Section 38

"Where is Cempaka?" ask Eva as soon as she arrives home and meets Yudi.

"Miss is resting in the room, Madam. He's not feeling well and he's asking not to be disturbed tonight." Yudi answered at length explaining the state of Cempaka.

"Yes already. Let him rest. Tomorrow we'll talk to him" Caesar said, taking Eva to their room.

Yudi sighed, turning towards his own room. Thankful that they didn't bother Cempaka.

****

The next day, they were on the same table. So did Cempaka who sat side by side with lord Arya. At the request of the old man, no one protested including Eva herself.

"Good morning!" the sound of a voice coming filled the middle room of the house.

Lisa came alone to Caesar's house to see her husband. Or just pretend to care about him.

"Mrs! Everyone is in the dining room. Please!" Yudi came bowing before the woman.

She took Lisa into the dining room to see her husband. The woman's eyebrows shot up while she saw Cempaka sitting side by side with the Aryan master.

"Why is he sitting here? Go and find your own place!" fierce Lisa stared intently at Cempaka.

The woman immediately moved, bowing politely as she retreated to the line of servants.

"Sorry, Madam."

Lisa snorted, continuing to occupy Cempaka's place earlier. His facial expression turned sweet as Master Arya stared.

"You shouldn't have to talk like that. I asked him to sit there," said the Lord Arya advising his wife.

"I just don't like lowly people being in the same place as us. Never mind, I came to see my husband. How are you?" lisa said as she asked and touched the arm of Mr. Arya.

The man feeds his food into his mouth, he eats it as greedily as he would in their home.

"As you can see, I'm fine. They take very good care of me here," replied master Arya while glancing at Caesar who kept eating his food.

"Thank God if so. Are you gonna stay here? Not to return to our home," he asked spoiled.

Mr. Arya finished his meal first. Dabbing lips and drinking water with one sip.

"I don't know. Maybe in a few weeks, I still want to be here." Mr. Arya smiled asking for understanding. Being at Caesar's house made him return many times to the past, especially being close to the figure of Cempaka.

"I hope you'll stay here until Eva gives birth" Caesar suddenly said.

Uhuk-uhuk!

Eva chokes on her own food, while Cempaka bows her head sadly. What should have been announced pregnant was that she was not Eva, but who she was back in the house.

"So, Eva's pregnant?" Lisa widened in disbelief, staring at Eva with flickering eyes.

"Be careful!" Caesar massaged Eva's nape, helping her to relieve coughing due to choking on food.

They look happy, Caesar, Eva, Mr. Arya. While Cempaka tried desperately to suppress the pain that hit the heart. From his place, Lucy looked compassionately at the woman. No one knows if Cempaka is pregnant except himself, Caesar and the lord of Arya himself.

"alright. If so, congratulations to you. I'm glad to hear it. Caesar's right, you should stay home. Take care of your health as well as the fetus in your womb," Lisa said so attentive.

"Thank you, Mother." Eva glanced at her husband, then the last Aryan master at Cempaka who lowered his head.

Eva pulled Cempaka's hand into her room, she also packed the woman's belongings and stuffed them into a suitcase. Cempaka just silently watched. It's better that he doesn't live in that house.

"Today you must also leave this house. Take it easy, your loyal servant will come with you." Eva handed the suitcase to Cempaka.

"I have prepared a house for you. I hope you remember the deal. You must take care of the child until it is born into this world. Do you understand?" firmly Eva again reminded Cempaka for what he was in Caesar's house.

"I understand, Madam." Cempaka said briefly. He tried to be strong and not cry. Tired if you have to continue to shed tears for things that do not need to be weeded.

"Come out, Arjuna is waiting for you. He will lead you to that house" he said.

Cempaka dragged his suitcase out. Without saying much because he himself wanted to leave the house immediately. Although there was an Aryan master who treated him like another human, still the more powerful was Eva.

Arjuna opened the door for him, Cempaka was not even allowed to say goodbye to Mr. Arya who was talking in the backyard with his wife.

Lucy and Caesar were in the same car. Cempaka smiled because the waiter was coming with him. At least he's not alone.

"Miss, you have to be strong" Lucy said as she clasped Cempaka's hand.

The woman nodded nonchalantly, she leaned her head against the car window staring at the row of buildings standing firmly along the road.

Don't ever wish on something that isn't yours, Cempaka. Be strong, after this you will be free from all rules.

Cempaka sighed, contemplating his fate that was far from lucky. Caesar secretly glanced at his wife from the rearview mirror. His heart throbbed accepting the fact that they would live apart.

I'm sorry, Champa. I hope you'll understand. I seem to have fallen in love with you, but still can't express it. Wait for the right time, I will never let you go.

Caesar muttered in his heart. Glancing at the window could not bear to see the woman's sad face. Until their car arrives in front of a simple house, not as big as the house Eva occupied.

Everyone moves on, Arjuna brings Cempaka's suitcase followed by Lucy. Caesar took the woman to the main room. The house is only one floor, not far from Caesar's own house.

"I don't mean to throw you out, but it's for the good of everyone including yourself. Here, you're the owner. No one will rule your life. I guarantee Eva will never come here to make a mess. Live well, take good care of our children." Caesar crouched down in front of Cempaka, rubbed the woman's flat stomach and clasped her.

Kissing her so many times as if not wanting to be far away. She wanted to accompany Cempaka through the difficult times of pregnancy. Seeing and watching the growth and development of the fetus in his womb like other men.

However, Caesar had to dismiss all those desires due to circumstances.

"You take it easy, sir. I will take care of this child because she lives in my womb" replied Cempaka with certainty.

Caesar stood up and hugged the woman. Kissed Cempaka's face before releasing a hug.

"I will come here often because after all you are my wife just like Eva," she said before leaving Cempaka with Arjuna.
