One of the mainstays of tourism in Bangka Belitung is Lengkuas Island.

Lengkuas Island is one of the islands of various islands that surround Belitung Island. This small island with an area of less than one hectare is located to the north of Tanjung Kelayang Beach, Sijuk Subdistrict, Belitung Regency, Bangka Belitung Islands Province . The most interesting in Lengkuas Island is an old lighthouse that has been built by the Dutch colonial government in 1882. Although the age is very old but until now the lighthouse is still functioning well as a traffic sign of ships coming in and out of Belitung Island. The height of this lighthouse is approximately 50 meters. But for security reasons, the lighthouse has not received visitors to climb to the top, in addition to its old and fragile condition, visitor safety is also a reason.
