The atmosphere of the restaurant was so romantic, many candles were attached around. The place that is open on the edge of the lake becomes its own specialty for the restaurant.
A couple sat facing each other, toast celebrating the happiness they had just achieved. After this, the drama will begin. Where Eva would pretend to be pregnant and Cempaka moved away from the mansion.
"Have you thought about it?" asked Caesar while looking at Eva fixedly.
The woman put down the glass in an elegant style, wagging her hair while looking at her husband. His lips as red as chili peppers smiled, welcoming Caesar's question.
"It has. I've been thinking about what steps we're going to take next." Eva spoke with confidence.
"really? Was it?" Caesar asked impatiently, he sipped the drink in hand without taking his eyes off the woman before him.
"You know what I'm planning. I'll pretend to be pregnant, and Cempaka .. I want her to stay in a different house to avoid suspicion. You can put a bodyguard in the house to make sure it's safe." Eva looked at Caesar closely.
The man was stunned for a moment, far away from Cempaka? It seemed that he would not be able to, but letting the woman stay in his house, would certainly invite a lot of suspicion.
"Mmm .. okay. I've already determined where he'll stay. I'll also put in some bodyguards to ensure his safety. I hope you don't get out of the house too often. Stay home as long as you pretend to be pregnant" Caesar replied. Making the end of her sentence a condition for Eva.
"If you go out of the house, I won't take Cempaka out because you know for yourself I always need someone beside me." Caesar smiled sweetly, a smile that seemed sharp and threatening.
For a moment the woman's face looked paled, but then smiled no less sweet.
"Whatever it is, baby. I will obey your wishes. For the sake of our child" said Eva reassured the man's heart.
Caesar smiled in satisfaction, but did not remove the suspicion that was already present in his heart. He's gonna keep investigating Eva wherever she's been lately. Their dinner went well without any interruptions.
The two even purposely strolled around the lake enjoying the view at night. There are many couples there, capturing happy moments of enjoying togetherness.
"Honey. You're going to divorce her after giving birth, aren't you? You're gonna leave her and I'm your only wife, aren't you? One child alone is enough to fill the void in our household," Eva asked in an anxious and agitated tone.
He held onto Caesar's chest, tearing it with affection.
Caesar was amazed, he did not plan it even though in the contract he signed with Baron and Cempaka it was written like that.
"Darling!" Eva's call made Caesar aware of the question he had to answer.
The man lowered his gaze, staring at the two Eva beads that looked sad.
"Yes. You know for yourself what the deal looks like, don't you? She will be my wife until she gives birth. The rest, it will no longer have a relationship," Caesar replied despite not being in line with his heart.
He would never let go of Cempaka from his life. The woman who has returned what was lost from the man's heart.
I don't want to lose it a second time. I will never let go of Cempaka even if I have to keep everything from Eva a secret. It won't!
Eva smiled at her husband's answer. He hugged Caesar, buried his head in the man's chest. Pretending to be afraid of losing, yet wanting to get rid of.
Eva smiled cunningly, her brain completely filled with evil and rotten plans. He won't stop until he gets what he wants.
"It's night. We'd better go back," asked Caesar to be embraced by Eva obediently.
While at home, Cempaka had just woken up from sleep. Her face was puffy from crying for most of the day. No one bothered me because the door was locked from the inside.
"God! Why is it so swollen?" Cempaka approached the mirror, looking at the adhesives of his face.
Wh-tok-tok!
"Geez!" Cempaka was jumped when the door was suddenly knocked.
"Miss! You're up already? It's dinner time" said Yudi, waking him up.
Cempaka sighed, walking slowly towards the door. He opened the door a little, too embarrassed to face the man.
"God! Miss, are you okay?" Almost the middle-aged man's hand opened the door presumptuously.
"Sir Yud. Can I eat in my room? I'm ashamed to go out, and please don't let anyone come into this room" said Cempaka sadly.
"Including sir?" Yudi asked to make sure.
The woman nodded, she did not want to meet Caesar that night.
"alright. I'll have Lucy deliver the food to your room." Yudi bowed as he left Cempaka's room.
He asks Lucy to bring food for Cempaka to his room and accompany the woman.
"Miss! I'm Lucy." Lucy asks permission when she arrives in front of Cempaka's room.
The door opened, Lucy pulled Cempaka to go inside immediately. Then lock it and go back to the edge of the bed with a lowered face. Lucy put the food on the table without paying attention to Cempaka.
"Miss, please eat. Have you taken your medicine?" Lucy attentively asked, she prepared water for Cempaka to take vitamins.
"Miss ..jeez! What's going on?" Lucy screeched as soon as Cempaka raised his face looking at her.
"Sorry, yeah. I'm troubling you. You must come here with me" said Cempaka, smiling to hide the sadness of his heart.
"Ah, it's okay, Miss. Come on, you should eat and take vitamins. Your face is so pale," Lucy helps Cempaka move on. He accompanied the woman to eat her food, prepare medicines that must be taken routinely by Cempaka according to the doctor recommended.
"Miss, if you need a friend to talk to you don't bother me." Lucy felt pity because the presence of Cempaka was like a paid servant and was considered non-existent even though Caesar often treated him gently.
"Thank you, yeah. You're very kind" said Cempaka with a smile. He began to slowly feed the food into his mouth.
"Lucy, I want to eat sour fruit. Can you find it for me tomorrow? It seems like it's late, there's no way I'm going to ask you to buy it now" Cempaka asked in between meals.
"of course. Tomorrow I'll buy it for you, Miss." Lucy answered with confidence.
He is very familiar with the situation of young pregnant women like Cempaka because he had experienced it himself. Always wanted to be pampered, noticed. Unfortunately, Cempaka would never get it because Caesar only wanted a child from him.
"Eat a lot, Miss. You have to be healthy and strong" Lucy said, feeling compassion for the innocent woman.
"Thank you once again. You're like my mother." Cempaka remembered his mother who left.
