Chapter 22. Reason Salimah

The first time Salimah saw Zayn, she was already in love. It happened when Salimah was in X Class High School, she was in class with Zayn. Zayn is a handsome man with pure white skin who has two sweet dimples on his cheeks, he is intelligent, he is similar to his father Satria. Salimah admired Zayn secretly and was determined to make Zayn his priest.

All the ways Salimah did in order to be close to the man of his heart. He followed Zayn's exculpation, being in the same class as Zayn, joining the osis. But it turns out his efforts are not easy, Zayn did not show any interest in him at all. Is it possible because Zayn's a bitch? He's not nice to everyone, except the people closest to him.

Then a shadow casts his dream away with Zayn. When a beautiful woman who has a twinkle of vile eyes, comes to Zayn's class. She is Kalimah Zahwa Jawharah, who turns out to be the younger sister of Zayn, her twin brother. And Zahwa was close to his half-sister, Raihan's brother. Honestly, Salimah is not close to Raihan because they may be different mothers. But Salimah gets close to Raihan and Zahwa when she learns that her brother has a relationship with Zahwa.

Repeatedly Salimah tries to break up Zahwa and Raihan's relationship. By demonizing the figure of Zahwa in the eyes of Raihan, but Raihan remained firm in his stance. She believes in Zahwa and likes him so much that he has the intention of marrying Zahwa.

Finally Salimah took a step that would probably make him hated by everyone, namely doing slander. Whereas in the letter of Al-Baqarah verse 191, Allah expressly mentions that slander is more cruel than murder. So we must fight slander and lies, and never turn ourselves away from the truth. Salimah knew it but she did it to Zahwa because it felt like it was Zayn.

Evil indeed!

But women do always use feelings in comparison to logic, right? Because it was that feeling that made Salimah make mistakes and vile slander and not only cause disgrace. But the slander is no ordinary slander because the man in the photo with Zahwa, indeed really came to Zahwa's room and that person was Reyndra, the people he invites work together to destroy his brother and Zahwa's marriage.

No matter what he wants to be stamped on or bad, as long as he can make Zayn his priest one day, he will do anything. But does Salimah know that all these ways are wrong and even make him hated by all the Zayn family?

Yes that's the reason Salimah, why she wanted so much to keep Zahwa away from Raihan.

Zahwa was taken to the ER room by Rey, the man immediately called the doctor with a frenzy. As if the white-hijab girl was seriously injured, several nurses were there to hold back laughter at Rey's attitude.

"Doctor! Please doc! Please my brother!" said panic.

"Yes sir, calm down sir" said a male doctor, smiling and preparing to check on Zahwa.

"Sister, don't be shy!" lamented Selina who was also ashamed of her brother's attitude.

When the man's doctor was about to hold Zahwa's hand, Rey's sharp eyes and Rey's screams suddenly distanced him. "Doctor! No!"

Why would there be such a young doctor? Bull again! But keep my arm, anyway.

"Sister, brother why the hell? He said I should be treated." Zahwa looked at her brother.

"The doctor is a female doctor, not a muhrim! Don't hold a guy, change doctors!" decisively.

"Sorry doc, the doctor changed it to a girl doctor!" rey said politely to the man's doctor.

How could I let another man hold your hand.

"Geez is very possessive, your future husband is Zahwa." chirped the doctor who did not know that Rey is his cousin's sister. That made Zahwa and Selina choke. But Rey? He just sat there sweet and relaxed, not arguing and not saying anything.

"Aamiin." muttered Rey in her small voice, she silently smiled. Selina looked up at him.

Rey just said aamiin, right? Why does Rey keep smiling?. Selina frowned, she realized that there was something strange about her brother. But Zahwa didn't realize it because he was focused on the young doctor in front of him.

"Astagfireullah! No. Doc.Sister Rey is not my future husband, he's my brother, my cousin's brother." Zahwa finally clarifies his relationship with Rey.

"Geez! So I guessed wrong? Sorry I'm sorry.She's so possessive really the same," chuckled the doctor as he chuckled, then the young doctor went and called the female doctor as requested by Rey.

Moments later, the female doctor came and checked Zahwa's condition. The doctor treated the wound on Zahwa's hand, nothing serious with the wound except the wound out there.

"Where is doc? Why wasn't Zahwa's hand bandaged?"

"Not really serious, doc?" rey asked again with a worried face.

Once again Selina caught the strange attitude of her sister to Zahwa. Isn't Rey's attitude exaggerated to Zahwa? Like the attitude of a lover?

Selina knew from the beginning that Rey was always attentive to all her sisters because she was indeed a loving sister, but why now since her brother returned from Singapore, the attention was different but to Zahwa only.

Ah no way! Rey doesn't like that much Zahwa. I'm just too much.

"Sel, what's wrong with you? How are those head bobbles?" zahwa asked astonished to see Selina shaking her head.

"Hehe, I'm fine brother. We eat no, right? I'm hungry!" Selina held onto her stomach, her eyes incessantly watching Rey's movements.

Finally the three of them came out of the ER room. That's when they met Zainab and Salimah who were there. Zainab smiled, then she said her greetings with an eye on Rey.

"Assynolt,"

"Waalaikumsalam" replied Selina, Rey and Zahwa.

"Mas, do you remember I didn't?" suddenly Zainab asked Rey with a bright smile.

Zahwa caught something on Zainab's face. He said Zainab already had someone she liked, so she refused to be betrothed to Raihan. Is that Rey? Thought in the heart.

"What'sthis? Do you know Zainab's brother?"

Rey frowned, again her face was flat with no feeling when she looked at another woman other than Zahwa or her family. "Not knowing."

Zainab was struck when she heard Rey's reply. Meanwhile Salimah tries to persuade Zainab to have her lunch with him. Zainab refuses, she still wants to talk to Rey.

"Mas, do you really not remember me? I was the woman who was-"

"I'm sorry, I don't know who you are. But I don't have time for this. Zahwa, Selina, let's go!" invite Rey to his two younger siblings, he was very indifferent to Zainab and make Zainab sad.

Salimah sighed softly, she showed her surprise when she saw Rey's current figure in front of other women besides Zahwa and Selina.

Whoa! I think he really likes Zahwa, a beautiful girl like Zainab aja he cuekin. Very strong faith.

Really am!

Zahwa doesn't like Rey's attitude towards Zainab. Zahwa took the initiative to go first with Selina and leave Rey with Zainab so they could chat.

"Zahwa! Seline! Where are you going?!" rey asked her two sisters. Then he looked at Zainab who was still standing there coldly.

While Salimah who consciously brought her presence there only became a mosquito repellent, she finally decided to go from there.

"Where have we met?"

"Euhh.it was mas-" suddenly Zainab was nervous and could not arrange the handsome man who was in front of her.

"Sorry, I don't have much time. Soon I have to go to the office" Rey said, looking at the watch in her left hand.

"Well, I-I can ask for a phone number, Mom!" she handed her phone to Rey.

The man looked at her fixedly with a cold gaze as usual. Rey took a long breath.
