Will Not Be Substituted
Chapter 113: Return

“Caca where the hell is it? Why never bales chat us.”

Maya propped her chin on her fist. Caca has been absent from class for almost a week. There was no news from the woman or her husband.

“She has also been a long time not making stories on instagram,” timpal Sofi after putting her phone on the table.

He just checked his mailbox with Caca. It says the last time Caca opened the messaging app was four days ago.

“Busy times, yes?”

“But not possible until absent this time, May.”

The two girls exhaled heavily. They were both afraid that something might happen to Caca and received no news at all. However, they also could not visit Caca's house carelessly like they used to. Moreover, sometimes Caca lives in the house of his in-laws, so they hesitate to visit there.

Maya and Sofi are still engrossed in thinking about how Caca is doing right now. Until the arrival of someone made Maya like getting enlightenment.

The sweet girl with straight hair stood up and approached a friend of Abhimanyu's. The appearance of a very cold does not make Maya hesitate to say hello.

“Kak Aldo,”

With a very sharp gaze Aldo looked at Maya. His forehead frowned to find out who this girl who had called her name in public was.

“Kak Aldo to here same Brother Abi not?” asked Maya without being bothered by Aldo's gaze.

“Nggak.”

One very upsetting answer for Maya. However, the girl tried to be patient and again asked where Abhimanyu was at the moment. Perhaps Abhimanyu and Caca were on vacation and only Abhimanyu informed his friend.

“Gue don't know.”

Indifferent Aldo replied. His body had turned around wanting to stay away from the strange girl. However, he felt his hands blocked and made his eyes move there.

“Eh, sorry-sorry, Brother. Not on purpose.” Maya smiled awkwardly.

“Sister Aldo really-do not know where Brother Abi is now? Can you call Abi? I just want to know the news Caca aja, Kak.”

Like he had cut off his own sham vein. Maya pleads with a man she doesn't know just to get word of her best friend.

“Cannot. I'm busy!” aldo answered sarcastically. Without saying goodbye, he steps away from Maya.

“Hih! Proud to be a person,” Maya grumbled while stomping her feet.

From his seat, Sofi could only shake her head. Maya's courage to ask a human being dubbed the thousand-door refrigerator deserves a thumbs up. In their faculty no one dared to rebuke Aldo except his futsal friends. The handsome man who had a twin brother was so cold and did not say much.

“Mending us to Caca cafe, May. Who knows if he's there. Well, at least we can ask what the conditions are to the employees,” proposed Sofi when Maya was still busy grumbling Aldo's attitude earlier.

Maya just nodded. After the class is over they will slide to the Caca cafe and find out the news of the woman there.

**

It was almost evening when Abhimanyu arrived at his father-in-law's residence. After a few days of working from home to accompany his wife, today he returned to his actual routine. In fact, he could not focus on his work. His head continued to fill with the state of the wife that could not be considered good.

These few days Caca was just silently pondering. It was like he had no spirit anymore. Even Caca had no intention of going to college. But the good news is, Caca no longer talks about his hatred for the fetus he was carrying.

Several times Abhimanyu convinced Caca to no longer say such heinous things. After all, the fetus is innocent. Regardless of whose seed the fetus is formed.

Faintly Abhimanyu's ears caught Caca's voice sounding quite heavy. Her crying is still very obvious.

“Why do I always disappoint you? Especially Abi. I can't keep my honor for her as my husband and now I'm pregnant with someone else's child.”

“Ca, don't be like that, Nak.” Banyu's heavy voice tried to calm the princess.

Banyu did not expect the life of his eldest daughter would be so difficult like this. He only hoped that God would strengthen Caca and Abhimanyu's shoulders to solve their current problems.

“Abi must be disgusted by me, Yah.” Caca's cry was muffled on her father's shoulder. The shoulder that used to always rest all the burdens of his life, which always accommodated his grief and tears.

“Abi that's not it, Ca. I'm sure he'll accept the boy. We don't know for sure whether he's Abi or Dean's son. And whoever the child is he is just an innocent fetus and we must take care of it with all our heart,” Banyu advice while rubbing his daughter's back.

These few days Banyu did not dare to discuss this with his daughter. She could not help herself and ended up crying in front of Caca. Not a single tear could be seen by Caca and her two other children. Today Banyu was as strong as he was in his heart and came back to face with Caca.

He wanted to strengthen the heart of the princess and hold her to stay on the straight path. Banyu had heard Caca wanted to abort his womb and Banyu would not let that happen.

The father and son were still hugging each other until they realized that Abhimanyu had returned from the office and was watching. Not wanting to interrupt his wife and father-in-law, Abhimanyu chose to go to the room and rushed to the bathroom.

**

At nine o'clock Caca stood alone on the balcony of the room. The woman's eyes are still swollen as a result of not stopping crying since four days ago. His mind is no longer confused. The woman seemed to be losing her direction. He doesn't know what else to do. It was enough that he disappointed Abhimanyu who loved him so much. It felt like Caca wanted to give up, but he wouldn't be able to do it either.

Abhimanyu was his backrest all along. If the man goes his life will no longer be worth anything. The presence of a very unwanted baby made his heart feel like a kite broke. Vacillating there to here is not necessarily the direction.

Caca's outstretched hand touched the surface of her stomach. He could feel life there. But Caca hated it too. Why should he come in this way. If only this baby had been present in the right way, perhaps Caca would have welcomed her with joy.

Caca's cheeks are back in tears. He felt guilty about the thought that had just crossed his mind. Right said her father and husband. This baby is innocent. He can't hate it. If he hates this baby, he hates the God who created him.

A sudden warm feeling ambushed. A thick blanket was perched on his shoulder. It was held up with large arms that were coiled around her waist. Caca was increasingly unable to hold back the pace of her tears. Again it was Abhimanyu who gave him great support to stay alive.

“I love you, Ca. I don't care about your situation right now. All I want is for us to stay together.”

The soft whisper softly. Entering Caca's increasingly hysterical soul.

“This baby.” Abhimanyu placed his hand on Caca's stomach and rubbed it gently.

“Maybe it is a form of God's cue that we are ready to take care of him. Didn't we often think we wouldn't be ready to have children before you graduated from college? Maybe we can't say that. In fact God who strengthens us to live the rigors of this life.”

“Bi”

“Let's take care of him with love. We give her a life worthy of her. Forget who his real father is. I will be his father from now until death picks me up someday.”

For the first time after some pensive time on her own, Caca hugged Abhimanyu first. The woman let the blanket fall. No matter the cold temperatures that attacked him that night, because in fact the shelter of Abhimanyu warmer than the embers though.

“Still, Bi. Thanks for always being my booster. Thanks for always receiving me for who I am.” Lirih Caca spoke behind her husband's neck.

Still with sobs that have not stopped, Caca returned to talking,

“I'm sorry I've always disappointed you, Bi. Sorry.”

“Never blame yourself and this baby Caca darling. He is not wrong, there is nothing wrong between the two of you.”

Caca nodded slowly without letting go of her arms to her husband. After several days of thinking about all the persuasions of Abhimanyu and his family, Caca decided to take care of the baby until birth. It doesn't matter who the baby's father is. He sure can get through all this easily. Abhimanyu's origin remained beside him.
