7 Days With Althara

I am still busy with my work that began to accumulate, because the end of the month is the day where all sales data should I collect and match according to expenditure data. And tonight I should've handed it to Daniel.

“Hay” greet someone in front of me when I am busy with my computer.

“Hay” replied to me when I saw that the man was Rey.

“Hay” greet her again.

“Hay” answer me again clumsily

Then we laughed.

“How are you doing?” Ask her.

“I'm good, you?”

“I'm also good” I just smiled after that.

“Tonight there is an event?” His question, surprised me.

“Hah?”

Rey laughed at my clumsy expression.

“Yet you were surprised, when I only have an event or not”

I smiled shyly. Because indeed my behavior is always absurd when dealing with men already feels rare for me.

“Where?” Ask her again.

“I have no events, but every month I do a lot of work Rey, I'm not sure I have time to go out besides rest” I know Rey will definitely be disappointed, I know, but I wasn't ready to get to know him any closer.

It was a day for me and for all the resto employees. Because our customers are 2 times more than in a typical day.

Why did Daniel eavesdrop on my conversation with Riani earlier inside.

In the car Daniel was still looking at me and Rey with a look of annoyance, but I tried to behave normally behind the car window.

This was my first time sitting in another man's car.

After looking away from the restaurant and feeling safe from Daniel I immediately sighed in relief, and immediately glanced at Rey with a bad taste.

“Rey I'm sorry, bener-ener apologize. Not that I'm using you, but I really don't want to go with Daniel”

“Daniel your previous boss?”

I'm nodding.

“Yes he owns the Restaurant it”

“Restaurant Owner?”

“Iya”

“Why don't you want to be among her?”

Once in front of my house is minimalist but has the impression of Modern and luxurious. Rey stopped him in front of my house.

“This is your home?”

“Iya I stayed here during in Jakarta”

“Two in Jakarta?” Her question doesn't understand.

“I am from Bandung Rey, but I work here for more than 2 years”

“Why not in Bandung? I mean in Bandung a lot of jobs, especially if you graduate with Bachelor in Molecular Gastronomy and.”

“Euh Rey I entered first yes, I need istiarahat” I don't want him to know my life story further with many questions he will return remind me of Althara.

Rey nodded in surprise.

I got out of his car and started walking into the yard of the house that does not have a fence but in front of it has a large yard with green grass that is aesthetic.

“Alhena” call Rey.

I stopped my steps and turned around, Rey walked up to me.

“I just want to say, if you need my help again to play a show in front of Daniel, I'm ready, but maybe you'll need my phone number just in case you need help”

I laughed at Rey's reason for getting my number. Rey handed me her phone. Actually there are still doubts in my heart, but Riani's words always ring in my mind.

I typed my phone number on Rey's phone and returned it.

I smiled weakly at him and entered my house whose door was made of glass.

I closed my door and dragged the white curtains to cover all the windows and doors.

My house is in central Jakarta. This complex has a house that varies from a large size to a minimalist size like my home. Although it seems small, but the whole house here looks modern and luxurious even though my house does not have an outer fence. But the front yard of my house has green grass and car parking makes this minimalist home feel aesthetic.

Inside the house there are only 1 bedroom, 1 spacious living room and kitchen that can be seen directly in the living room as well as a dining bar table in front of the kitchen.

My house has a garden behind the house and a laundry place on the roof. And on the roof there too I conjured the place into a relaxing place for me to read. I made the house as comfortable as I could to live in on my own, so I would always spend my time at home when I wasn't working.

I threw my bag on the bed and threw myself in there. I thought about Rey.

Just this time again I ventured to get to know a man more closely. For a long time I did not care for those who approached me, for my mind was still troubled by Althara.

Riani was right, I should try to open my heart to others. I can't keep going like this, Althara's gone. He's no longer there for me.
