The sun sets with Cempaka's arrival at the Aryan family's main house. The gate painted black is still sturdy standing even though the owner has long been left behind. The gatekeeper swiftly opened the way for them, the cold immediately welcomed.
Shady trees of various types of fruit, flowers that bloom along the yard, welcome their arrival. What a soothing sight to the eyes. In fact, in it only stands a simple building that is polished pure white paint. Very awake, well-maintained, and completely unoccupied like an uninhabited home.
"Is this the big lady's house?" muttered Cempaka unconsciously. His tone of voice implied an incredible admiration. Throughout his eyes, he was amazed by the atmosphere around the house.
"Yes, Miss. The mistress is very simple, and very fond of plants. All the trees and flowers that grow here, are the work of his own hands" replied the driver with a proud smile that was reviewed.
Lucy herself is speechless, very much different from the situation in Eva's luxurious home.
"That's why he built a house in this region?" Cempaka asked again.
"Yes, Miss. The door of this house is always open to the community. Only since he died, the gate was always closed. Madam is very friendly to neighbors, do not hesitate to help if there is trouble. Never boasted of his status as an honorable Aryan family. In fact, some of them do not know him as the son-in-law of a prominent family. That's the madam."
Cempaka and Lucy look at each other, a life lived by a great mistress like heaven and earth when they see Lisa and Eva. They're not like mistresses. In fact, Caesar was too proud to be the son of the woman the driver had told him about.
The car stopped right in front of the terrace, the main door had opened and the butler there was already standing waiting for him. One worker opened the door for them, and the other opened the trunk carrying the suitcase with the driver.
Cempaka and Lucy were amazed by the welcome. Unlike at Eva's house, no one cares about her. Everyone thinks of them as workers.
"Welcome, Miss. We are glad you came to visit!" greet the butler with a polite bowed body.
"Sorry, sir, but I'm just a guest here." Cempaka felt he did not deserve that respect. He was a nobody of the Aryan family, but was welcomed in such a way.
The butler straightened his body, smiling his lips as he sat down with Cempaka beads.
"Persis like the late mistress. Mari! I'll take you to your room. This is your home, we've been waiting for your arrival since the announcement of the heir." The man's hand jutted inward, allowing Cempaka to enter.
Hearing that, Cempaka was getting confused. He did not expect to inherit the property of the Aryan family at all. In fact, dreaming is not. He stepped in followed Lucy though with a confused and doubtful heart.
"Who is the heir you mean?" tanya Cempaka aligned the steps with the butler.
"Master told us that there will come descendants from the Aryan family who will inherit this house. Not from Miss Eva, but from the others. This morning we got word that you were coming." He smiled kindly, much different from Yudi.
Cempaka glanced at Lucy, all things that happened broke Lucy's perception that Aryan master was full of tricks.
"This is the main room. Now it's your room. The room for the two young masters and the young lady, was next to this room. There will be two nannies who will help you take care of them while staying here" the butler said as he opened the door.
A very spacious room, inside there is a large bed that is neatly arranged and clean. There is no seedy impression let alone a creepy impression because it has long been uninhabited. The state of the room was still the same as anyone occupying.
A large cabinet of the best wood still looks sturdy, a dressing table with a large mirror is next to it. A large window with white curtains facing directly on the flower garden. Not forgetting the bathroom. That was more than enough for them to live together.
"Can my kids just sleep here? I'm not used to sleeping alone" said Cempaka after observing the state of the room.
"of course. As your request, Miss. Rest, we'll prepare dinner for you." The butler bowed while retreating while taking Lucy out and into his room.
Cempaka felt the big closet, opened it, and how surprised he was when all the clothes had been neatly arranged in it including the clothes belonging to the Twins.
"We have a home, baby." Cempaka approached his two children who he put on the floor. He changed their clothes, bathing the two in warm water.
The feeling of haru filled the recesses of his soul at this time, Mr. Arya really loved his two grandchildren even though it was born from the womb of a woman who did not want the child.
After bathing the two, Cempaka lay down on the bed with them. Putting the Twins to bed on a soft mattress.
Wh-tok-tok!
"Miss, we brought a bed for young ladies and gentlemen!"
Cempaka who was breastfeeding the two, hurriedly got up and closed the chest.
"Come in!"
The door opened, two male workers pushed a large baby box into the room. They arranged it according to Cempaka's wishes. After that, they left and let the lady rest.
"Look, you guys even have your own bed here. Mommy won't worry about you falling when you wake up and there's no Mommy in the room" said Cempaka, trembling full of water.
The twins laughed, but their mouths were wide open, yawning with the sleepiness. Cempaka back breastfeeding both, one by one the Twins fell asleep earlier is baby Zia. Following baby Zio who suckles is not enough for a while.
Very carefully Cempaka moved them into the box. Comfortable once they sleep, he saw the two faces that sleep. Kissed their foreheads. Unknowingly tears trickle down, the end of a journey brings happiness. Everything is not as bitter as bile.
"Manda!"
Lucy knocks on the door and then opens it, from near the baby box Cempaka puts an index finger on her lips asking her not to make a rowdy sound. Lucy nodded and smiled.
Cempaka approached, both of them sitting on the sofa while watching the Twins from behind the box.
"I'm sorry for not trusting Mr. Arya all along. I think he just wants to take your heart and after that, separate you guys. After seeing all this, I realized that lord Arya really does love you and your two children." Lucy clasped Cempaka's hand.
There was a hint of guilt lodged in his heart towards lord Arya who was for as long as good. True what Cempaka said, he was good. It's just that Lucy's eyes are closed because they already hate her.
"It's okay, Lucy. Everyone has a good and bad side in them. We should not underestimate the goodness of others because we ourselves are not necessarily able to do good as they do. You see now, my son's future has hope. They've got a house to shelter from the heat and rain."
Cempaka sighed, looking up at the ceiling of the room, holding back the water from falling off his throne.
"They will not live in lack. There I will love them, there's you, there's his grandfather who pays attention to them." Cempaka again lowered his gaze, looking at Lucy with a smile.
"Thank you for being with me all this time, Lucy. You were my only family before Mr. Arya admitted to us. I'll never forget everything we've been through." Cempaka hugged Lucy, the novelty in his heart managed to drop water from the fertilizer that immediately swept Cempaka.
