(Tak) Bile Sepahit Bile
Section 100

In the backyard of the main house, on a wooden bench facing the land overgrown with vegetables, two different types of people sat in silence. Only his second breath was occasionally heard without a word accompanying.

"Dad was sorry. Really sorry, until now the regret still feels so painful." Mr. Arya started his own story that he didn't tell anyone.

Cempaka turned his head, staring at the wrinkled skin beside him that was fluttering on the green expanse of vegetables.

"What makes you sorry?" she asked, curious about the old man's past.

Long breaths were done by Mr. Arya to reduce the tightness that squeezes the chest. Every time you remember the late wife, there is always a sense of regret that accompanies you. Sorry for never believing it. Regretting for not caring about his feelings is also his loyalty. Regret not seeing the sincere love he gave.

"Dad was so stupid that in the end he was sick Dad no longer paid attention to him. All because of the selfishness of Father who can not see sincere love until the end of his life. Dad's really sorry. If time could be turned back to the past, I'd like to live in the time with him." Master Arya lowered her head, pressing her two eyes that were about to cry.

Cempaka turned around, starting to think about himself. There is a love that he has hidden from the world, a love for a man who has given him two children. Not that he didn't want to admit, but he was just afraid that his love would clap one hand.

"But I realized, none of that would happen again. What I'm thinking about now is how your kids don't experience the same thing. It feels really painful. In fact, death alone is far better than having to live in the confines of regret." He shook his head, hoping that Cempaka would catch his point and purpose in telling the story.

Cempaka lowered his head, slightly understanding where the old man beside him was going. He sighed, not knowing what to do.

"Actually I want to talk to you about Caesar, son." Mr. Arya was unmoved at Cempaka's reaction.

Unsurprised, the woman simply greeted him with a long sigh that he exhaled slowly.

"What's wrong with him, Dad? Aren't they happy to have a child?" cempaka Lirih.

His eyes were fixed on the fingers that were hooked on each other. Feeling damp for whatever reason? For sure he can feel a heartbeat that feels different than usual.

"You already know what Eva did behind Caesar. No need to say it anymore. He's looking for you, Cempaka. He wants to bring you back together with your children. I just don't want you guys to regret it later on because of this. As happened to Father," said Mr. Arya was determined to reunite Cempaka and Caesar.

Cempaka's heart beat is getting irregular. There's a burning feeling, but I don't know what.

"Our marriage is just a contract marriage, Dad. Caesar bought me at a great price from that man. I left according to the contract he made," said Cempaka as he turned to the left wiping off the water that was about to fall.

It is painful to remember those times. The time when all the bitterness begins. Mr. Arya was a little surprised to hear that. The contract?

"Without your marriage contract or not, but I think Caesar loves you, son. If you meet later, and he reveals what is in his heart, then you must be prepared with the answer. I proposed to you personally for the father's son, think carefully. Don't make a decision without thinking about it," said Mr. Arya really want them to unite as a whole and officially.

Cempaka lowered his head even deeper, there was a throbbing in his heart, but not the pain.

"But what about Eva? Don't the two of them complement each other? It was impossible for Caesar to love me, and he adored his wife so much." Cempaka raised his face, looking at the smiling Aryan master towards him.

The old man knew in Cempaka's heart there was little taste for his son. How much he understands that. Slowly, Cempaka can certainly accept the fact that they really love each other and certainly need each other.

"So, she loved Eva so much. Just think, who would like to have her enjoyed by others? Caesar saw the evidence for himself. He's sick now. Sick from a traitor committed by a man she loved so much." Mr. Arya sighed, turned his face away from Cempaka and stared at the green expanse of vegetables before them.

Perhaps in the past, that was how his late wife felt. Pain, even if it does not bleed.

"Lately he told Dad that he loved you and regretted letting you go. You didn't give him a chance to talk. Until now, she didn't know that you were giving birth to twins. What if he finds out?" Mr. Arya turned his head back, he could imagine the happiness on his son's face.

Cempaka fluttered, silent and lowered his head later. His heart wondered about the truth of the taste Caesar had for him.

He breathed to prepare himself to dismantle everything.

"He was born from the womb of a young girl who was forcibly desecrated by one of the members of the Father's family, but the man did not want to take responsibility, frustrating him. I met him in the hospital, he told me everything. He wants to die with the fetus that's in his womb." Back, Cempaka sighed.

"So, I gave him assurance that he and his son would live a decent life from the Aryan family's possessions. She agreed to give me the baby, but baby. She died after giving birth. I took the boy and gave it to Caesar so that he could meet his father" Cempaka said as he turned to Mr. Arya.

The man was silent, looking for who the perpetrator Cempaka meant. Infuriated, Mr. Arya's face slowly hardened hearing the cruelty his family had committed.

"Who has done that?" ask Mr. Arya grimly.

"Father's stepson, Lisa's son, Gyan. Dad didn't see? At least that face was similar to Gyan." Finally revealed what had been a big secret.

Mr. Arya lost his oxygen supply, not really expecting the stepson he gave luxury to embarrass him.

"I should have given one of my babies to Caesar, but I could not have separated them. Looking into his eyes, I always wanted to be around them, unable to feel the need to get away from one of my children." Cempaka shook his head, he was wrong for violating the rules of the contract, but as a mother who had just given birth he was not willing to lose his baby just like that.

"Dad understood, Dad understood. What you did was right. Let Caesar know for himself. He's here, you don't want to see him?" Full of hope in that question.

He smiled, his head shaking. Not that he didn't want to, but deep down he wanted Caesar to come looking for him.

"I'll be back tomorrow morning, it's not good to have to leave the resort for too long. Let our meeting happen by chance, I will not refuse it" said Cempaka greeted with a rude sigh by Mr. Arya.

"All right, that's your right. You should know, son, your children need to know their father. Do not let the children of others get the affection of Caesar that they should get. They were the most entitled to it," remembered master Arya making Cempaka's head nod.

She wants the Twins to know her father, but not now. Cempaka wanted Caesar to see for himself that without him, he could live properly and take care of his two children.

"Oh yes, come in! Maybe the kids need you" said Mr. Arya, patting Cempaka on the shoulder.

The woman sighed before moving on. Go inside to meet his two children who are cool playing with Lucy.

"Have you spoken?" lucy asked when Cempaka joined them.

"It has. Tomorrow morning we'll be back. I don't want to linger here" replied Cempaka as she kissed the heads of her two children.

"Yes, I don't want to linger here either. Especially after the incident," said Lucy was not happy with the commotion caused by Eva and her gang.

"I'll get ready!" Lucy went to pack their things. Make sure nothing is left behind, so that tomorrow does not have to bother anymore.

At Caesar's house, there was no more smiling. No more laughter. Everyone looked glum, especially the two women.

Who has replaced me? Damn it, just be careful I'll get rid of it.

Ani growled inwardly at the thought of her granddaughter's new nanny.
