Will Not Be Substituted
Chapter 57: The Question

Early morning cold penetrates the skin of humans who are still asleep. Waking up some life just to pull back the blanket.

At three o'clock in the morning, Caca's inner self as she stared at the wall clock that was right in front of her eyes.

Caca tilted his body. Raise the blanket that has gone down to his hips. Her net was about to be shut down, but she stopped when she saw the peaceful face of her husband. In silence Caca observed Abhimanyu's closed eyes. It felt like Caca could not take his eyes off the young man.

Whether conscious or not, Caca stretched out her hand. Touching the side of Abhimanyu's face facing him. Swiping the cheek slowly, until Caca was completely aware of what he was doing. His hands were also drawn quickly. Caca did not want Abhimanyu to wake up because of it.

Caca looked back at Abhimanyu who was not disturbed by his touch. He chuckled at how Abhimanyu's lips opened during sleep.

“Why are you paying attention to me?” ask Caca lirih. He certainly didn't really dare to ask that, given their relationship was still very gray.

Caca sighed slowly. Folded both hands under his head. Caca was still looking at Abhimanyu until finally the net was closed again and he returned to dive into the dreamland.

“Naya to where, Bun?”

Caca just got into the kitchen. There was no sign of Naya being in the house as long as she came out of the room, making Caca wonder.

Her sister-in-law's daughter is still there. Nurtured by her mother-in-law. Last night the little girl also had time to sleep with him, only at midnight Naya woke up and eventually moved the bed in Nabila's room.

“Jalan-jalan samama dio. Mumpung weekend,” replied the woman while reviewing her smile.

Caca nodded in understanding. “Aided what, Bun?” Caca loosened his head to see what his mother-in-law was doing.

“Egg fry, yes, Ca. Naya wants to eat the same egg he said,” the woman's decree.

“Ready, Mother.” Segara Caca took the eggs from the refrigerator and processed them.

Both women were busy cooking. Sometimes they talk. Talk about a lot of things. Like Nabila's activities outside the city yesterday or asking for news of his brother-in-law who is still hospitalized.

Caca widened his eyes. He almost slapped Abhimanyu using a spoon that he used to fry the egg at this time.

“Good morning,” said the young man did not feel guilty at all.

Caca did not answer. He even looked away. Refocused on the frying pan that was in front of him.

Abhimanyu only gripped. He also moved closer to his mother. Plucking a piece of unprocessed tofu.

“Sepi really, where the hell, Bun?” abhimanyu asked with his mouth full.

“Ditelen first time, Bi.” Nabila shook her head. He had memorized the habit of Abhimanyu who liked to eat raw tofu, so he did not mind it. “Out, same streets Naya.”

“Sama Dio too?” Abhimanyu raised his eyebrows. “Kok I wasn't invited!” the young man shouted as his mother nodded.

“You woke up bad luck, Bi. Tumben really weekend wake up noon.”

Abhimanyu smiled. “The taste is good, Bun, if you sleep while you hug your wife. I don't want to wake up.” Abhimanyu chuckled as Caca threw a murderous spotlight at him.

The night after Caca went back to sleep, Abhimanyu opened his eyes. He heard the question Caca asked, though very softly. Without encouragement from where, Abhimanyu ventured to hug his wife's body this morning.

They wake up when the sun is up. Caca was almost angry, but it didn't. She felt that it was not wrong for Abhimanyu to do this to her, because she was Abhimanyu's wife. It's just that Caca is embarrassed if they hug like that.

Nabila laughs. Presumably the woman who still looks very beautiful in her clothes who stepped on forty-three years was misunderstood by the words of her son.

“Name newlyweds night Sunday overtime,” Goda Nabila squint one eye.

Abhimanyu simply laughed without returning his mother's question. He glanced at Caca who looked unconcerned as well.

In his heart Caca wanted to refute the thoughts of his mother-in-law, only that he found it impossible to voice them. If until the woman knew of her relationship and Abhimanyu had not been there, she would definitely be counseled throughout this day.
