Ep. 34 Edmund Lombardi

Almost every day, whether it was inside or outside the palace Leonard always received death threats, especially after he returned to the palace. As of this moment, just now an arrow shot past him and stuck it into a tree while walking with Jullian in the courtyard area of his palace. It was fortunate that the arrow could swiftly be avoided by Leonard.

"Your Majesty! Are you okay?" Jullian asked with a surprised face when he saw the Prince he was serving was almost hit by an arrow.

"It's nothing to me." Leonard Sahut. In his heart Leonard thought hard about this incident he had always experienced....

"Since I came back more and more death threats have been sent to me. Maybe because His Majesty the Emperor is now starting to be interested in me and making those who from the beginning fight me so scared themselves because they feel their position could be threatened. "Jullian, send immediately the knight guards to Louisse's palace!" Leonard's orders.

"Good The Mu... What's?! Why go to the Princess's palace?" Jullian asked not understanding what Leonar was thinking, wasn't he the one who was threatened? but why is Louisse the one to look after?

"That's because I'm so worried about her." Leonard answered with his face flat.

"Why did you suddenly say that? Then how's the escort in your palace? You are in danger." Asked Jullian who still did not believe in Leonard's relaxed attitude when not once twice his life almost drifted.

"I'm strong, so it's not a problem for me." Leonard answered with his voice. And unfortunately what Leonard said was true, there was nothing he was afraid of because he was strong. That is what makes Jullian speechless and only able to be dumbfounded with the arrogant attitude of the Prince.

The next day at Louisse's palace, Leonard actually sent one of his knights to be Louisse's personal bodyguard.

"On the orders of Her Highness the First Prince, from this moment on I will be the personal bodyguard of Her Highness the Princess in charge of guarding the safety of Her Highness the Princess."

Hearing what the knight said Louisse was immediately shocked.

"My name is Edmund, one of the members of the knight's army who is under the direct leadership of His First Highness." The man named Edmund introduced himself.

Louisse's millionth was not because there was a knight who suddenly came to be his personal bodyguard because Leonard had told him before. Louisse was surprised that the knight Leonard had sent for him was very young. And the plus point is that she looks so cute with her handsome face.

"Yes my... She turned out to look like a malikat with her plain looking face. Why didn't I notice her time at the victory party? Maybe I was busy at the time." Inner Louisse who thrashed so pleased.

"Louisse!!" The screams of a man were heard calling out to him rudely right after the door of his room opened.

"Yes my... That voice again." Inner Louisse who seemed to know whose voice it was.

"What's this brother doing here?"

"Why didn't you return my letter?! And it even requires me to come alone to see you!" He shouted while angry.

"I never told you to come. Anyway I'm not interested in replying to the letter because it's just nonsense." Inner Louisse was upset.

"From the beginning I said I couldn't do that. So please don't discuss the matter anymore and please don't come without notice anymore." Louisse very firmly.

"Basic is disrespectful!! Hearing the answer Eric was furious and was about to slap Louisse but Edmund swiftly stopped him and put his body up to protect Louisse.

"Stop!" Edmund shouted while blocking Eric.

"Who dare you stop me?!" Eric asked in anger.

"I'm just on duty here." Answer Edmund.

"He's my personal bodyguard." Louisse's Law.

"What?! The little boy is arrogant! Move there!"

Plaque!!!

An angry Eric tries to get Edmund to step aside from him by insulting and slapping Edmund. But it was precisely Eric's action that was a mistake that might be regretted.

"Basic this stupid cunt!!" Shouted Louisse in the heart.

Elsewhere in Leonard's study, Jullian looks worried about something...

"Oh yeah... If not wrong from today Ed served as the Princess's bodyguard right?" Ask Rodrigo on the sidelines they work with a pile of documents.

"Bright... Aye." Yeah." Jullian replied with an anxious sigh.

"What are you worried about? Ed has good skills." Ask Rodrigo again.

"I don't doubt his abilities, it's just that he'll turn crazy if he's upset." Answer Jullian.

And that Jullian concern is already happening at Louisse's current palace. Exasperated and enraged by Eric's words and treatment, Edmund's insane side now appears. It didn't take long for Eric to fall before Edmund with a sword pointing at his neck.

"Yeah... Ja, don't kill him!!" Louisse was scared.

"I consider this rude person to be someone who could harm Her Majesty the Princess I now protect." Edmund said with a pressing flat voice as well as a terrifying sharp gaze.

Louisse forgot one thing for being lured by his handsome face. In the original story Leonard has his loyal subordinates who are war strategists who are able to destroy an enemy unit alone. Beautiful killing machine, that's what it's about. It was Edmund Lombardi.

"God!! What the hell was Leonard thinking about sending his killing machine just to be my personal bodyguard? Isn't this overkill?" Louisse grumbled at heart when recalling the original data from Edmund in his novel story.
