Chapter 1

Laura did not stop looking at her body in front of the mirror, ascertaining whether her appearance was good enough or not to immediately leave for campus.

This is the first year he started a new life as a student at one of the universities in Bandung. After completing the period of student orientation, now is the time for Laura to start her lecture.

"Hi, I'm Rena." said a woman of her age who sat next to Laura.

"Laura." Laura smiled kindly.

"I know." said Rena casually. "They've been talking about you since MOS (Student Orientation Time) yesterday." Rena pointed at the group of men sitting in the back with her thumbs without turning their heads.

Laura's eyes widened, she leaned on Rena.

"What are they talking about me?" tanyanya whispered curiously.

Rena smiled at the ignorance of Laura who was so innocent in her eyes. This beautiful woman has unconsciously become the lips and center of attention of the adam.

"Beauty you they're talking about" said Rena no less whispering. And managed to make Laura's face blush because of embarrassment.

Laura straightened her body, facing forward. A little awkward with Rena's words. She was uncomfortable with people's praise for her beauty.

"You didn't feel like you were a prima donna at MOS yesterday?" asked Rena leaning her body towards Laura.

"No. What's so good about being a prima donna?" answer Laura cuek.

A clean white face, a slender pointed nose, plus tiny lips and round eyes with plump eyelashes, and, the result of the combination of his father who has Turkish blood and his mother sundanese blood has certainly succeeded in making anyone who looks at Laura think she is a beautiful girl.

That is what makes Laura dubbed the prima donna campus by her friends. But for Laura herself, the opinion of her friends who cultured her as a campus prima don't mean anything. She seemed to not care, because for Laura sometimes beauty will actually backfire on her own.

The thought didn't just come out of Laura's head, she thought so because she had almost been a victim of sexual harassment in her school first. At that time there was a boy at school who liked Laura, but when Laura tried to reject him, the man did not accept to force his will on Laura at school. Fortunately it did not happen, because the school guard managed to catch the action of the man. And save Laura from a forced missile.

"You're funny Laura, when other women want to be adored by other men for their beauty, you don't even seem to care about their praise of you." Rena smiled faintly staring at Laura's astonishment.

"You don't know, that pretty face can sometimes be toxic to you" Laura said. "How many perverted men want to impress a beautiful woman? How many beautiful women should end up being common enemies to other women who envy her?" Laura felt she had to explain the devastating effects of the face that the men adored.

"It's all because of this face? Which they thought was pretty" Laura wrapped her face around her index finger.

"Alright, whatever you think." Rena was quite amazed to hear Laura's words. "More important than that, let's be friends." Rena held out her hand sincerely wanting to have a good relationship with Laura.

Instantly Laura smiled warmly looking gently at Rena. He accepted Rena's hand as a sign of agreeing to Rena's invitation to be his friend. This is the beginning of his college, it means the beginning is also for him to start new friendships with friends on his campus.

A few minutes later, the class door opened. A young lecturer walked with a carry-on bag on his right arm. While his eyes looked coldly at the students who had been neatly sitting on the right and left side of the classroom.

"Good morning everyone." he said flatly when he was at the lecturer's desk, and was immediately answered by all the students present.

"Include me, I'm Sabiel. Lecturer of your course today." he said confidently. He walked a little closer to the first row of tables that were in front of him. His hand moved to put the glasses that he had been holding on the collar of his shirt. And start a lecture session with the new student.

There were whispers from behind Laura and Rena, whispers coming out of the mouths of girls who were busy talking about Sabiel's appearance which was still quite handsome and dashing for men his age.

The whispers continued to be heard throughout the lecture, both Laura and Rena did not care, they buried their heads to focus on the dictates on their respective tables.

The first day of college didn't seem to end. Laura stretched her stiff body, she looked at Rena who was ready to get out of her chair.

"Let's Laura." take Rena while standing from her seat.

"okay." Laura stood up, and they stepped towards the classroom door.

Without them noticing Sabiel walking behind them, he saw Laura and Rena walking side by side. Laura's hand moved to tap her hair straight over her shoulder, she tidied a few strands of hair for then she put together into a thumb and tied up. The pure white neck was clearly visible to Sabiel who was right behind him, he stared with a flat look.

"Eh wait for Rena, I seem to have forgotten something on the table." Laura stopped walking when she remembered something.

Without a second thought, he immediately turned his body rough.

His head immediately hit the hard chest of a person. While complaining with his busy hand rubbing his forehead. He saw who he hit just now.

"Ah, sorry sir" said Laura apologizing to Sabiel who was now in front of her.

"Other times you have to be careful when turning around" she said coldly as she walked away leaving the awkward-looking Laura.

Rena who saw it only chuckled to see the face of Laura who had paled because she hit their lecturer.

"Damn!" murmured Laura went straight to the table and picked up something left there and then left the class again.

After college, Laura returned to the dormitory. She does live there, Laura's father has not allowed her to rent an indekost as his place to stay.

In the campus dormitory, each occupant's room is filled by two students, Laura room with a new student from the department of Chemistry.

"Have you come?" ask Laura's roommate who was a bully when Laura opened the room door.

"As you can see." Laura went straight to her bed and laid down there.

In one room there are two single-sized mattresses with each study table beside it. While near the door, stood two medium-sized cabinets to accommodate the clothes of Laura and Gisel, her roommate.

"Laura, this weekend will be held an inaugural party dormitory. Are you coming?" gisel asked, looking at Laura who was busy relaxing.

"Isn't that a special event for seniors?" Laura looked up at her friend.

"I heard the rules were changed. They invited new students to come." Gisel.

"Oh. I'm lazy, it looks like I'll just stay here." Laura cuek refused.

"Aishis. I don't want to go alone. I don't know anybody here but you." Gisel pursed his lips. His gaze again looked at the lecture dictatorship that he was opening violently.

"We'll see." Laura broke up again.

The next night they both went to the television room. There they saw some maba (new students) were stuck watching together. The dormitory building consists of three floors. The first floor is filled by the same level as the third floor, while on the second floor almost all rooms are filled by maba. Each floor is also facilitated by the tv room. This is where all the maba get together and start getting acquainted with each other.

"Oh My God, if there's such a man I'll go after him until I can." Gisel commented on the movie they were watching.

"Hey. Have you heard the news?" asked a bespectacled maid half-whispering.

"What news?" ask another one.

"The rumors, lately around the campus are rife cases of student and lecturer relations" said the bespectacled master.

Instantly some of the maba who were in the room immediately looked at him, close themselves to listen to the issues they would hear. The news made them curious. Except for Laura, she chose to be silent regardless of the sly gossip related to the romance of lecturers and students.

Actually the gossip of student and lecturer relations is no longer a new story around the campus, it is an old story that is constantly repeated and spread by word of mouth.

Starting from the incident caught the wetness of a lecturer of one of the majors, who was doing vulgar scenes in the library room when the lecture hours had ended. The lecturer who already had a wife did the profanity with his students when the condition of the library was closed, but unfortunately it was known by two library guards who had not returned home.

The two guards immediately reported the immoral actions of the lecturer and student to the Dean of the Department. After the reporting, out of nowhere the original news asusila lecturer was smelled by others, then spread into campus gossip which eventually often used as a topic of conversation, both at the level of lecturers and fellow students.

Until now, the case has been told from time to time. While the lecturers and students involved have resigned from the campus because it is not strong to be used as gossip material for all people on campus.
