11.2 [Lyra] Intermediary

It's been a week, but Rhea and Mei are still like that, keeping each other at a distance. I can only be the mediator of both. Be on Rhea's side when the child needs a friend or be on Mei's side when she's alone.

I had told Kak Eza about this, but his response did not provide a solution at all.

"Still thinking about Rhea same Mei?"

I quickly nodded, the matter regarding Rhea and Mei still lingered in my mind.

"There is no need to think, really what Eza said. They are great, they can certainly solve the problem themselves. Maybe they need time." Said Bryan advising me.

"That's what I said. Let them first, if it's time they'll be better again. Trust me the same." Eza added excitedly, because Bryan sided with him.

I am currently with two stiff men at the cafe in front of the campus. Tumben once emang, they have free time to just hang out like this.

"No way, believe the same you're lost, brother."

Right after I finished speaking, a used tissue hit my face. And it's Arieza, my beloved sister.

"Sister Eza is slovenly, that's filthy geez."

Sister Eza kicked me out, because I was too noisy in her opinion. I only occasionally chimed in on their conversations. And Sister Eza is even noisier than I am.

"Yes, I went back to college. I have class in half an hour."

I cleaned my bag and walked out of the cafe. Let Kak Eza and Kak Bryan continue the discussion that was delayed because of my arrival earlier.

Fortunately, I entered the class on time, before the lecturer who taught matkul today entered. If I get late, I may be asked to close the door from the outside alias expelled from class and can not take a quiz.

Speaking of quizzes, I forgot not to prepare material for reading. Hopefully not too difficult.

"The quiz will start in five minutes, please reference and keep records."

Mr. Hendra gave us a cue to prepare and tidy up our belongings, especially books.

"Now please do it, your time is only one hour." Said Mr. Hendra after sharing a quiz question sheet.

When quizzes like this, it feels like time is going too fast. An hour is less. But fortunately the material made quiz is material that is quite easy to remember. So I didn't take long.

Fifteen minutes before the time runs out, I have completed all the questions and write the answers on the answer sheet provided.

I was the first to leave class. I excitedly walked to the canteen.

Ah yes, along the hall I still think about the problem of Rhea and Mei. I'm sure they have a problem that is deliberately hidden from me.

I walked quickly and even half ran after reading the message Zayn had sent. Honestly, after reading the message, it didn't feel calm at all.

I tried to get to the FIB Canteen as fast as I could. I wish I could mediate them. But it turns out I was late.

In front of me now, Rhea, Mei and Kara became the center of attention of all the residents of the canteen. I don't know what happened behind the crowd. But I could faintly hear the voices of Rhea and Kara arguing with each other.

All I know is, just as I managed to crack open among the crowd. I saw Rhea crying. Though all this time as sad and angry as Rhea, she would never show her crying. But today, Kara managed to make Rhea cry like that.

I intend to break them up, mediate their debate as it has been. But Zayn held me. He didn't let me interfere.

"How serious? There's no way we're being fucked." I said quickly with a significant panic tone.

"Call Bang Bryan. Ask Bang Eza for help. He can make this crowd disperse and we can break them."

Without being ordered twice, I immediately called Brother Bryan as Zayn had requested before. Luckily Bryan answered my call.

"Sister, please Brother Eza is sent to the FIB cafeteria now,"

"Good,"

Brother Bryan only said briefly and immediately disconnected my phone.

Not long after, I saw Brother Eza coming and alone. He immediately burst out among the crowd.

"Udah enough, now you come with me." I could faintly hear Brother Eza speaking softly to Rhea.

"Zayn, I'm picking up May. Please get her out of here."

I asked Zayn to take Mei away, because to be honest I was afraid of Kara's angry look.

But Eza immediately pulled Rhea away from the cafeteria without caring for Kara's angry gaze. He really doesn't care about Kara at all and puts Rhea first.

Without waiting to be asked, I immediately followed Brother Eza away from the place, leaving Mei who was still with Kara. Let Zayn do as I ask.

I followed Brother Eza from behind, but I still did not dare to just reprimand the two. I let Brother Eza take Rhea in the car and wait until Sister Eza excuses me to enter.

Only after Sister Eza got out of the car again, I dared to approach and ask about Rhea.

"Rhea how? I'm his best friend, but I didn't know he had this problem. I should've taken Rhea, but I could only stay quiet in the crowd watching the cafeteria." I said I was sorry.

Brother Eza immediately hugged me, letting me spill my worries and regret for not knowing about the problems of my two best friends.

"Gakpapa Dek, this is not your fault. It's their choice not to tell the same story." Said Brother Eza while stroking my head gently.

I nodded in the arms of Brother Eza. Because I want to regret like anything, all of that has happened.

"Sister, justin Mei there and titipin she's the same Zayn, doesn't mean I don't care the same Mei right sister?"

I asked for validation, Brother Eza, if my actions were not wrong. I left Mei on Zayn that was not the wrong thing.

"Lyra, baby, your actions are not wrong. Zayn must take care of Mei, Kara will certainly not macem-macem the same Mei." Sahut Kak Eza's.

Thanks to Brother Eza, I can calm down a little now. I am no longer too worried because my two best friends are guarded by two people I trust.

"Gue hoped, hopefully after this Rhea and Mei would no longer be hostile to each other and the relationship between the three of us returned as usual. And hopefully there won't be another incident like this one day."

I said in my heart, I hope my hope will come true. Because I didn't want to, the circle of friendship that had been tight suddenly became tenuous or even broke up.
