"I don't know what fate God is giving me, or God wants to play with my feelings by presenting himself"

— Nayla Princess Adelia —

.

.

I spent time reading books in the library looking for reference material for novels. I've had a few glasses of caffeine, a few novels I've finished reading, and I haven't come up with an idea.

“Excuse me... Excuse me. Library is closing,” a woman told me.

“Aa... I'll go now,” I hurry to put the laptop in the bag, and step out of the library.

The vehicle was still crowded, because it was late afternoon, there were new people coming home from work and some were doing other activities.

When a writer runs out of ideas, he or she will feel frustrated.

The clock is 16:39pm. I choose to walk instead of ride, because I think more when I walk. I daydreamed too much, not realizing that behind me was a biker and grabbed the bag I was using.

“Copet...” I shouted while running after the motorcyclist.

I was trying to catch up with that biker, it sucks that no one helped me chase or help me.

Bad breath from chasing the pickpocket, fortunately I saw them again in front of a convenience store while holding my bag.

“Finally I got you, you nutty,” I said while hitting the man. “Give me my bag,” I said again while reclaiming my bag. “Basic maling,” I said again while hitting the man.

“A... Aaa... Aa..” the man whimpered. “Not me the pickpocket,” said the man.

"Had been caught off guard, but still lying,” I said as I hit the man again.

“What are you doing?”

A man came with a canned drink. I still keep hitting that guy.

“Ah, so you guys stop here and pretend to buy a drink,” I said. “Cop..”

Suddenly my mouth could not scream because it was closed by the man I hit earlier.

“We just check CCtv there,” said the man's friend.

I'm looking at what they're doing to see CCtv footage, thankfully the store has a Cctv camera.

Flushed face, and looking away is the right choice, because it is so ashamed to accuse the wrong person. Though that guy has helped me to take back my bag which was taken by the two thugs.

I felt like I was laughing at them, or they could take me to the police station for hitting an innocent man.

“I'm sorry... Your clothes are the same,” said Nayla.

Nayla could smell the gunpowder from the bodies of the two men.

“Not that I told you, we should not wear clothes like this anymore,” said his friend. “Please the mask, we are really like thugs,” said his friend as he opened the mask of his friend.

“You...”.

I was so surprised to see the man who took off his mask.

“Cowok the goose..” I said suddenly because I remembered the incident when he was chased by a goose and threw himself into the river.

His friend who heard what I just said laughed out loud at the name I used. Seen, the man's face was so red blushing, probably because he was ashamed I said that.

“Ah, I'm sorry,” said Nayla.

“Stop laughing,” the man said to his friend with a dislike look. Definitely do not like, who would like to be ridiculed with such a title.

“Sorry... Excuse me... Looks like you guys have something to discuss. I will wait in the parking lot,” said his friend, while leaving us both.

Maybe he wanted to make room for me and his friend to talk.

“Alan Aditya Rasya, just call Rasya,” said the man introduced himself.

“Hm. Cool name for a face like her, fit in,” I said. “Nayla, Nayla Princess Adelia,” said I introduced myself to her. “Em. About the incident earlier, I'm really sorry,” I said again while lowering my face. “And, I'm also sorry about the incident in the park for laughing at you. I know if it's wrong, but..”

The man laughed. I don't know what made him laugh.

“I'm serious,” I said while putting on a face not liking what he did.

Who wouldn't be upset, when we're talking seriously, suddenly in a laugh, what's funny about what we're saying.

“Discover your Phone,” he said as he reached out his hand.

I still feel weird when he asks for my phone.

“What would he do, if I hadn't hit him earlier, I would have gone straight away leaving this man,” I'm inward.

I also gave him his phone.

“I will call you,” he said while giving my phone back then go away my death which is still pecking about, what he actually did inside my phone.

When I looked back at my phone, I saw him sending a message to a number and he named it Alan. The number he keeps is his own number.

I saw him chatting with his friend, I don't know what they were talking about, a moment later left.

“Ah. Fortunately, the laptop is still found,” I said as I stroked the bag. There is nothing more valuable than the contents in it, laptop, ipad, and mobile phone that I used to write.

.

.

The bathroom is a favorite place after a day of activity, especially surrounded by candles soothing therapeutic aroma, and buthtub filled with warm water makes me comfortable, and eliminates fatigue in my body.

Since then, my phone always vibrates whether who sent me a chat or who called at a clock like this.

I saw some incoming calls from the editor and a message from a rather unfamiliar name, Alan.

Alan's? Alan who? Did I ever know him? Stupid question, and I don't remember if I ever made contact in that name on my phone.

Contact hpku, only consists of 5 contacts, editor, campus administration, lecturer, laura, and brother.

Alan : “Have arrived home?”

Me : “This is Alan who?”

Alan : “You hit me this afternoon,”

Only then did I remember that he was the man who had saved my precious treasure—laptop.

There was some chat conversation between the two of us, until it ended in a chat I had to extract him to eat as my gratitude, and two more days was the dinner plan.

.

.

I chose polite clothes, as I always wear. Definitely jeans, t-shirts, and jackets.

It felt like I had been waiting for the arrival of the man for an hour, but had not yet come.

“I'm sorry, I have to go now,” she said, making me surprised because she said cancel dinner we both had.

“I have urgent needs. Because you promised to treat me. I will win it when I go home,” he said as he revived his bike, then left me who was still sculpting without him hearing what I wanted to say.

The man disappeared from my arms.

.

.

I was packing my clothes, when I decided to look for reference materials by volunteering in one of the remote places.

“Nayla. Are you seriously going to leave me and go there?” Laura asked while taking out the clothes I had placed in the suitcase.

“I have to go, you have a course you have to finish,” I said as I rubbed his head.

“Can you not go?” ask her with a spoiled tone.

“I have to go,” I said.

The plane I'm boarding will leave at 7 a.m.

Some people were getting ready at the airport, and we took a long trip to get there.

When the plane had landed, we were picked up by some TNI members using their cars.

Along the way all that is visible is the forest, the ocean, and the natural atmosphere is very beautiful! I have captured that moment several times.

About 100 meters away, a Kam was seen, several tents had stood up. Some people were transporting equipment and other items.

I saw a stranger walking towards me. The man who a few months ago said there was an important affair, turned out to be in this place with Army clothes.

I puffed my cheeks when he spoke as if he didn't know me.

The clothes that were in the suitcase, I was tidying up in the place of the clothes they had prepared. I was bored because of that.

“Nayla...” a voice surprised me, and this voice seemed familiar. This voice belonged to Aufal.

“Aufal,” I was surprised to see Aufal at the Border. “How are you here?” I asked when I saw the man.

“Aaa. I'm a medical volunteer here,” said Aufal. “Laura definitely does not allow you to volunteer,” Aufal said. “And you insisted on coming here,” said Aufal again as if knowing everything about me.

“Yes like that,” my answer is short.

About a few minutes we were both chatting, although I didn't really want to talk to him.

“Nothing, dodging continues is not a good thing,” I said deeply.

.

.

A beautiful view for a place in the interior and borders. Cool air, as far as the eye can see, is only green nature, as if untouched by the hand of human ignorance

“So the urgent thing you mean is guarding the border?” I said to someone standing by the beach. “Captain Raysa,” I said again.

“Em. I should have told you about..”

“No need, I already knew when you helped get my bag. Even your clothes back then were gunpowder. I assumed it smelled gunpowder because you were a cop. But, the police did not have a strong smell of gunpowder. Unlike soldiers who at all times train with bombs and shooting drills,” I said.

We chatted on the sand while enjoying the beautiful ocean that stretched in plain sight.

“Who was the man who spoke to you earlier?” ask Rasya.

“Oh. He's Aufal, medical officer,”

“You know him?”

“Em. Very familiar. “She's my ex-boyfriend,” I said to surprise Rasya.

“Former girlfriendr?”

“Iya Former Girlfriend,” says Nayla. “She was married 3th ago. I don't know if he's here to be a medical leased. We met a month ago at a school reunion,”, Nayla said. “Ah! Sorry, I'm so confiding in you,"

“In addition to your profile as a Volunteer, I was given a document why you are here,”

“Hhmm... I came here to get to know more closely the lives of the soldiers here. I can't write if I don't look through the perspective of one society,” I said.

“So yes. Worth it, you're afraid of losing your laptop because you don't want the script inside missing,”

“Actually, I want to ask for your help during my time here,”

“Help?”

“I was demanded to write a romantic novel,” I said stammeringly.

“Just sue them,” Rasya said.

“I can't. After all, maybe those who read my novel are a bit bored with the genre I write,” Nayla said.

“Because of that... Be my girlfriend..”.

All of a sudden, I said like it embarrassed me at the same time. Maybe that guy I was with, thinking I was crazy for shooting him the first day I came.

“Eeemmm... Until I finish writing,” I say stammering.

Rasha laughing. It made me cover my face in shame for what he said. Suddenly he told me his secret, and asked for help.

“I have a secret,” said Raysa. “That secret is, I'm allergic to women,” Raysa told me.

“But you're not allergic to me,” I said curiously.

“Iya, that's weird. I'm not allergic to you, I'm not even afraid of you. At first I wanted to ask for help so you could help me cure my illness. Only you and one of my friends know this,” said Raysa.

“OK. We are equally profitable. I help you heal diseases, I help you write novels. There's nothing to lose. We both benefit,” I said agree.

“Enough 3months only,” Rasya said. “And no one can fall in love,” says Raysa.

“Hhmm... Are we filming a drama Full House? Making a contract cannot fall in love,” I said jokingly. “What he watched most dramas, until he said like that,” said I made up.

What just happened, about the contract, only I was with him knowing that. It was in accordance with the agreement at the beginning. And I wouldn't violate that, either.
