27. Deka Galau's.

Twelve o'clock at night and the rain had stopped, Dani and Starla finally arrived home. Hearing the sound of Dani's motorbike, Deka who had been anxious rushed out.

"Why is it so long?" deka Sergah.

"Rain, Ka. So we took shelter first," Dani replied with a trembling voice, she who only wears a t-shirt felt cold.

"You can go home before it rains."

"The rain didn't say where we knew he was going down" Dani said.

Deka did not reply, he turned to look at Starla who was wearing Dani's jacket and sighed softly. Without saying a word, Deka breezed in leaving Dani and Starla still standing on the porch of his house.

"He's like my dad!" lamented Dani.

"Maybe he's worried because we're coming home last night, Bang," Starla said.

"When did he get anxious? As far as I know he never cared about anyone else" Dani argued.

"That's someone else, but she must be worried about her best friend" Starla said.

"That's impossible!"

"Maybe."

"That's it, just let him!" Dani whimpers, "yuk, come in! It's cold in here."

Starla smiles and steps in with Dani, but they don't find Deka anywhere.

"Where is he?" ask Starla.

"The most in his room."

"Then I make some warm tea for Brother."

"No need! You rest, it's late at night. I can do it myself later" Dani refused.

"It's okay, Bang. I can rest after making some warm tea for Brother." Starla insists.

"Then I fall more and more in love with you" Dani said as she pinched Starla's nose.

"Ih, sick, Bang Dani!" Starla brushed off the man's hand and rushed into the kitchen.

"The start is a little, because the make is already sweet," he jokes Dani then laughs, the warm attitude of the man does not change even though his love has just been rejected by Starla.

"Buck!" starla from the kitchen.

From upstairs Deka noticed the two men's behavior without their knowledge, for some reason she felt a little upset. Not wanting Dani or Starla to see his whereabouts there, Deka decides to enter the room.

After finishing Starla's warm tea, Dani entered Deka's room, looking cold man was lying on the bed playing mobile phone.

"You haven't slept?" ask Dani.

"Why don't you come home?" The back asked.

"It's late at night and it's cold outside, I'll just stay here" Dani replied.

Deka did not answer, Dani has often stayed at his house.

"Borrow clothes, my shirt is damp." Dani approaches Deka's wardrobe and opens it, she's used to doing that and Deka doesn't mind.

"You're still keeping it carelessly" Dani protested when she saw Deka's gun lying in the closet, "keep it somewhere safer!"

"That's the safest place" Deka said indifferently.

"Where what? What if someone else comes in and opens the closet? For example, Starla, she must be afraid to see a gun."

"You are always hard to say" grumbled Dani, while replacing his damp shirt with a Deka's shirt.

After changing clothes, Dani slammed herself next to Deka.

"There was a funny incident" Dani said suddenly.

"What incident?" Deka asked without looking at Dani, her eyes still focused on the phone screen.

"When we were at Anchor Cafe, there was a man chasing after Starla."

Deka suddenly turned his head to face Dani, "Who?"

"Said Starla, he was one of the accomplices of the human trafficking syndicate at that time. It looks like they're still going after him, so it's dangerous that he's out of the house alone" Dani said.

Deka's heart suddenly felt anxious mixed with rage, wanting it to feel like he was looking for the man and beating him to stop harassing Starla's life.

"Then what happens next?" Deka.

"We ran away, chasing the man. But I managed to teach him a lesson."

Deka frowned, waiting for Dani to continue her story.

Dani also recounted the incident at the mosque earlier while laughing.

"Great me, right? Dani wants to be fought!" dani said proudly after finishing telling the story.

Deka smiled faintly, she knew Dani's cunning and ingenious brainpower, sometimes even the idea that came out of her best friend's mind could be beyond reason.

"So that's why you guys came home long ago?"

"No, after that we ate, then I took Starla to Nongsa Beach, but it was raining."

"So you take him to the beach at night?"

Dani nodded, "Yes, I expressed my feelings for her there."

Deka gasped, his heart immediately pounding at the words that came out of Dani's mouth.

"But rejected," continued Dani sadly.

Deka was surprised, there was a feeling of pity mixed with relief in his heart.

"She said we didn't know each other very well, but I'm not going to give up, I'm going to keep trying to get her love" Dani said.

Deka remained silent, his feelings were mixed and he did not know what to comment.

"Ka, I confided, you just shut up! What's up, anyway?" dani protested because Deka was flirting.

Deka shook his head, "No, no! I just feel amazed at you."

Dani knitted his eyebrows together, "Awe why?"

"After being rejected, you can still act ordinary, as if you are shameless," he mocked to divert the atmosphere.

Dani immediately kicked Deka's leg, "Fuck, you! It's good that I'm not shameless! I was just being airy, although rejected we can still be friends. And I swear I'll make him fall in love with me!"

Deka shrugged both shoulders indifferently, and refocused himself on the screen, "We'll see, I'm not sure."

Dani grumbled and sneered at Deka, but the cold man ignored her.

Honestly Deka felt upset, but he tried to act ordinary. Deka still did not expect Dani really serious to Starla, he had thought Dani was just a fad on the woman, because he knew the friend was a playboy.
