Chapter 99. Zahwa's helper

"Ma.... Mama don't joke. What operation Ma? Zahwa was fine." Rey frowned, because when he drove Zahwa to the hospital his wife was fine.

"Rey mama's not kidding baby, now your wife's in surgery. He was stabbed by a madman who messed up in the hospital,"

When Rey's face paled, she hung up the phone and whispered to Niko. "Stop the meeting, I have to go to the hospital!"

"Good sir."

Without further ado, Rey immediately left the meeting room with a tense face and went to the hospital. On the way, Rey looks worried about something happening to his wife. He even drove his car at high speed.

"Nemo..are you okay, baby? You're okay, right?" muttered Rey agitated while holding the steering wheel.

A few minutes later, Rey arrived at the hospital. He ran through the hallway of the ER and right at the end of the hall he saw Diana there.

"Rey..." Diana sobbed and hugged Rey as soon as her son got there. Diana's hand held onto Zahwa's bloody belongings.

"Ma..why is Zahwa? How could Zahwa be stabbed?" cecar Rey asked her mother anxiously.

"Let's hear you say there's a madman angry with Dr. Ervan, and Zahwa and Zainab are there and trying to stop the madman, he's raging on doctor Ervan's stabbing and Zahwa's stabbing as well. I heard it happened, God..." Diana held onto her chest, it felt like she couldn't see Zahwa bleeding like that.

Rey was silent, in contrast to her unsettled heart. He stared at the operating room whose lights were still on. "God, save my wife, may my wife be well." murmured Rey anxiously, rubbing her face violently.

But his anxiety increased when he saw the Zahwa bag in Diana's hand. The bag was covered in blood. Rey's heart drifted somewhere, wanting her to get into the operating room right now but she still had to keep her cool.

"Zahwa must be fine, Ma, she..." Rey smiled with tears streaming down her face.

"Yes.certainly..."

"Oh yeah, did the hospital call the police?" rey asked with a look of annoyance considering the figure of a madman who hurt his wife.

"It's Rey, even that guy's been arrested. He said he did have a history of psychiatric illness." explained Diana with a sad face.

Diana and Rey waited in front of the operating room uneasily, until 10 minutes later Amayra came there after Diana told her about Zahwa.

"Sister..." Amayra approached Diana worriedly. He immediately rushed from school and went to the hospital and he was escorted by Arga.

"May,"

"How is Zahwa? Zahwa where's sister?"

"Zahwa is still in the operating room, the doctor is operating on her" Diana replied as she held Amayra's hand while calming her down.

"Oh God..." Amayra held onto her chest, her legs feeling weak all of a sudden. Luckily Rey supported Amayra's body and helped her sit on the chair.

"Oh Ma, Zahwa will be fine" Rey told her mother-in-law.

"Yes...Zahwa must be fine.yes Allah..Just right my feelings were not good since this morning." muttered Amayra restless.

Shortly after, a doctor came out of the operating room, along with Zahwa, who was taken out on a gurney by 2 sisters. The woman was still unconscious.

"Darling..." Rey held his wife's hand restlessly, looking at the pale beautiful face anxiously.

"Sorry sir, doctor Zahwa will be transferred to the treatment room first. You can meet her there" a nurse told Rey.

Rey nodded her head, seeing her taken to the ward. Instead of following his wife, he first asked the doctor about Zahwa's situation. Diana and Amayra were also curious about Zahwa's situation.

"Dok, how's my wife doing?" ask Rey to the doctor.

"Alhamdulillah.the operation went well even though Zahwa's doctor was in a critical condition, bleeding and losing a lot of blood. It's lucky that someone who donated blood so quickly to Zahwa's doctor and Zahwa's doctor survived in time" the doctor told Rey, Diana and Amayra.

"Oh.he is-"

Not yet had the doctor finish his speech, from inside the operating room looks middle-aged man in the butt of a nurse, the man looks weak.

Upon seeing that person, Rey immediately stared at him sharply as well as Diana and Amayra. "Pack Dyed?"

Why is he here?. Diana thought the not-so.

"So you saved my wife?" asked Rey cynically and chiefly to her own father.

"Oh so you know Mr. Dimas? He is a janitor at this hospital, especially the ER ward" explained doctors in Rey, Diana and Amayra.

Dimas looked helpless and his face was pale, he even lowered his head in a hearty manner. He could feel the sharp and piercing gazes of the three Calabrian family members.

Zahwa's ward.

The woman opened her eyes slowly, after nearly 4 hours she was unconscious from the drugs. His stomach still feels sore, his body weak and he can feel there is an infusion tube in his hand.

Even in his left hand he felt a soft hand holding it. "Son? Are you human yet? Praise be to Allah..." Amayra was relieved to see that Zahwa had opened his eyes.

"Ma.ma.ma.." lirih Zahwa is weak.

"You wait a minute, I'll call the doctor!"

Zahwa held his mother's hand. "Ma, Mum...Where's rey?"

"Your husband is going to the police station again, maybe he'll be back soon. She's so worried about you Zahwa, she just left a few minutes ago, she's been with you here." Amayra smiled, then left her son in the room and went out to call the doctor.

When Zahwa was alone, two people entered the room. Aini and Zayn, they immediately approached Zahwa who had awakened. "Zahwa! Are you still a human? Praise be to Allah.... Thank goodness..." Zayn held onto his chest which was relieved to see his sister was awake.

"We are so worried about you! Oh, my God, that's a real madman, make a gedeg!" chirp Aini who was furious with the attack that happened to her best friend.

Zahwa only smiled faintly, he could not say much due to suffocation and his stomach was still sore.

Shortly after, the doctor came with Amayra and examined Zahwa's condition. There were Zayn, Aini and Diana as well.

Doctors said Zahwa was fine and had only a few days to recover. Forced Zahwa to take time off work even though he did not want to because everyone forced him.

Meanwhile, at the police station, Rey is taking care of the man who injured his wife. He doesn't want the man to escape punishment just because he's crazy, Rey wants the man to be punished for what he did.

"Okay, sir, take it easy, of course we will process this matter fairly."

"I hope so sir, I don't want this guy to be free for crazy reasons. He had to pay for what he did to hurt my wife" Rey said mercilessly.

"Okay sir, we get it." replied the policeman, nodding his head.

"And Lo! Get close here and don't go anywhere! I'll make the same calculation Lo!" point Rey with full anger at the man named Dito.

Rey's phone vibrated in her pocket, and she immediately picked up a call from Zayn. "Waalaikumsalam Zayn, what is it?.......Zahwa is already human?......... okay, I must be there."

After receiving a call from his sister-in-law, Rey leaves the police station and heads to the hospital where his wife is being treated. On the way home, he saw something that could make his wife happy.

"Nemo must be glad I brought that,"
