Ep. 8 Separated

"Campus me if caught by the guards." I murmured in my heart.

I turned my body back to see who it was and it turned out....

"Hufff..." I breathed a sigh of relief, it turned out that it was Leonard.

"Why do you look so relieved after seeing me? Like a thief who's afraid of getting caught." Leonard sarcas.

"That's because you suddenly came as a surprise to me, but it's true that I'm relieved that you're the one who came and not the guard." My answer.

When I was outside the palace I was so amazed by the crowd outside. There were many merchants on the side of the road and shops lined up there as well, there were even blacksmiths that I had only seen on television when I saw the ancient movies in my previous life.

"Did you never come out of the Baron's house at all?" Asked Leonard who was astonished by my reaction.

But fortunately in the original novel Louisse was only allowed out of his house when he went to the temple because he had not reached the age to debutante.

"Are you stupid?! Why stay here and don't you ask the security guards for help?!" He called out to scold me. But I consider it a form of concern for me.

"Aren't you aware that if anything happens to you the palace will become chaotic?!!" Leonard still keeps nagging me. Didn't he leave me here? Why even nag me? You strange prince!

"You must have come looking for me." Answer me innocently.

"What if I don't look for you and purposely leave you here?!" He said a little annoyed.

"That's because I believe that you wouldn't do it to me. I trust you, Leonard." My mouth with lips that keep smiling at her. And hearing my answer immediately Leonard was silent. Shortly after, he extended his hand to me.

"Let's go home now, we can't be here too late." He told me and I received his hand. We went home in silence with our hands still together. From there I was sure, Leonard's watchfulness of me loosened a little.
