Chapter 74: Shake up

At seven o'clock Abhimanyu arrived at his residence. He walked behind Caca entering the house. His steps looked gontai. His face looked very worried. Abhimanyu's mind that had been out of focus since last night was now increasingly troubled to hear the news of his cousin suddenly returned.

How could?

The question kept ringing in his head. He could not finish his job today. His mind was already unable to focus on work and several questions were lodged in his head.

“Dean is here to apologize to you and Caca,” said Nabila. The woman rubbed her son's thighs gently.

One swoop came out of Abhimanyu's lips. The young man looked very lazy to respond. He simply cleared his throat to answer his mother's words.

Nabila did not believe in Abhimanyu's reaction. He knew his son and Dean weren't very close. Even Abhimanyu often told me about Dean who was always indifferent to him. However, during that time Nabila always instilled in his son not to reciprocate Dean's attitude. Abhimanyu did what his mother advised him to do, but somehow this time Abhimanyu behaved differently.

After apologizing to his ex-girlfriend, Dean looked back at Abhimanyu.

Several times Caca saw Abhimanyu's reaction. She didn't expect her husband to be like that. All that actually makes Caca so doubtful with his trust in the husband. However, Caca also did not want to be affected, it could be that Abhimanyu behaved so because he was very disappointed with what had happened between them.

“I know maybe an Abhimanyu won't believe what I say.” Dean's words caught Abhimanyu's attention. “But, here I'm really sorry about Abi for getting her dragged into our problem. And if Abi wants me to take responsibility, I'm willing to replace Abi as Moon's husband.”

Caca was unmoved in his place, not knowing what to do. The girl looked at her husband's entire family and her gaze stopped on the ex-lover. Seeing the condition of the young man made Caca more and more pity. However, Caca could not do anything either.

Kean and Celin thanked his former son-in-law. Then they say goodbye to Nabila and Arjuna. They again apologized for what used to happen to involve one of their sons being dragged away.

As he closed the door, he heard someone talking on the balcony. Caca was sure it was Abhimanyu. Who else is in the room besides them?.

Somehow Caca wondered who Abhimanyu was talking to. Until Caca was right behind Abhimanyu, Caca heard a sentence that made her waver to believe in her husband.
