7 Days With Althara

Family Meetings

The next day my family and I were preparing to receive a visit from Althara and her family.

The food was prepared at the dinner table for lunch. My mom and dad were dressed up to greet Althara's family in front of the house, because Althara told me she was almost there. And sure enough, they've arrived and parked the car in my garage which is quite spacious.

I was still putting myself in my room when Althara got out of her car. I see myself in the mirror. So beautiful with my new bright yellow dress and short sleeves that have a V neck to show my beautiful neck and shoulders.

I descended the stairs quickly and immediately greeted those who had already entered the living room.

“Sister Alhena” shouted Laluna as usual she would be happy and run towards me if she had seen me.

“Lalunaaa” shouted I approached her and hugged her.

“Kak Alhena really beautiful sih” said Laluna who was new this time she saw me wearing a dress.

“Laluna is also very beautiful” reply me to her.

She also looks beautiful and cute with a pink dress and has a balloon skirt.

“Hay Mother,hay Daddy” say hello to me hugging them both.

“Hay dear” reply her.

“Let's eat first, my wife has prepared a lot of food for this lunch” Papa said touching the back of Father Althara.

Althara's father laughed so happy to sting Papa's babble.

“Oh what a coincidence that we all deliberately brought an empty stomach here” reply Althara's father back to make us laugh.

Old man jokes. I muttered with a smile so stiff.

“Let's go let's” then my Papa is leading everyone to the dinner table.

We start eating by continuing to joke from the babbles that come out of the mouths of Papa and Father Althara, we just respond to her by continuing to laugh while eating.

After the meal almost finished suddenly Mother spoke to Mama and Papa.

“Actually our main goal to invite to meet Papa and Mama Alhena is mainly to talk about the change of wedding event Bu Early” said Mother to my Mama.

His words made me, Mama and Papa confusedly stare at him.

“Change of plans?” Ask Papa.

I was still speechless and was just looking at Althara with this unknown. When I saw Althara's face that wasn't confused, she seemed to know about it.

Papa took a breath and put his spoon and fork on a plate that still had the rest of his food.

“Alhena. Dad's family is more in Jakarta Dad has also announced to them about your marriage. And Dad's family asked for an event in Jakarta. Dad and Mommy have also surveyed the hotel for your reception there” said Dad made me even more surprised.

I sighed so irritatedly and continued to stare at Althara sharply. I saw Althara beginning to worry because I had seen the look on my face that changed like a horn.
