"So..what's been going on all this time?" Sam sat next to the chair Selena was holding with two bottles of fizzy drink.

In the summer, the rain falls more often. Selena enjoyed every splash of water that occasionally blew in the wind and touched her skin. "I think you can guess what happened."

Sam opened his soda can and raised an eyebrow. "Am I a psychic?" The man gulped his sodas for a moment. "But that guy doesn't fuck around, does he?"

"What kind of assortment?"

Sam sighs. "Like—touch you."

Selena swerves. A second later, he turned back his face with blushing cheeks. Her mind floated on the scene where Eros kissed her forcibly and it was her first kiss.

"Hey." Sam shook his head in front of Selena's face. "You.impossible." The man shook his head slowly when he realized Selena's blushing face.

"It's not what you think it is" Selena argued quickly.

"What am I thinking?"

Selena wagging. "That's it, don't talk about it." He opened the can of soda and gulped it down to distract Sam who was still looking at him suspiciously. "Otherwise?" ask Selena sewot.

Sam turned his eyes the other way. "You still have feelings for her?"

Selena chokes. The orange-flavored soda seemed to spill a little on his clothes. "What do you mean?!"

Sam ogling. "You still love that guy, don't you? Every time I remember her treatment of you, I wonder why you still want to help her. Though let him mat—"

"Sam," cut Selena full of warnings. "I'm not like Eros."

Sam sighed. "Of course, I know that. I mean, it's not fair to you if you still care about it."

Selena fell silent. Choose not to answer and gulp his sodas back. He can't. I really can't take the pain away. But revenge is never allowed.

Eros sat leaning on the head of the bed staring at the rainwater drenching the window of his room. He was moved to the VVIP room.

A few minutes ago he was still asleep and woke up without anyone accompanying him there. But Eros knows that Alex is looking at her worriedly from behind a frosted window, with Emilia rubbing her shoulders repeatedly.

Alex will always have people who love him. His father, his mother, even Emilia. Who wouldn't be interested in Alex? Handsome, charismatic, intelligent, calm and mature. Maybe that's why Alex always gets what he never asked for. Because people would always look up to him without Alex needing to beg for their attention.

Eros sighed softly. He glanced at the nightstand next to the bed and intended to reach for the water in the glass. But his attention was instead diverted to a silver ring and his phone that lay—have been cracked in some parts.

Then Eros glanced at his own fingers, the ring still nicely embedded in his ring finger. She smiled bitterly, apparently Selena really proved her words. The woman left. Refuse to engage further with him.

But why would Selena still want to help him? Acting as if you hate but always acting like a hero?

Eros grabbed Selena's ring and stared at her every sculpture. It took years to annihilate it because it was made of the best and quality materials. True Selena said, why for a charade he got so exaggerated like that? He could buy a shopping mall with the ring.

Verily Selena also knew that Eros did not want to lose to her own sister—also Emilia.

But Eros was never that good, he would never let something he had grasped loose again. Not for the umpteenth time. Anyhow.

Leo rushes to Eros' office when he hears that the man was in an accident. Steve was in the Eros room with a few pieces of paper and a ballpoint pen.

"Do you know?!" he said as he approached the man.

Steve raised his head for a moment and returned to his papers. "Why do you think I'm sitting in his chair?"

"Why didn't you call me?"

"I know you're busy, Smith."

Leo sighed. "Well, get your work done and we'll go to the hospital after this."

The ink on the white paper stopped. Steve raised his head and looked at Leo.

"What?"

"You don't have to go to the hospital first."

Leo frowned. "Why?"

Steve grabs the tablet located at the end of the table and hands it to Leo. "What have you done with him?" ask her with a probing look.

Leo gnashed. "It's..."

BREAKING NEWS: EROS WILLIAM CAUSED THE ACCIDENT BECAUSE HIS FIANCEE HAD AN AFFAIR WITH LEORGE SMITH?

The title that uses capital letters was equipped with a photo of Leo with Selena some time ago.

"What is this?!" Leo laughed dryly.

Steve took his tablet back and sighed. "Your heroic actions this time even ended in disaster."

Leo's jaw is hardened. "Did Eros do it?"

"He won't embarrass himself for a second time after being dumped by Emilia who is married to Alex."

Leo smiled wryly. He could guess what Steve's gaze meant to him. "It's getting more troublesome, yeah."
