Section 30

The dining table felt different to Caesar, there was a smile of happiness emanating on the face of the father as well as himself. Looking at the typical soup before the eyes, returned it to the time where the mother existed.

"It's exactly like your mother's cooking. Does it feel the same?" said Mr. Arya waiting for the servants to serve soup made by Cempaka.

Caesar smiled, he prevented a servant who was about to flip the bowl and dishes. Understand, the waiter retreated backwards and Yudi asked the servant-looking Cempaka to serve Caesar.

Master Arya silently glanced, watching the smiling child staring at the servant.

"You made it?" whispered the man near Cempaka's ear.

"I-yes, Sir. Sorry if the taste does not suit your taste," replied Cempaka, while returning away after confirming the Caesar meal.

He and Aryan master both tasted the cuisine, both closing their eyes at the thought of the gentle figure among them.

"Mmm .. This is awesome! How could it taste the same as your mother made? There's just less." Mr. Arya squealed happily, but his last sentence made Cempaka's heart beat irregularly.

"Father's right. It's like mother-made and I know what's lacking ...."

Cempaka silently listened, what felt less he would try to perfect the cuisine.

"Only one ingredient is lacking and that is the most important ingredient that must be present. That is, mother's love."

Cempaka was stunned, his breath stuck in the throat. He won't be able to give you that. He glanced at Yudi, the man nodded.

"You're right. After all, your mother's figure is perfecting this dining table." Mr. Arya sighed and continued eating.

And Champa has it, Dad. I felt my mother's presence near him.

The two men ate the food with a happy feeling. Cempaka was full, it seemed they used to be a happy family and Caesar a child who got abundant affection from a mother so that whatever related to the woman, he always remembered her.

"Where's your wife?"

The deg!

Cempaka's heart immediately pulsated with pain, he lowered his head withstanding all the bitterness.

"He's still preparing. Eva doesn't like this soup, Dad." Caesar answered without pausing his meal.

Intermittent, a step knock was heard on the floor approaching the dining room. Cempaka knows who's coming. He came with all his perfection, the smell of the flowers pouring out filled the space. An elegant, sweet smile is etched beautifully on her lips that is always polished make-up.

"Good morning!" he said with a soft voice.

"August, baby. Let's eat!" greet Mr. Arya kindly.

Eva smiled, a waiter pulled a chair for her. The sweet smile was instantly lost seeing the food he hated lying on the dining table.

"Keep this out of my sight!" say it with a loud voice.

Mr. Arya paused for a moment the movement of his hand, seeing that Eva changed her arrogant demeanor.

"Ah, sorry. I don't really like mushroom soup, a little bit of an allergy. So, can you please keep her out of my sight?" Eva's voice turned soft.

He glanced at his father-in-law, then Caesar and finally Cempaka who stood in line with the servants. The woman lowered her head, making Eva silently review the evil smile.

Sucks. Is he looking face to face in front of Dad? You're just a girl, not worth competing with me.

"Dad! Did you take any medicine?" asked Caesar while confirming the button of his arm.

He saw the old man sitting while reading the daily newspaper on the porch.

"Ah, I forgot. Where did you keep it?" Mr. Arya lowered the newspaper from the face, looking at Caesar who looked dashing exactly like he was when he was young.

"Eva kept it. I'll tell him." Caesar was about to move on, but Eva's appearance stopped him.

"The father has not taken the medicine. I brought it on the schedule that mom gave me." He sat down elegantly, giving the medicine to master Arya attentively.

"I'll ask the waiter to set up Dad's medicine schedule. It's nothing, it's all because I'm rarely home." Eva proposes Caesar's approval and Aryan's master does not blame him.

"Well, it's okay. I understand your busyness." Mr. Arya commented a smile, acknowledging the two.

The figures of Yudi and Cempaka appear carrying Caesar's briefcase. Eva forgot about it, she should have brought Caesar's bag.

"Master, you forgot your briefcase. Sorry, I took it," said Cempaka accidentally sat with sharp beads Eva.

"Thank you." Caesar's heart throbbed with pain, if not for appreciating Eva's efforts to bring the baby, he would not have performed the charade. She wants Eva to be valued as the perfect wife in the eyes of the family. Especially father.

Cempaka leaned over, then turned around and went to the back of the house. Only that place currently gave him comfort. Sitting in front of a fish pond surrounded by flowers.

"Miss! You all right?" reprimand one of the servants who had recently become his friend chatted.

Cempaka looked up, smiling sweetly hiding the sadness of his heart.

"It's okay. Be seated! What's yourname?" Eva patted the empty space beside her, she did not hesitate to sit side by side with the servants.

"It's okay, Miss. I'm just here." The servant chose to sit on a stone, worried that Caesar would come upon him. "My name is Lusy, Miss. I just worked in this house. My job is to clean this backyard" Lusy said later.

Cempaka smiled, if noticed Lusy was the same age as Eva. They may also have a husband and children. Is he living happily?

"alright. I'm Cempaka. Mmm ... Lusy, are you married?" The question was spontaneous. Cempaka looked at Lusy's simple face, from the smile he carved he knew that the woman was very happy with her marriage.

"Already, Miss. We even have two children. Both have gone to school" replied Lusy without a smile from his lips.

Cempaka smiled bitterly, seething with envy in his heart to have a happy simple life.

"You .. must be happy. In the past, I also aspired to build a simple household. Life is happy even though eating potluck, but destiny says something else. I have to be here" Cempaka said, ending his long breath.

Lusy raised his face, staring at the master. He did live a simple life away from luxury, but the man who married him always sprinkled love every day on his heart.

"You are patient, Miss. One day things will change." Lusy said soothingly, there was nothing he could do for Cempaka. Seeing the injustice that was happening, he knew what it was like to be that woman.

Cempaka lowered his gaze, smiling sincerely at the servant.

"Thank you so much for listening to me. I'm happy because now there are friends to talk to other than Mr. Yudi," he said again gratefully.

"Ekhem! Can I talk to you?"

The voice jerked their chatter.
