“Hmm?” Selena got out of her chair and approached Eros. “Whose flowers?”
The roses looked red and fresh, the aroma was also fragrant. Although actually Selena is not too fond of roses because of her troublesome thorns. But for Eros, what was troublesome to him was the meaning of the rose itself. Red roses symbolize love. And Orlando blatantly sent the flower to a married woman.
Before Selena managed to snatch the bouquet of roses, Eros quickly turned around and walked towards the trash can, ignoring the woman who was staring confusedly at her.
Selena widened her eyes when she saw Eros throw the rose into the trash and pat her hands after that.
“Not from anyone,” says Eros while glaring. The man climbed the stairs quietly and occasionally glanced at Selena who was standing near the trash can.
“Basic of the man, why should it be thrown away?“
Eros ears are sharp. The man clenched his feet upon hearing Selena—'s words made the woman turn towards him with a frowning forehead.
“She's on PMS, huh?” he said a little annoyed.

Tak.
Tak.
Tak.
The knocking of those high heels made anyone turn their head towards the source of the sound. The passers-by were fixated, enchanted by the friendly smile that was fixed on them.
“Who is he?”
“I've never seen that woman before.”
“Maybe business colleague Mr. Steve.”
Whispers rang out along the hallway to a very private room in the office.
“Hn. Have a nice holiday.”
The woman smiled as she peeked at the figure of Steve who was calling someone while reading a sheet of paper and occasionally crossed out the object with a pen.
He slowed his pace, sneaking around like a cat.
Steve disconnected his phone and did not realize the figure of the woman standing at the door. But when he accidentally raised his head, the man looked so shocked, that the pen he was holding fell to the floor.
“K-you..”.
The woman smiled broadly as she approached Steve with graceful steps. “Hai, Steve. Long time no see.”

Selena sighed softly. He was bored half to death. His eyes glanced at Eros who was sitting cross-legged in front of the fireplace.
They were on the second floor, sitting on a single white sofa with small flowers. When winter comes, the fireplace in the house will always be lit. And Selena just found out that Eros can relax like that with her fur slippers and a sleeping robe that has not been replaced.
In the middle of the sofa they occupied, there was a small round table filled with two almost cold cups of tea. While the medium-sized plate that was filled with pieces of cake now leaves only the fork and the remnants of chocolate cream. Of course Selena spends everything herself because Eros really does not like sweet foods.
“Truly boring...” Selena muttered softly as she glanced at the window. The snow was getting heavier and he suddenly remembered the lake behind the house.
Selena got up from the chair, causing Eros to turn her gaze from the business book she read to the beauty.
Selena looked at me for a moment. “To the balcony,” he said while glaring.
Eros eyebrows raised. “To the balcony? With clothes like that?”
There was no answer because Selena had already disappeared from his sight.
Eros sighed softly. He kept the book and got out of the chair to follow Selena.
The cold was immediately felt when the glass door was open—tarkan on Selena who stood on the edge of the balcony without looking shiver in the slightest. Eros is slowly racing. With a hasty step he stood behind Selena's body and touched both of her shoulders.
“You can get cold,” he said in a flat tone, but both his eyes showed concern.
Selena nodded quickly. Then the index finger leads to the surface of the lake that begins to freeze. “See that lake!” he said enthusiastically, his eyes sparkling with amazement. “Every winter you always see sights like this?” Selena looks up.
Eros lowered his head, briefly glued by both eyes that seemed to contain millions of stars in it. The man blinked slowly, then looked at the lake that had existed since he had not been born.
“Yes. Every year the lake will freeze.” Eros recalled, he would also stand on the balcony and stare at the lake whenever winter arrived. Sometimes he even stole the opportunity to try fishing in the lake without the knowledge of his father and mother.
Selena turned her attention back and said, “you make me envious.” His cheeks were blushing, half from the cold, half from the shame he had said just now.
“Why are you envious of such trivialities?” Eros clasped Selena's hands together, wrapping her lentic fingers into her large, warm fist.
Selena turned her body and looked at Eros with a shady look. “Because what you think is trivial is something that can sometimes make you smile.”
Eros looked at the woman in silence, then glanced at her hand that was grasping Selena's hand tightly.
The woman never refused his hand again.

“So you're finally back?”
Jasmine Williams's.
The woman had been present in his life, as well as in the scope of his friendship with Eros and Leo. The woman is a distant relative of Eros who suddenly decided to move abroad when they were so young.
In the past, the woman was a tomboy— figure unlike now—even Steve was not sure that the woman was wearing a dress behind her fur jacket and high heels.
Jasmine nodded softly as she sipped her warm chocolate for a while. “Actually it was two days ago,” he said answering Steve's question. “I heard a lot of bad news when I arrived here.”
Steve sighed softly, trying not to discuss some of the events that had made him almost hanged lately. The man chose to look for another topic. “You stay in hotel?”
“For a while,” Jasmine smiles thinly. “I plan to make a surprise for Eros.” His gaze was sad, reminded of the small Eros who had always been lonely. “She must be very sad because of the loss of Aunt and Alex.”
Steve's movements stopped when the man was about to sip his coffee. He looked up again, “dia already have ‘obat’ for his sadness,” he said meaningfully.
Jasmine frowned while tilting her head. “Hmm?”
Steve shrugged, then took a sip of his coffee and Jasmine waited for him with a patient look. Sighing softly, the man then said, "you said you'd give him a surprise? I bet you'll be surprised later." The man put down his cup.
Jasmine frowned. "I heard Emilia was married to Alex..."
Steve smiled a little. Apparently Jasmine was more sensitive than she thought. "Maybe it wasn't for Emilia..."
