7 Days With Althara

The second day in Bandung, Althara and I spent time with Mom and Dad at home. Papa and Althara are back as familiar as ever, and now they look even more sticky. The conversation they discussed was more mature than it used to be.

Papa and Althara still continue to discuss the construction of a cafe that will be made near our school first. They really do that. I can't do anything like this. Maybe it's true this is my time to come back, and leave my job.

My last day in Bandung. Mama made dinner so fancy before my return to Jakarta. There was a lot of food on the table for us to eat, and we started to eat quietly.

After dinner, Althara and I put our things in the trunk of the car. Mom and Dad were waiting at the door.

“Pa I came home ya” saying I hugged Papa when me and Althara had put all the stuff in the car.

“Iya dear be careful ya” she kisses my forehead.

“Ma Alhena home yes”

“Not come home son,but go” scolding Mama while hitting my small arm.

“Kalo come home here. Your home here”

Althara and I smiled at Mama.

“Iya yes Yes Alhena go first yes, later Alhena go home again”

Then Mama's face turned sad hearing that. She hugged me gently.

“Iya dear,cepet go home again yes. Mama kangen we gather like we used to”

Then it was Althara's turn to say goodbye to Mama and Papa by kissing the back of their hands.

“Don't speed ya Althara” Mama's orders.

“Oke Ma”

Then Althara and I got into the car, and I kept waving my hands to those who were still waiting for us until we left. We drove our car back to Jakarta.

We are until midnight in Jakarta. I got out of the car and Althara helped me down my little suitcase.

“I came home ya” pamitnya when it has delivered me to the front door.

I nodded my head with a smile.

“Tomorrow I picked up”

“Iya” answer me.

“Bye”

“Bye”

Then Althara came home.

Tomorrow.

I'm back in my life in Jakarta. I do all my activities here as usual. And back in the sport by my usual job. It's just for a few more days, and I'm gonna quit all this work.

That day I wore a cream shirt and a black knee-length skirt to work. And fastened my long hair neatly, not forgetting to wear a working name tag on the shirt that wrote my name and the work section at the Restaurant.

“Hay Al” greet Riani when see me enter.

“Udah returned home Bandung yesterday?” Ask her.

“Iya yesterday I so rouse” replied me while putting all my stuff on the workbench.

“Tumben lo actually rus” cibir Riani by lifting both halisnya.

“Yesterday Althara the anter I”

“Oooohhh pantes” she teased me.

“O Yes Al” Riani remembers something.

His face turned bitter.

“Barin Rey here”

I looked at him with uneasiness.

“She's nyari lo”

“Keep lo say what?”

“Gue says you take your leave and go back to Bandung. He took how many days you to Bandung, and I said you don't know because never sure”

I'm back agitated at his. Rey is still looking for me.

“She looked very sad to know Al. Like her she still hopes full same lo”

I breathed so heavy.

“Gue ga tau Ri. Though he also has an explanation from me, but still do not accept”

“Iya lah,gue already got all my happiness again. And Ri, I think it'll stop working”

“What!!” Shouts of disbelief.

“Kok lo stop working. Why?”

“Lo inget my Papa often talking about making a Cafe in Bandung?”

“Iya. Continues?”

“She actually made a cafe there and worse yet Althara helped Papa to make a cafe there”

Riani's face turned sad.

“Yah Al's. You actually-ener stop finally”

“Iya Ri,gue also does not want but how else”

“Ya Al already this may be the time to go back to Bandung”

“But how do you talk to Daniel?” Her question made me confused again.

“Iya it's his problem, it's about easy ga ya I ajuin resign to Daniel?”

“Ya you try it from now, don't impromptu”

“Iya later I try to contact him”

A few hours passed. I called Daniel to prepare for a meeting at the office that afternoon. This is my monthly schedule, always there are meetings at the beginning and end of each month. And I should always be there to accompany Daniel.

Daniel picked me up and drove his car straight to the office, which was almost an hour away from the traffic jam.

Daniel and I got to the office. As usual I kept following Daniel in the back by holding a file in my hand.

Daniel greets all of his office employees as soon as he walks in. I greeted them with a sweet smile.

I walked gracefully behind Daniel with my black higheels.

We first enter a room that is occupied by several people with each desk and computer at his desk.

“Gery. How have I finished the data I asked for yesterday?” Daniel asked one of his employees.

“Already Sir, later I send to E-mail Bapak” replied the person named Gery.

“Oke thank you”

Then Daniel walked back to the meeting room that had several people in there with various divisions.

“Happy Sore” greet Daniel as soon as he enters and sits at the end of the table.

I greeted them all with a small nod and sat down at the table beside Daniel.

The meeting began. The meeting was fairly impromptu because it was held earlier than the usual schedule, because there are important things that must be conveyed by Daniel about the turnover that had been according to several days.

I gave Daniel and the rest of the division an input on how we can take action plan to solve this problem. Some people accepted my input and others rejected it. But I give a strong reason and research that must be shown to all of them.

Daniel took me seriously and he accepted my action plan. He asked all parts of the division to do what I had planned.

The meeting was completed with results that satisfied everyone.

“Alhena” call Daniel when we exit the office.

“Iya” I stopped my steps and stared at her.

“Thanks ya”

“Why?” Ask me to frown.

“Because you always give your best to Restaurant ku”

I smiled at him.

“It's my job to be”

“This has exceeded your working limit Alhena”

“It’s ok, I am happy with my work” replied me with a smile and was about to leave him.

“Alhena”

I stopped and turned around.

“I would like to offer you to be a part owner of Ku” Restaurant

Daniel's words surprised me. I glared at him in disbelief. I started to feel confused and confused. He offered me to become an owner of his restaurant which had already started to have a name in the big cities.
