Ep. 29 The Unsensitive Redian

This morning at the First Prince's palace, Leonard was currently examining some important documents and completing some work that he had to complete in his study. But a lot of work is messy because he is less focused on doing it and makes Jullian as his personal assistant feel worried about Leonard's situation. Right now in the eyes of Jullian the Prince looks like an egg that lives only in its shell, its body is in that place but its soul is somewhere else.

"It looks like the Prince's mood is getting worse after returning from the Sun's palace." Jullian Inner.

Jullian's conjecture is not entirely wrong but precisely Leonard's mind goes awry after he meets Louisse upon his return from the Sun palace. The shadows and words Louisse had spoken to her about the divorce back then still haunt her to this day. Until unconsciously the ink on the questioner came out everywhere because he was mostly daydreaming.

"Huhahh... It was already the tenth document that was damaged by ink." Inner Jullian who was tired of having written many times a new document every time Leonard damaged it.

"Sorry, Your Majesty, is there anything that bothers you?" Finally Jullian ventured to ask because he was tired of seeing Leonard who was not focused on his work.

"You want to hear a Jullian story? But this is not my story, this is the story of one of the soldiers who fought with us." Leonard told Jullian.

"After four years of war, when he came home, his wife suddenly discussed divorce. What exactly is the reason his wife asked for that?" Leonard's story with sad eyes.

"Aah! It's a story about himself." Jullian's inner being was instantly sensitized by Leonard's speech.

"Rumors about the divorce of His Highness the First Prince and His Royal Highness Princess Louisse have indeed become public consumption. And again about His Highness the Prince and lady Zacard who received an invitation to the palace of the Sun is also being discussed warmly among social circles. Of course this disturbs the Prince's heart." This is what Jullian had in mind.

"Bury the ring in the ground?" Ask Leonard who does not understand Redian's words.

"That's just a password we use among soldiers that means lovers who cheated on us when we went to war." With the symbol Redian explained what the meaning of the sentence was.

"Ah, there was something like that in the company of soldiers, if not Jacob's fault. He suddenly received a letter containing a divorce notice filed by his wife and he cried roaring like a madman. That's what it means to bury a ring in the ground." Redian continued stupidly without seeing the conditions and actually told about the experience of other soldiers on Leonard who was holding back his emotions.

"What?!" Leonard shouted while squeezing tightly the paper documents he had to sign until they were torn.

"Good damn this fool!! Why is he insensitive if this is His Majesty's own story?!" Jullian's wrath in the heart that has begun to fall apart if Leonard's anger explodes.

"Some say that a person's feelings are only temporary. Which woman doesn't cheat if she's been away for four years?" Redian was still blabbering when Jullian had given a signal for him to be silent. But this insensitive guy doesn't care about it and keeps babbling.

"Please stop if you still want to live!" Jullian said as he said kamit to signal silence to Redian.

"No way... They're still communicating with each other through letters and exchanging gifts." Leonard said while suppressing his emotions through his voice.

"It could have been that his wife had someone else do it and it might have been that time that his wife had an affair with another man." Replied Redian who increasingly provoked Leonard's emotions.

"But there's no sign that shows that his wife likes him..." Leonard stopped his sentence after remembering something at the victory party. He recalled when people talked about the relationship between Louisse and Oscar that they thought was unnatural.

Leonard clenched his hand that was on the table with a troubled mind.

"No... I can't be suspicious right away. Since childhood Louisse and Oscar relationship is already good, Louisse already consider Oscar like his own sister. Anyway I asked Oscar to look after Louisse for as long as I wasn't around and I was the one who knew best what Oscar was to me." Inner Leonard tried to think positively on both.

But not stopping there, Redian still continues to provoke Leonard's emotions and this is getting worse.

"Could possibly... Your Majesty is talking about your own wife? If so, wouldn't that be better because Her Highness the Princess who first wanted a divorce? Everyone says if His Royal Highness the Prince and Princess Louisse get divorced it will make it easier for you in succession." Reveal Redian without thinking if Leonard would be very angry.

"Redians..." Leonard's voice calling Redian's name sounded very pressing and threatening to make the aura around the room gripping. Maybe Jullian won't be able to do anything if Redian comes out of this room just a name.

"Yes, Your Majesty?" Replied Redian with a stiff expression.

"Get out!" Said Leonard with a flat but pressing tone of command.

"Sorry??" Ask Redian foolishly.

"I said get out now!!" Jerk Leonard who immediately made Redian rise from his seat.

"Bright..." Leonard let out a long sigh while leaning his back on the back of the chair.

While looking at Leonard who looked frustrated Jullian said...

"Sorry Your Majesty, may I say something?" Ask Jullian.

"Say..." Answer leonard.

"Although His Majesty has always said that Princess Louisse is on our side, I still can't fully believe it." Jullian.

"I know that." Leonard Sahut.

"But when I first met the Princess in person while delivering a letter at that time, there was one thing I was aware of... He is not a man who thinks of himself. Perhaps what Her Highness the Princess said was not her true intention." Leonard was immediately stunned to hear Jullian's words.

"What if you asked the matter directly to the Princess, why would she do that?" Jullian.

"really. After Louisse asked for a divorce suddenly I couldn't think of anything and just left without saying anything." Leonard's mind seemed to be conscious of his stupidity.

"Your Majesty... I hope you don't do something you might regret later." Jullian reminded.

Advice from Jullian just now instantly awakened the mind of Leonard who had been crazy. He also stood up directly from his seat.

"I'll check the rest of the documents later." Leonard said as he hurriedly walked out of his room.

"Your Majesty." Jullian smilingly looked at Leonard who disappeared from behind the door.

Leonard walked hurriedly through the corridors of his palace. He thought he should quickly meet Louisse and straighten out the problems between them. But at the same time he heard a voice greeting him.

"Where do you want to go in such a hurry?" Leonard stopped his steps and was surprised after turning around he found Louisse there.

"Louisse?!" The thrill when he saw the person he would meet just came to him first.

"Why are you in..."

"I'm bored, so come here to play." Louisse before Leonard asked.

"Main??" Ask Leonard.

"Yes, today's weather is very sunny, suitable for sightseeing out. Aren't you bored on a weekend like this just inside the palace? Exit yuk!!" Take Louisse with his spirit as if he had forgotten the quarrel between them.

"Where are you going?" Ask Leonard.

"We don't know yet, we'll just think about it later along the way." Louisse replied, holding Leonard's arm, asking him to come out of the palace with him.

"You want to, right?" Persuakknya while smiling brightly. A smile that could melt Leonard's heart.

"really. Her request to get divorced yesterday, wasn't her real wish." Smilingly looking at Louisse, in his heart he believed that.
