45. Attentiveness.

Dani finally comes after a while ago Starla contacted him and told him what happened to Deka, the brown man was very panicked and anxious to hear bad news about his best friend, he who was working was immediately allowed to go home and rushed here.

Starla also had time to order some drugs to Dani, such as antibiotics, better pain medication as well as bleeding stop medication, antiseptic fluid and bandages.

Starla receives the plastic bag and checks its contents, making sure nothing goes wrong.

Dani nods and rushes upstairs, while Starla goes to the kitchen to get some water.

Dani knocked on the door of Deka's room but there was no answer let alone open the door, with Dani slowly opening the door and stepping in, apparently Deka was asleep due to the effects of painkillers that he had previously taken. Dani looked at Deka with a feeling of sadness mixed with anxiety, she was afraid that something bad happened to her best friend.

Carefully Dani sat on the edge of the bed, but apparently Deka woke up.

"I'm sorry I interrupted your sleep. How are you doing?"

"I'm good" Deka replied slowly.

Dani noticed the bandage on Deka's left chest that was red because her blood was still coming out, "The wound is still bleeding, why don't you go to the hospital?"

"And if I go to the hospital, the doctor will ask why. I can't possibly tell you the truth" the pretext of Deka.

"You can lie, just tell me about the accident or something" Dani suggested.

"Here you go, I'm fine. I don't need to go to the hospital" Deka argued.

"But Starla and I are worried about you, my father must be worried about knowing this."

Deka just flinching, he didn't reply to Dani's words.

"Ka, please don't be stubborn! It's for your own good."

Suddenly the door was knocked from the outside, Dani and Deka both turned towards the door.

"It must be Starla." Dani moved and opened the door.

Starla stood up with a plastic bag and a glass of water, "Bang, please give this medicine to Bang Deka! Keep cleaning the wound and replace the bandages with new ones."

"You did it" Dani said.

"But I can't go into her room" Starla said.

"Just enter!"

"Can, Bang?" Starla.

Starla stepped into Deka's room, the masculine scent immediately smelled, she was stunned and amazed because the Deka room was so luxurious and neat, even though she never cleaned it at all.

Starla approached Deka who was lying on the bed, the man looked at her with a pale face and my eyes.

"How's Brother doing?" Starla asked as she put down the glass she was carrying, then sat down beside Deka.

"It's gone" said deka.

Dani just stood behind Starla and watched the two.

Starla checks the bandage on Deka's chest, she feels anxious because it turns out that the man's wound is still bleeding.

"By taking this medicine first, I told Bang Dani to buy it."

"Here I help you sit." Dani immediately sprightly helped Deka to sit and lean.

Starla cautiously helped Deka take the bleeding-stopping medication and antibiotics.

"I'll replace the bandage" Starla said.

He opened the bandage on Deka's chest that was already wet with blood, Dani was stunned when she saw the wound on her best friend's chest.

"The wound is pretty bad, Ka. You'd better go to the hospital, don't think about anything" Dani suggested.

"I said no, so stop telling me to go to the hospital!" the annoyed Deka.

Dani and Starla looked at each other, they were completely inexhaustible with Deka's stubbornness. But Dani prefers not to reply to his best friend.

Starla refocused on Deka, she cleaned the blood around Deka's wounds with antiseptic liquid and cotton, making the man grimace in pain.

"It hurts, huh, Bang? Hold on a little, it's gonna be over, all right." Starla spoke as she continued to wash Deka's wounds carefully.

For a moment Deka was stunned staring at the woman, she felt a strange tremor when the distance of their faces was so close like this.

After the wound was clean, he then closed it again with a new bandage.

"It has. Now you can go back to sleep, but the position of the body must be higher," said Starla while moving and away from Deka.

Deka flinched and immediately turned her gaze to Dani, "And, please help me lie down!"

Dani moved closer to Deka and placed some pillows so that Deka's body and head were higher, then helped her friend lie down.

"Then I go out first" said Starla.

"Yes, thank you, yes," Dani replied, while Deka just shook her eyes at the woman with an indecipherable look.

Starla just nodded then passed away from Deka's room.
