One month, two months, three months Cempaka passed his days in the new house. During that time, Caesar forgot his promise. Wanted him to run away and go far away, but Caesar's men guarded the house strictly. Every month, Arjuna would come to pick up to do the controls.
Like that month, the fourth month they lived in the house.
"Miss, it looks like master forgot his promise again. You all right?" chirp Lucy who feels sorry for her employer.
Although life is adequate and does not lack anything, but still as a pregnant woman requires affection and attention from her husband.
"It's okay. No need to dispute. I don't really want to think about her, but somehow the child in this womb needs her father. Madam is not pregnant, there is no life in her womb, but here." Cempaka rubbed his stomach which began to cause slight movement.
Lucy hugged the poor woman, she was all Cempaka had right now. Sometimes Lucy's children will come play even, staying in the house.
"Patience, Miss. There'll be time." Lucy strengthened the woman. During this time Cempaka looks fine, does not look stressed or looks to think about other things.
Arjuna's car has arrived, the man is still the same as when they first met. Implied pity in both maniknya every time come to the house Cempaka.
"Mr Arjuna has arrived. We better get ready. Wouldn't we know something today? You should be excited, Miss!" Lucy helps Cempaka wear the blazer.
He brought a bag of his needs, before opening the door to meet Arjuna.
"How are you, Miss?" greet Arjuna politely.
"I'm doing fine. Just a little trouble walking, maybe because my womb is different from other women's." Cempaka.
Arjuna was quick to help, Cempaka's stomach that had been slightly enlarged like an old pregnancy made it difficult to walk.
"Be careful, Miss!" Arjuna opened the door for her, helping Cempaka to sit inside carefully.
"Didn't you ask me? Don't you want to say hello to his son? He had already started to show himself," asked Cempaka with a painful feeling.
He would have heard the same answer. As Arjuna often said.
"Master accompanied the madam at the hospital, Miss. He often asks about your situation, but the mistress always prevents him from going to see you." Again.
Cempaka sighed, turning his face to the window. One hand supported his head, and the other rubbed his protruding belly.
"I hope you'll keep this a secret. Do not let the other ear hear it. That's if you really care about me." Cempaka's voice sounded soft and vibrating, hitting Arjuna's heartstrings as well as Lucy's.
The young man tightened his grip on the steering wheel, he would never betray Cempaka. There was a lot of suffering that the woman had experienced.
"You take it easy, Miss. I promise with my own life." Lucy said it resolutely and confidently without hesitation.
Cempaka smiled faintly, but did not turn his face away from the window.
"I hope you will never come to see me so that this situation is not known to him. I didn't expect him to come, really!" say Cempaka again mean it.
There was something he wanted to hide from the man and his wife. A secret known only to him and two faithful men leads him to carry out the control of the womb.
"I hope you never find out, but are you sure you'll hide it from the master, Miss?" Arjuna hoped for the same.
"Yes. I'll be gone soon after giving birth. Whatever you want, will it help me or not? I will go alone" said Cempaka with all my confidence.
"I'll never leave you, Miss. Wherever you go, I'll come with you" Lucy said, holding Cempaka's hand to reassure the woman of what she said.
Cempaka turned to her, smiling and grateful.
"Thank you for being there for me, but I don't know where to go after this. Aren't you a problem? What about your family?" Cempaka asks reassuring Lucy's choice of heart.
However, the woman with two children was smiling, light and without burden.
"I know where we're going. That's also if you don't mind then, I'll take you there" Lucy said confidently.
"No problem, I'll come along as long as it'll guarantee my safety." Cempaka replied with resignation.
Lucy nodded slowly, she had already determined where they were going after Cempaka gave birth. Far from the city, and far from the reach of Caesar.
"Let me drive-"
"No! You're so close to him, he'll always need you. You can't drive us. Just make sure that our departure is not known by him," interrupted Cempaka quickly considering Arjuna is Caesar's accomplice.
The young man was gamang, one side of his heart justifies Cempaka's speech and the other side wants to protect the woman. Arjuna fell silent, as did the two women in the back seat. Until their car entered the hospital parking area, away from Caesar's car was parked.
From inside the car, Cempaka could see the man had Eva walking. Friendly and like a husband on standby. In fact, the one that actually contained was behind him. Behind them, several families came along to see the examination.
"Come, Miss!" Arjuna opened the door, Cempaka wearing a mask as well as sunglasses before exiting.
They take different paths, go straight to the doctor and create a scenario. Cempaka and Lucy and Arjuna are in the doctor's room, hidden away. Eva and Caesar were in the examination room.
"Gee. Baby's healthy. Look, is that!" one of the family members was excited.
Oh, they've been deceived. It did not come from Eva's womb or from Cempaka's womb, but from the womb of another woman whom Cempaka had hired to keep her secret.
"They sound happy" whispered Lucy in the employer's ear.
"Just let them be happy now, see when their happiness will last?" Cempaka commented on the cynical smile.
Until Caesar and his entourage left, they remained in hiding. The doctor came over with the pregnant woman, and began to examine Cempaka.
"Doctor, I hope you're keeping these twin pregnancies a secret like you're keeping Miss Eva's fake pregnancy a secret. Help me, Doctor," ask Cempaka after the examination is done.
The middle-aged doctor smiled, and nodded for sure. He has made a pact with Cempaka to keep his twin pregnancies a secret from Caesar. Just like Caesar and Eva had done with him.
"You don't have to worry, Miss. After knowing the truth, I thought back to telling you this. You deserve the child in your womb" the doctor posted a smile of relief on Cempaka's lips.
"Thank you, Doctor."
"Don't hesitate!"
