7 Days With Althara

The next day I went back to my cafe to check on the work of the artisans who were almost done composing chairs and tables there. That day Althara still has work, the promise to meet with his client in Jakarta departed this morning and he said only briefly maybe until the afternoon and immediately picked me up at the cafe.

It's already night time. And it was raining so hard that night with lightning that was gripping around the cafe.

Althara called me when I was about to unpack my new stuff in the middle of the Cafe.

“Alhena. Wait for me in a moment yes, heavy rain and there was an accident on the toll” said Althara so frantically.

“Iya Althara I am still here” said I am still busy unpacking my stuff.

Suddenly the sound of lightning so loud it made me and Althara surprised.

“Great rain you do not come out, wait until I come” pinta Althara so worried her.

Then I hung up the phone and got back to finishing my job.

That night was so cold. But luckily I wear a long cream shirt and long black cotton pants at the cafe. I had a chance to meet with Papa's friends here so I asked Papa to dress as formally as possible to meet with the important person who will help permit the construction of the Cafe. And my clothes already looked like such a graceful big boss. With beautiful hair in the booth and wear high heels.

“Mu we go home first ya” said a handyman who looks ready to go home.

“Ga will wait for rain to subside pack?” Ask me who really still wants to be with them until Althara comes.

“Ngga mom. Because my wife is worried if I have not returned home” said the middle-aged builder.

“Iya bu my son also has nanyain continue” said another man with a look of pity.

I was so confused and scared because I would be living alone in the Cafe with the rain still so heavy.

“Yes it's okay. Fathers all come home aja” said me with a heavy heart but I should not be selfish asking them to accompany me while their families were worried waiting at his house.

“Bener bu?” Ask the handyman.

“Iya sir is okay. Father returned aja”

“Ya. Mother be careful here. We go home first”

“Iyaa” answered me with a stiff smile.

Then I was left alone in the Cafe with the quiet atmosphere of the Cafe because there was no TV or music to warm me.

I continued to walk around the cafe to display wall decoration that will beautify the look of the dining area of the visitors. The big flash looks very bright with lightning striking and followed by a creepy rumble.

I dropped my picture frame to the floor because I was so surprised by the big lightning sound. And not long after the electricity was off. The dark atmosphere in the cafe is getting gripping and creepy.

I immediately pulled out my phone and immediately turned on the flash to illuminate my view. In a panic I ran out and called Papa for help.

“Hay dear already home?” Answer Papa.

“Pa I'm still at the Cafe all the handyman's home, and I'm still waiting for Althara to pick up, she's still on the street stuck. But suddenly there was a big lightning bolt, and his electricity died Pa” panicked me by continuing to stare at his dark Cafe.

“Ya already” said me confusedly staring at the many switches and cables neatly arranged in there.

“Ya” I said staring at so many blue switches.

“You check the Mini Circuit Breaker up or down? If you go down to the top in aja directly. If until the electricity is still dead you check the switch that is the lowest red color is usually the flow is too strong but you are careful because the electricity that is not properly installed but it's okay because it has been connected to a strong power keep checking again that its yellow MCB can be on topin or not.”

“Pa..pa..pa” call me to stop Papa's babble that has made me so dizzy.

Then Papa stopped and listened to me.

Then I heard Papa breathing his breath.

“Sorry darling. Papa's in a minute, you wait, ain't it dark-dark for a second?”

“Iya Pa” then I hung up her phone and decided to wait for Papa and Althara in front of the Cafe.

But when I turned around and walked down looking at my phone, I immediately hit someone who was tall and so sturdy with his body that looked gallant right behind me.

I was shocked and dropped my phone. I let my phone fall to the floor and looked me in the face clearly at the face that had hit me.

His face was so dark that no illumination could reveal his face. I kept frowning I saw clearly the face of the man who was just standing there with a feeling of fear.

Then a flash of lightning that was so bright helped me give light around me and the face of the man was so clear in front of me.

“Roni!” Surprised me by taking a deep breath.
