at night?"

"Yes, just before coming home to stop at his friend Clarissa's bar for a while," Deka explained.

"So you went to the bar? I should have smelled alcohol from you."

"I only drink a little" Deka argued.

"Little or many, it's the same."

After discussing the bar, Deka remembered something he had left in the car. Deka also moved from his seat.

"Where are you going?" ask Dani wonder.

"There's something I want to take in the car" Deka said then stepped towards the exit.

"The Deka drinks alcohol a lot, huh?" starla whispers.

"Not often, just occasionally. Why why?"

Starla shook her head, "It's okay, I'm just asking."

The woman returned to flinch with relief, she was worried if Deka who suffered from PTSD often drank alcohol.

Shortly after, Deka returned while carrying a paper bag containing the red wine given by Vano earlier.

"What's that?" ask Dani curious.

"It's a birthday present from her friend Clarissa" Deka explained as she placed the paper bag in front of Dani.

The curious Dani immediately peeked at the contents of the paper bag.

"Well, there's red wine! Incidentally, we can party tonight!" yelled Dani while taking out a bottle of red wine.

"It's already at one in the morning, we should rest" Deka said.

"Come, Ka! Once we have fun, we can still."

"But tomorrow you have to work."

"Tomorrow my day shift, so be safe. Yuk, time to party!" said Dani spirit.

"I'll get you a glass first, Bang." Starla went into the kitchen.

Deka frowned looking at the woman who also looked excited.

Starla returned with three glasses and placed them on the table.

"Why are the glasses three?" ask Deka.

"There should be three of us, so the glass should be three" Starla said lightly.

"You want a drink too?" Deka asked again.

"Whoa, I'm going to party too" Starla replied.

Deka shook his head, "No-no! You can't drink!"

"What's the matter, Bang?"

"You know what this drink is? It's not good if you drink!"

"But I want to try it, I promise it won't be much" whined Starla.

"No!" reject Deka firmly.

"Let him try" Dani interrupted.

"But, Dan ...."

"Ka, stop! You take it easy, he's an adult" Dani cut, leaving Deka unable to continue with his words.

Deka sighed, "Come!"

Dani opened the bottle of red wine and poured the contents into their glasses.

"Come, toast!" yelled Dani while raising his glass.

Starla also raised her glass, except for Deka who only shook her head to see the behavior of her best friend.

"Come, Ka! A toast!" take Dani.

"Yes, Bang. I'm tired of this hand." Starla chimed.

"Reply for what?" ask Deka.

"Make our happiness. The hunted! This sore!" insist Dani.

He gave in and raised his glass.

"Cheers!" Dani and Starla.

They drank the red wine at the same time.

"I haven't had red wine in a long time" Dani said.

"Me too" said Starla who immediately closed her mouth when she realized she had slipped.

Deka and Dani look at him suspiciously.

"Hem, I-I mean just this time I'm drinking red wine," Starla quickly ralat.

"Oh, I think you've had a drink before" Dani said.

Starla laughed nervously, "Yes not yet!"

But Deka felt that something was strange, she was still staring at the woman with an indecipherable look in her eyes.

Dani and Starla were joking while enjoying Vano's red wine, while Deka herself was only watching the woman.

It was four o'clock in the morning, Dano and Starla were drunk, both on the couch.

Since then, Deka has forbidden Starla to drink, but Dani always denied it and instead invited the woman back toast. The upset deca finally let them get as drunk as they are today.

"I slept first, yeah. Don't wake me up" said Dani with eyes closed.

Deka just shook his head to see his friend who was drunk, then turned to look at Starla who had also closed his eyes, he then approached the woman.

"It's the result if you're stubborn" muttered Deka.

Deka carefully pulled Starla's body and helped her to sit down, "You should move into the room."

"I'm going to sleep, my head is dizzy" whined Starla with her eyes closed

"That's why don't pretend you want to drink if you don't, ever" Deka said.

"I used to drink while in Pacific Discotique, really," Starla said unconsciously.

Deka was surprised because Starla mentioned the name of the nightclub she and Clarissa had just visited earlier, suddenly her heart wondered.

Starla dropped herself back on the couch, "I'm going to sleep."

"Don't sleep here! Go, wakeup!" Deka pulled Starla back, but the woman seemed to have fallen asleep.

"Cckk, I can't possibly let him sleep here with Dani. I have to move him to the room."

Deka lifts Starla's body and takes her to her room.

"You're heavy too" Deka complained.

Deka laid Starla on the bed, making the distance of their faces very close. Deka was stunned, but she immediately moved away.

Deka then enveloped Starla's body, the woman wriggled and fell asleep again.

But before leaving, Deka looked at Starla's face with a full search.

"I feel like there's something you're covering for me" Deka murmured.
