"Call me dad!"
Instantly Cempaka raised his face looking at master Arya with glaring eyes. Those three words were enough to shake his heartbeat. A second later, he laughed crisply. The big man in front of him was making a joke.
"You could have, sir. I'm lacking a father's affection, but that doesn't mean I should call you father just because of our brief conversation yesterday. Moreover, you are a big person, it might affect your good name," said Cempaka while trying to cover up his nervousness.
Mr. Arya smiled wryly, he knew Cempaka was hiding something. Something he should know.
"You don't have to pretend anymore, son. I already know what he wants. You're the woman my son secretly married. You must know nothing about it. Such a marriage is not beneficial to you, it is very detrimental. Especially when this secret is known to all families, you and your child will be thrown away and will never be recognized," said Mr. Arya still with a friendly smile embedded on his lips.
Cempaka stunned, one big secret has been revealed. He lowered his head deeply, rubbing his bulging stomach. Good, if Caesar won't admit his son. He's really going to leave and he'll never come back.
Lucy turns her back to hear Mr. Arya's statement. The tail of her eyes glanced at Cempaka, worried about the pregnant woman's psychological state. But what happened next, was unexpected.
Cempaka raised his face, smiling calmly looking at master Arya.
"If you know everything and that's what it's supposed to be, I don't care. I will take care of and raise this child myself. You take it easy, I promise I won't interfere with your life or your son's, and if I have to leave this house then, I'll leave right now," cerocos Cempaka was without fear of the big man before him.
Not offended, the smile of Mr. Arya just growing wider. Seemed satisfied with the answer given by Cempaka. She's a tough, brave woman behind all her weaknesses.
"I'm proud to have you as a daughter-in-law. You take it easy, if he can't give you his attention and affection, I'll do it. As a father, he was also a grandfather to his grandson. You are very precious to me" said Mr. Arya staring lovingly and affectionately at Cempaka.
The pregnant woman, as well as Lucy. Confused about what happened. Only his eyelids were flickering for an explanation.
"I-I mean you, sir?" Cempaka asked.
Mr. Arya sighed, leaning back against the back of the sofa as he looked around.
"Caesar blinded his love for Eva, he could not see the good and could not find the bad. Her heart was completely closed and it was controlled by Eva so that whoever advised her would never be heard. Eva is pregnant now, and Caesar is in her grip. I don't want to lose it a second time." Mr. Arya shook his head sadly.
Seeing Cempaka was like seeing his late wife.
"A-I don't understand," wirred Cempaka again lowered his head.
"You remind me of my late wife, the woman I loved so much. I don't want to lose you the same as losing my love. Call me dad, don't consider me your father-in-law. I am your father" asked Mr. Arya earnestly.
The disbelief that lay in Cempaka's heart, made him turn his head to Lucy. Asking through the eyes, was he dreaming?
However, the smile and nod of the woman's head, answering her doubts.
"Oh, maybe I was just dreaming. I will sleep and when I wake up then everything will return as usual" said Cempaka as he moved from sitting and walked slowly to his room.
"Master, if you just want to make him happy, there's no need to lie like this. Miss is already sad too much even, it's possible that her tears are already dry. I don't want to see her cry anymore." Lucy begged deeply, he lowered his head while sobbing bitterly imagining the life of Cempaka who had not yet found happiness.
Master Arya smiled, then let out a long sigh. He understood Lucy's attitude.
"Do I look like I'm joking? Or what did you say ... lied? Know, an Aryan never plays around with his words. I mean, I mean it all." Mr. Arya looked at Lucy deeply, judging and looking at the two-baby woman.
Lucy raised her face, her eyes bulging wide. The smile of Mr. Arya reassured him.
"I'll stay here for the next few days. Is there a room for me?" asked Mr. Arya to tell him the meaning of his arrival.
"Sa-I will prepare it, sir." Lucy lowered her head, then turned around packing her belongings in the room for lord Arya to occupy.
Meanwhile, he will occupy the third room located not far from the kitchen space.
"Your room is ready, sir!" said Lucy after tidying things up. Flanged, door knocked. Lucy comes to the door immediately. A man brought a suitcase and handed it to Lucy.
"Our Master." No more words, the man turned and left the courtyard of Cempaka's house.
"Master!"
Mr. Arya nodded his head, he got up from the chair and followed Lucy to his room. The woman also helped tidy up Mr. Arya's clothes into the closet. After that, he turned to go to his own room.
What a surprise, the arrival of Mr. Arya alone was unexpected. Moreover, he considers Cempaka as his son-in-law.
"Hopefully after this, there is only happiness in the life of the lady." Lucy smiled hoping with all her heart.

While at Caesar's house, the man was still waiting for lord Arya until the afternoon. So anxious to think of his father, repeatedly clucked. Unsettled feeling of heart.
"Yudi, are you sure you're going to the funeral?" caesar asked the servant's head.
"It was only recently that I got word that you went to visit one of his relatives outside the city with the Aryan family secretary, Mister," Yudi replied who got a message from the secretary of the Aryan master.
Caesar sighed, slightly relieved after knowing the whereabouts of the father. He slammed himself on a chair in his study. Too tired to be outdoors, because Eva's family still gathered there.
"You need something, sir? Drink for example?" ask Yudi attentively.
"yeah. Get me some water!" Caesar was a little powerless. The absence of Cempaka in the house caused longing in Caesar's heart. Really, he wanted to meet that woman.
