Trapped With The Devil
Section 22

Emilia took a breath and threw it away repeatedly. He stared at the wooden door in front of him and occasionally squeezed the flowers and parcels he was holding.

As the door opened, Emilia quickly raised her head.

"Please come in, Madam." The servant bowed briefly before shifting his body.

Emilia nodded. He hesitated a little and stepped through the half-opened door. After her body entered perfectly into the room, the servant outside closed the door, leaving Emilia slightly bewildered in shock.

Emilia. He glanced at Eros who was sitting on his back against the window with his head and arms still bandaged.

"I'm here to represent Alex." Emilia keeps parcels and flowers on the nightstand. Then just stand there after, waiting for the owner of the room to respond.

Eros kept his tablet on a round table next to the chair he was sitting on. He still had to monitor his newly developing company, but he instead found some bad news while reading the news this morning. Now Eros understands why Leo contacted him repeatedly and his mother is acting strangely.

Not ignoring Emilia's whereabouts, Eros sighed softly, then turned his head slightly. "Oh, sit down" he said, rising from the chair and turning around.

Emilia walked a little awkwardly as Eros led her to two sofas located near the entrance. Of course he memorized every curve of this house because it was in this house that he met Alex for the first time and also...Eros. In this room also he and Eros—

"You why?" Eros sat across from Emilia's chair and crossed his legs. Realizing both eyes the woman observed every corner of her room. "With nostalgia?" his words without hesitation.

Emilia blinked. "No."

After that the atmosphere became more awkward. Eros simply fell silent as he threw his gaze out the window.

Silently Emilia bit her lips, her mouth opened to say something, "thank you."

"Hmm?"

"Because you saved me in the Maldives."

Eros was chin-backed, still maintaining his gaze on the sky so bright and blue. "Selena forced me. Don't be so confident."

Emilia smiled bitterly. Hearing Selena's name, he remembered something. "I should thank you anyway" he said, gulping. "Have you seen the news?"

"What?" asked Eros pretending not to understand.

"Selena and Leo, that rumor isn't true, is it?"

Everyone already knows. Means only Eros doesn't know this. Very good, everyone must be laughing at him right now. How shiny. He really looks like a poor man who was dumped by two women at once. Her mother's outrageousness, until stalking Selena and Leo everything. Then spread rumors to separate him from the woman.

Checkmate.

Emilia smiled blandly. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to interfere."

A waiter knocked on the door and entered afterwards with a tray filled with cups and a small teapot. There was not the slightest conversation when the maid poured tea into two ceramic cups of floral pattern.

Emilia focused her gaze on the still steaming hot tea, while Eros seemed to be swept away with her thoughts. As if I was thinking of something serious. And Emilia felt that Eros looked different from what she saw in the Maldives. The man still often attacked him with sharp words, but more able to control emotions and looks?

The waiter bowed after finishing pouring tea then withdrew without a sound.

Not knowing what else to say, Emilia grabbed a tea that only she could meet at William's residence. Looking for a diversion for a very stiff and awkward atmosphere.

He inhaled the aroma deeply, until then—"Huek!"

PYARS!

Eros. Fluid spilled on the floor seemed to hit the tip of his foot. He glanced at Emilia who was covering her mouth like people wanted to vomit.

"Ma—huek!"

Emilia's eyes glazed over, as she kept her mouth shut the woman ran to the bathroom that was inside the room.

Eros sculpting. He stared at the fragments of ceramics scattered on the floor. Is it Emilia..pregnant?

***

"Did Eros go to the office today?"

"It doesn't seem to."

Mrs William closed her magazine and sighed softly. "Eros is a little stubborn. Either way we have to separate Eros and the woman."

Mr. Arthur—mistress William—'s arm nodded slowly. "Okay, Madam."

"Don't let anyone know about this, including Alex." Mrs William's gaze turned to a large figura hanging over the fireplace—portrait of her smiling husband and embracing him affectionately. "Nobody should know that it was my husband who had run over Selena's father."
