Young Lecturer Love Cage

Young Lecturer Love Cage
Chapter 2

A clear morning with a clear blue sky of white clouds. Inside the room of the Dean of one of the majors, an elderly male Dean with a few wrinkles clearly visible on his face stood facing the striped window. His gaze was flat staring at the Dean's garden which was quite spacious from behind the window of his room. One of his hands he put in his pants pocket.

"You wouldn't be involved in something like that, would you, Sabiel?" ask him to the young lecturer who was sitting in his room.

"Calm down, I'm not interested in being one of the culprits in that cheap gossip." she said.

"However I'm a little worried, because you're a pretty handsome young lecturer here. You can easily become a target for college students." said the Dean as he smoked his cigarette butts.

"Throw away your worries, Mr. Dean, there's nothing to worry about. I'm not a guy who likes to be involved in a complicated relationship like you think. I'm not interested in things like that."

"I hold your word. I just don't want as long as I'm still a Dean here, there's a case that tarnishes the credibility of our majors." the Dean said, looking at Sabiel who sat in the guest chair.

"You can trust me" Sabiel said confidently.

"Stop speaking formally to me, Sabiel" he said withstanding the growl of hearing the formal language Sabiel had used since. "How's your wife doing?" the Dean walked over to Sabiel and sat down on the chair beside Sabiel.

Sabiel chuckled at the tone of the protest. "good. Right now he is looking to work abroad, he wants to accept a job in a Singapore company to become a Designer." Sabiel looked lazy to tell a story.

"Is your relationship with her okay?" The Dean squinted his probing eyes.

The Dean named Sanjaya was well acquainted with lecturer Sabiel. More precisely, Dean Sanjaya is a close friend of Sabiel's late parents. Sabiel's parents died while Sabiel was studying abroad. They died in an accident while on vacation.

Sabiel, who is the only child, already considers Dean Sanjaya as his father's successor. He often stayed at home, especially when his parents were dead. Sabiel's closeness with Sanjaya who is like a father and son, makes Sanjaya know for sure what problems occur in the household of his best friend's child. Even Sanjaya often advises Sabiel to part with his wife when her household problems are getting on the edge.

Intans. The woman Sabiel edited 7 years ago is a woman whose ambition is to continue a career. She is an example of a feminist woman who always demands her right to get a glorious opportunity to achieve her career as a famous designer.

His selfish and stubborn attitude often makes Sabiel careless, to the point where he wants to give up. But when Sabiel wants to give up his relationship with diamond, he is always haunted by his own promise to his late mother-in-law not to give up on Intan. So that for the umpteenth time he again undoes his intention to part with his wife.

"The sea of your face says that your relationship is still not good with him." Sanjaya concluded when there was no response from Sabiel who seemed to be idly fixated.

"Mother knows for himself, right?!" Sabiel gave up his formal attitude to his adoptive father.

"I'm surprised, 7 years you've been dealing with a wife like that. But still reluctant to part with him." said Sanjaya as he offered a snack in front of Sabiel.

"Does she still not want to have children?" Sanjaya asked seriously. In the eyeball implied a feeling of pity for the condition that befell the young lecturer before him.

Seven years into marriage, Intan is reluctant to have children on the grounds that the existence of a child will hinder his career. Even when it was the first night, Intan had selfishly consumed the Pill without Sabiel's permission and consent as her husband. Intan did not intend to have children after marriage, he wanted to focus on his career as a talented young designer who was then being glimpsed by various famous brands.

"I don't know how far he's going to go." Sabiel was reluctant to remember what Intan had done with the Pill that kept him from returning home for weeks.

"You're crazy Sabiel. You spend your time for free." Sanjaya was very upset with Sabiel's attitude that did not decide to separate from Intan. "It's time you thought about your happiness, forget your promise to your in-laws. He'll understand if he knows how his son behaves as a wife" she continued, holding back the chest.

"How's Mom doing?" Sabiel forced a change of subject.

"He's fine. Just so you know Sabiel, your foster mother is the same as me. He's worried about you. If you remember Intan's attitude is very far from good words as a wife." Sanjaya tries to continue convincing Sabiel to separate from his wife who is more concerned with his career than his role as a wife.

"That's it, you guys need to stop worrying about me. I'm doing fine. Intan's problem, let me take care of it myself." Sabiel calmed the old man before him. He realized the problem of the household has been quite complicated, seven years is not a short time for him to continue to be patient with all Intan's attitude. Maybe now is the time he should forget his promise to his mother-in-law, and start thinking about the happy home life with many children he dreamed of long ago.

"I have to go back to class. Later that night if I have time, I will visit to see my mother." Sabiel said as he stood up from his seat. Followed Sanjaya behind her.

"Bring her a lily, so you won't have to listen to her talk later" Sanjaya half-whispered as she walked side by side with Sabiel to the door of the room. A grin was present at the corner of his lips, when he recalled how pleased his wife was at the lilies.

"definitely. The lily will be the savior of my ears." Sabiel replied as he chuckled gently at his adoptive father.

He stared at some of the faces of the students who looked so full because since the morning packed with lecture material. Some of the students sitting in the back row seemed to be teasing the student sitting right in front of him. I don't know what they said until the girls hit their heads one by one with their sling bags. In another corner, his eyes saw the student who was busy talking about plans after college. Sounded they call one of the hits places in the city of Bandung which lately is being loved by young people. They're probably going there.

"Sir." a beautiful student raised one hand. Ready to ask questions.

"yeah. Please." Sabiel allowed the student to express his question. When the condition of the class was quiet, they wanted to hear also the question of the beautiful student.

"Have you married?" ask the student who seemed doubtful and embarrassed. Several friends on her right left side seemed to support the student's question.

"It." Sabiel answered briefly which then received a disappointed appeal from the class.

"It must be a lie." one of the Berhodie students denied Sabiel's statement. The other students seemed to be in denial as well.

"I'm married" Sabiel said with great emphasis as he pointed a ring around his finger.

"Huuuuuhhh." the cheers of the students blaringly filled the classroom.

Only the mid-haired girl who was sitting in the middle did not seem to care about Sabiel's announcement. His eyes closed with his hands propping up his chin. Sometimes the girl seemed to nod her head slowly. Follows the music that is heard from the headset that he wears on his ear.

The look of Sabiel's eyes were immediately fixed on the girl's figure, he took off his glasses while still looking carefully at the beautiful girl. A gratuitous question about his wife that was thrown by some students he did not ignore. His view was drugged by the indifference shown by one student in his class.

Tuk.

The sound of the table is knocked. Laura opened her eyes slowly, her eyes down the body figure that stood looming before her.

"Ah.. I'm sorry, is the class over?!" ask Laura. His eyes split to see only a few of the students still in the classroom.

It turned out that the boring question and answer session had ended a while ago.

"What are you listening to?" Sabiel sat in the seat before Laura. He deliberately pulled the headset still tucked in the girl's ear, and tucked it into her ear.

"Beethoven" said Laura, smiling awkwardly.

"What a taste. Isn't it very rare for students here to listen to classical melodies like this?!" sabiel asked in amazement.

"Very rare, doesn't mean there's nothing at all, does it?!" Laura grinned happily.

Sabiel nodded in agreement. The girl in front of him seemed fun to talk to.

"Laura!" rena's shout made the two men turn their heads to look at Rena who was standing in the doorway.

"Attent." Laura answered while fixing her book. While Sabiel takes off the headset he was wearing for him to return to Laura.

"I'm sorry sir, I'm saying goodbye first" he said politely.

Sabiel simply nodded without a word. She still noticed Laura stepping out of the room and smilingly approaching her friend.

"An interesting girl." she murmured inwardly.
