Young Lecturer Love Cage

Young Lecturer Love Cage
Chapter 16

Two days later.

Laura's father's condition improved after several days of intensive care in the hospital. Of course it made Laura and her uncle and aunt smile with relief. The days of their anxiety have passed. Now Laura's father, accompanied by his son and his sister, who is none other than Laura's uncle, is preparing to return home.

Laura and her uncle seemed busy packing things, her own father just sat quietly in a wheelchair while watching the two people tidying up the luggage. Aunt Laura was at home, she was also busy preparing all the needs of her sister-in-law who was about to go home.

The sparkle of pleasure was clearly emanated in Laura's dark brown eyeball. He was so happy, seeing his father's recovery.

"Have Laura finished?" tanya Ali, his uncle asked when he was finished packing one item that would be brought directly into his personal car. He saw Laura still packing a few more items that he joined into one.

"Proment uncle." Laura just made a rope knot on her trunk. "Well, I've." Laura smiled brightly.

After looking at the items that are ready to be brought home. Ali moved first, he carried both large items in his left right hand for him to put in the trunk of the car.

"You wait here with your father. Uncle bring these things first." Ali said as he began to step out of the room.

Not long after Ali came out, Laura's phone rang. His eyes immediately saw the phone he took out from inside his sling bag. Sabiel.

"Hello?" greet Laura.

"Laura, give me the address of the hospital where your father was treated" Sabiel said in a hurry across the street.

"What?!" Laura wonder.

"Give me your father's hospital address, Laura." Sabiel repeated his words.

"What's wrong?" asked Laura curiously.

"I am now in Jakarta" Sabiel said casually.

"In Jakarta? What are you doing here?" Laura could not hide her surprise.

"Ish, yesterday I had business at the University of Indonesia. Why don't you just visit your father." Sabiel tried to convince her.

Actually he deliberately came to Jakarta to meet Laura. The business at the University of Indonesia is just the reason. The days without seeing the girl in class made her almost go crazy resisting longing. When Laura said the other day that her father was coming home soon, Sabiel immediately took the initiative to come and return to Bandung with Laura. He wanted to stay at Laura's house. Or if it turns out that Laura does not allow it, she will still look for hotels or lodging for her to rest. To be sure, he will return to Bandung with the girl.

"Matraman, the name of the hospital is Jakarta Heart Hospital." Laura who did not have any suspicions on Sabiel, gave the address of the hospital. "Come here, because we'll be home soon" Laura said later.

Sabiel smiled happily. Laura's orders with a resolute tone touched her heart. He felt that his arrival was being awaited by the girl. At least that's what Sabiel believed.

"OKs. Wait for me." he said straightforwardly.

As soon as the phone was turned off, Sabiel immediately increased the speed of his car. He could not wait to meet the girl who had disturbed his sleep for days. Thinking about Laura, it really made her moody.

After all the long administrative affairs of the hospital, they went straight home when Sabiel arrived at the hospital courtyard. When he arrived in front of Laura's father and uncle, Sabiel only had time to introduce himself as Laura's friend in Bandung. The questionable gaze of course is clearly visible from the look on the faces of father and uncle Laura, because the figure of Sabiel looks so mature if made just a friend. But because at that time they were about to rush home, neither uncle nor father Laura did not ask any questions to Laura for the presence of a handsome adult man who wanted to come home with them.

Fatigue instantly ambushed Laura that afternoon. He was with his uncle and was helped by Sabiel just finished unloading all the luggage from the hospital.

On the porch of the house, they were greeted by Laura's aunt and nephew. The views of the two men were immediately fixed on the foreign figure in the middle of their families.

Without asking much, Dian and Dawn immediately tidied up all the items. While Laura, after allowing Sabiel to enter, she drove her father to clean up because it was already afternoon.

"Come on, consider it your own home. No need to hesitate." said Dian smiled kindly at Sabiel when taking the last luggage removed from the trunk of the car.

"Yes aunty, thank you." said Sabiel.

"Let's go in." Ali patted Sabiel's shoulder from behind. Bring him in too. "Laura was helping her father clean up first" she told Sabiel who was about to sit in the guest chair.

After being invited in, Sabiel accompanied by uncle Laura sat in the living room. Before long Dian came to bring a plate of afternoon snacks and drinks.

"Let's eat son?" dian thought a little doubtfully.

"Sabiel aunty." Sabiel answered the confusion of the forty-five-year-old woman before him.

"Oh Sabiel's. Let's try the food for Sabiel." said Dian warmly while sitting next to her husband.

After bringing her father's wheelchair closer to where her uncle and aunt were sitting, Laura walked over to take her place across the table, next to Sabiel's seat. Sabiel seemed nervous surrounded by Laura's family, he felt like he was in an interrogation room with officers who would search for him with many questions.

"Sabiel knows where Laura is?" the first question that came out of Rama's mouth, Laura's father started the conversation that afternoon.

"Know.. Get to know on campus om." replied Sabiel awkwardly.

Rama and his sister and sister-in-law saw the awkwardness of Sabiel's lips and face that looked stiff. They smiled gently at the man.

"No need to be awkward, just call me." Rama tried to calm Sabiel's nervousness. "Lear friends of Laura always call om, dad. So Sabiel's son, too, call om, just dad." he continued.

"Where does Sabiel work?" Ali asked when she realized the clothes Sabiel was wearing were like office clothes. Complete with shiny black panthopel shoes.

"She was Laura's lecturer, uncle." said Laura looking at her uncle, father and aunt. "Young lecturer." continued again when he saw the shocked expression of his family. Sabiel who saw the shock of Laura's family only smiled clumsyly.

"Geez, lecturer Laura turns out." strangled Dian in disbelief as she patted the thigh of her smiling husband staring at Sabiel across the table.

After learning the interesting facts about Sabiel's profession, the discussion that afternoon continued casually. All the questions about his life, he answered well. One thing he was grateful for was the many questions that Laura's father, uncle, and aunt asked at the time. There is not a single question that leads to her marital status.

Either way, it's possible that Laura's family thinks that it's impossible for a married man to suddenly come to visit a girl's family. So they felt no need to ask the status of Sabiel who was married or not. Moreover, seeing Laura's comfortable and unrelenting attitude in front of her boyfriend, made her family sure that there was nothing to ask about Sabiel's status.

Laura couldn't possibly allow married men to get close to her. That's what all Laura's family had in mind.

That evening's twilight was a while away from the end of the horizon. The color of the sky preparing gray will turn black.

The snack on the table of the living room was devoured alternately by the people who were there. Sabiel's awkward and clumsy attitude was lost because of Laura's family's very warm reception. Sabiel became more free to laugh when Laura's aunt's father and uncle told her of Laura's cuteness as a child.

Sabiel also learned thanks to Laura's aunt's report that since Laura's school, many have liked her. Even until there are men who come to their house in the early hours, only to give Laura a bouquet of fresh flowers and a small box of swiss chocolates. Worse yet, Laura bluntly told the man that she could not accept flowers because of a pollen allergy. While the box of chocolate he received for him to give to Fajar, his nephew.

Everyone in the room laughed in satisfaction as Laura's aunt continued the story that she had to make red spots on Laura's face and hands and feet just to make the poor man believe that Laura has a pollen allergy.

"Already, stop. It's the past, after all who told her to come in the morning blind." Laura snorted bitterly considering the behavior of the man who chased her first.

"Ok ok, the perpetrator started to take offense." ledek Dian saw Laura snorting as loud as possible.

Sabiel wiped the corner of his watery eyes laughing at Laura. His chest was so airy and warm in the circle of people who loved each other so much. Her eyes looked so unfortunately they were on Laura. So did Laura, her newly realized efficacious attitude Sabiel at that time proved that the girl grew up with abundant warmth and affection. Sabiel feels lucky to be the man who knows the other side of Laura who looks indifferent and assertive while on campus.

Without them knowing, Sabiel secretly fantasized, what if Laura to become his wife later. Of course Laura will grow up to be a loving wife later. Moreover, Sabiel saw how Laura behaved to all her family. Laura's concern for her father, her worry when she sees her aunt choking on a snack, or her caretaker attitude when Dawn comes in the middle of a conversation by complaining about the many tasks she has to complete and asking Laura to teach her. It was obvious that the girl loved her little family.

Those attitudes are what make Sabiel more motivated to get Laura and make her a wife in the future. Sabiel needs the attitude that Laura has. Sabiel wanted to feel how loved, cared for and be the person Laura cared about every day.

"Sabiel's sister stayed here." Laura's father's words roused her from a small delusion about the ideal life she dreamed of with Laura.

"Yes. Sabiel's just staying over. I'll sleep in the guest room." Ali added.

"No need for father, uncle. I can stay at the inn. It's too much trouble if I stay here." Sabiel pretended to refuse, but in his heart he cheered happily waiting for it.

"Iishhh, what a hassle. Laura's friend nothing is troublesome." Dina. "Laura, get the guest room ready." Dina immediately had Laura check the room where Sabiel was going to stay.

Laura stood up from her seat,

"Stay by." he said with a warm smile as he crossed Sabiel's seat and stared at Sabiel's eyes, looking up at him who was standing close to Sabiel.
