Section 96

"Mrs, where are we going?" ani asked worriedly because the road they took was so foreign to him.

"Shut up if you don't want me down here!"

Lisa's impact made Ani's mouth shut a thousand languages. He kept silent throughout the journey even though his heart felt uneasy. There was fear coming to mind, fearing that they might throw him into the sea or into the abyss.

Protect me, Lord. Cover me! I still want to meet my granddaughter.

Ani's heart could not be separated from the strands of prayer, the ten fingers interlocked in damp sweat. Many times Ani wiped the sweat on the face even though the AC wind from the car blew cool.

The car they were riding arrived at the destination, a simple house surrounded by trees made Ani feel amazed.

Where is this?

The car stopped, they went out and looked around. There's no activity in that yard, it's always like that. It was quiet and silent unlike when the owner was alive.

"What are you gonna do here?" lisa asked as soon as they stood in front of the gate and there was no welcome.

"There are things you should know, and I will know today!" eva said after her breath came out unwillingly.

Intermittent, uniformed people sprung up from behind the iron fence. They lined up to form a row barricade that blocked the road. Eva frowned unhappily, feeling the need to be respected as the daughter-in-law of the Aryan family.

"Open the gate!" tell Eva while looking haughty.

There was no excuse, Eva was irritated by them. A look back, pounding the stiff faces behind the iron fence.

"I said open the gate!" Eva began to raise her voice.

Still same. They were silent like statues, not responding to Eva's request.

"Damn! Do you want me to scream and make a noise?" Eva's jaw hardened, both of her hands clenched tightly.

There was still no response, they remained just as still frozen.

"Bad! All right, don't blame me if all the citizens come here," Eva threatened still not get a response.

Really fucking! They don't respect me at all. Watch out for you, Caesar!

"Trease! Out you! I know you're inside, get out! You must be hiding my son! Give me back my son, Cempaka!" scream Eva. That's what he really did.

Something their employers have never done before. Eva forgot who she was, what was her status? As an honorable woman, she should have boundaries.

Unsatisfied. Eva kept shouting inviting Cempaka out. Surprising Lisa and Gyan, as well as Ani.

"THE CHAMP! Goddamnit! You worked together to betray me. Out you! Women don't know themselves!" Eva's high voice continued to echo inside the simple house.

Cempaka, who had just breastfed her two babies, woke up and came out of the room. In the living room, Lucy was standing at the window peering outside.

"Lucy! Who was screaming? Like Eva's voice?" ask Cempaka as he continues to step closer to Lucy.

"They're really coming, Manda. He was screaming accusing you of taking his son. Lookie! They're right there!" Lucy pointed at the page. He could still see the four people there despite being blocked by the ranks of the guards.

"There's Ani there too. Do they think their son is here?" muttered Cempaka after seeing the confused figure of Ani behind them.

"It seems so." Lucy chimed in while shoving her shoulders.

"I'll go out and explain" said Cempaka.

"Why?" Asked confused.

"Let me talk to them. You just wait here" he said as he walked out and shut the door.

Outside the gate, Eva still kept shouting asking Cempaka out. This confused Lisa and Gyan. They did not understand what Cempaka had to do with the disappearance of Evan and Caesar. Also the house, which they knew Cempaka was Arjuna's wife.

The line split open, forming a path when it heard the roar of authoritative steps belonging to the butler.

"You!" eva is full of emotion.

"There's no need to yell so fast, ma'am. What you are looking for is not here. There is no master Caesar or child you mean" the elderly man said politely and kindly.

"Don't lie to me! Open the gate, I want to see myself inside!" eva joked while shaking the sturdy iron.

The butler smiled, walking closer to Eva. Staring at him deeply, skinning Eva's rot.

"I told you, there is no Caesar here. The heir to this house has already come, no one can enter without his permission. In fact, even Caesar." She shook her head, allowing Eva to understand that what she said was true.

"I don't believe it. You could be lying to cover up their betrayal!" point out the fiery Eva.

The man was silent, looking at Eva intensely. The corner of his lips lifted slowly, intimidating them.

"Who betrayed whom? Aren't you the ones who betrayed?" The eagle's sharp eyes were spinning staring at the three faces that instantly paled.

Eva looks agitated after being surprised to hear the words of the butler.

"Don't think the carcass you've been hiding won't smell." She smiled wider, making Eva less warty.

Lisa held her son's hand firmly, continuing to avoid the butler's gaze that completely peeled off the rot.

"Go! Don't make a fuss here. In this house there was never any commotion. This house is always peaceful and peaceful, away from evil. Go, before they force you to leave!" threaten the butler and turn around to leave the place.

Eva still did not accept, she again shouted calling Cempaka's name, asking him to come out. The butler stopped his steps, breathing deeply.

"Their driver is from here!" tell them all.

"Trease! I'm not leaving until he comes out and gives me my son! Cempaka, get out! Give me back my son!" Eva yells again accusing Cempaka of taking her child.

Meanwhile, Ani, felt confused by the current situation. He thought that Cempaka had not gone, but had stayed in the house without appearing in public.

"Madam, I don't think it was the lady who took your child. It's possible that Mr. Caesar is not here" Ani said, ending Eva's speech.

"Shut up!" snarled Eva with red bulging eyes.

The gates opened, the men in uniform were preparing to drive them out. However, Eva was unmoved, being stubborn by remaining silent near the iron fence.

"I won't leave until I've taken my son!" resist Eva rebelled as the bodyguard was about to take her away.

"Take me off! Let go of me, damn it! I'm not leaving! I'm not leaving! I have to see my son!" push Eva whose hand is holding on to the iron fence.

"Take him off!"

The voice shook them all.
