“Kakak, why is Brother silent? Smile like me. Look!” a little girl pulled both corners of her lips using her index finger. Showing her white teeth.
There was no response from the boy he had spoken to since. The little girl was upset, then ventured into a chair and sat next to a boy she did not know her name.
“Hey, Silent Brother. Smile! You definitely look more handsome if you smile.” The girl reached out her hand about to touch the boy's face. However, his hand was pushed slightly rough by the boy.
“This brother is so rude anyway!” grumbled the girl, annoyed.
“Mama, I don't want to be with that brother. He was evil, did not want to smile, he also hit my hand earlier,” the girl fought with pursed lips. His hands were crossed in front of his chest, showing his grief to his mother and a woman he had never seen before.
The two grown women laughed. The mother of the girl stroked her daughter's head gently. Removing the folds of his hands for him to hold.
“Kak Caca, can't be like that. Her brother is not evil. Her brother is still sick, so he is lazy. Maybe because his brother does not know Kak Caca, so the brother does not want to talk to Kak Caca.” The woman smiled gently at her daughter, rubbed the girl's arm and continued her sentence. “Try Kak Caca with acquaintances, maybe later the brother wants to talk to Kak Caca.”
The little girl sighed softly. He nodded his head, then approached the boy again and invited him to meet.
“Your daughter is very funny, Doc,” said the other woman.
The woman who works as a doctor chuckles at her daughter who is now back trying to get close to one of her patients. “He's like his father, Miss Nabila. Love being with new people and very cheerful.” He smiled at his daughter who was still very persistent approaching his little patient. “Hopefully with the presence of Caca, Abhimanyu can recover soon.”
Caca blinked her eyes as she felt her husband's big hand clutching her palm. His head turned slowly, staring in disbelief at Abhimanyu. She looked at the face of her husband who reminded her of someone from the past.
After hearing Abhimanyu introduce him to the grandmother, Caca did not yet know clearly the purpose of the young man's words. It's just that he's reminded of a little child of his mother's patient. A boy whom he calls handsome brother because he never wants to mention his name every time Caca asks.
“Did you forget about me? Like I forgot you too?”
Netra Caca. Hearing the question from her husband's lips, Caca became increasingly convinced that Abhimanyu was his best-selling older sister in the past.
“So, you–”
“Iya,” said Abhimanyu before Caca finished his sentence. “I'm your handsome brother, whom you used to play with at the hospital.” Abhimanyu's smile was painted thin. He still clasped Caca's hand despite his straight line of sight on the highway.
“Cute girls who like to dispute senior orders,” Caca said accompanied by laughter.
Abhimanyu laughed when what he wanted to say was guessed by his wife.
“Not right?” ask Caca to make sure. There was no angry look that emanated made Abhimanyu dare to nod his head.
“I didn't think we could be reunited.” Abhimanyu stared at Caca. Then, turn his car into the cafe owned by his father-in-law.
The two of them got out of the car together, entering Caca's room together as well. After closing and locking the door, Abhimanyu approached and hugged Caca who was still standing next to her work chair while playing a device.
“I miss Caca gorgeous,” whispered Abhimanyu right next to Caca's ear.
Caca swallowed his saliva with great difficulty. He remembered all that, as he confidently introduced his name to the beautiful Caca.
Like Abhimanyu who misses her, Caca also misses her handsome brother who is now her husband.
“Did you miss me too?” ask Abhimanyu lirih.
Caca was silent, not yet knowing what to respond to. Obviously he also missed the figure of the little boy he used to visit in the hospital before he and his whole family moved to Singapore.
Still holding Caca's body. Abhimanyu stared at the wall with a picture of his wife's childhood. He just found out Caca is the girl he had longed for so long, when he was required to marry Caca a few months ago. He just found out that Orange is the mother of a girl who has been like an enemy on the campus. It's just, it looks like Caca has forgotten about her. He thought, Caca could not remember, because they were very small at the time. He was eight years old, while Caca was six. The girl's memory may have been lost when they met again.
Caca turned his body to face Abhimanyu. He removed Abhimanyu's grip from his waist.
“You think I miss you too?” ask Caca sarcastically.
Silently, Abhimanyu's smile slightly receded hearing that slightly cynical tone from his wife. He was about to answer, but a blow to his chest made Abhimanyu clench his lips again.
“Kangen lah, time not kangen same handsome brother me!”
