Throne For Princes In Novels
Ep. 4 Approaching the Queen

"Come on Princess Louisse." The Queen's orders upon knowing my arrival.

"Please call me Louisse Her Majesty the Queen." My love with respect.

Yes, in front of me is now sitting a beautiful woman with beautiful blonde hair wavy like the sun with bright blue eyeballs looks graceful and charming at a age that is no longer young. She is the Queen of Media Rose de Eliador. The main antagonist in the original novel. And he's the first one here that I have to watch out for.

"Sit down." The Queen's orders, and I obey her.

"Thank you Your Majesty." I answered while sitting before him who had a cup of tea provided by Queen Media's personal servant. It just so happened that I came while he was enjoying his morning tea.

"I heard that all night you were sick from being too tired, are you feeling better now?" Ask me in such a calm tone that I don't know what she's thinking right now.

"Actually I still feel dizzy, but I can not miss the morning greetings that have become a tradition. Shouldn't the traditions within the Imperial family be respected? That's in my opinion Your Majesty." My answer is to be seen as polite as possible in the presence of this evil Queen.

"Although still young it turns out you understand manners as well huh... Your attitude is commendable." He said with a faint smile looking at me.

"I heard there was a problem caused by the maid in the Prince's palace. You don't have to think too much about it, let me punish them later."

I was a little surprised but I expected him if he knew my purpose in coming to see him.

"I don't expect Her Majesty the Queen to have heard of this, but... If I may know about what punishment His Majesty will give them?" My toot. I wondered what answer the Queen would give even though I had expected what she would do to the servants of the Prince's palace.

"I'm still thinking about it... Maybe cutting their pay for a few months is enough." He answered casually as if it were not important.

I waited for him to speak again.

"They're young and still a little careless, so please understand..." Said later.

Ahah! I had expected it from the beginning if the Media would not punish them properly because the servants in Prince Leonard's palace were all Medians. They're the Queen's spies. Basic sneaky!!

Looking at me who was just silent, Queen Media frowned and opened her voice again...

"Do you think their punishment is lacking?" Ask me.

Uhh!! This is the one I'm waiting for!

"His Majesty the Queen... Am I not more useful to you than the servants who can only provide information through the First Prince's daily schedule. I can give you more useful information, Your Majesty." I said to be profiling the evil Queen.

He smiled when he heard my words.

"Good information you say? For example?" He seemed to underestimate me.

"You must have known that Prince Leonard often truant on some of his schedules." My word.

"Of course I know, I've thought that the lowly child is very lazy and selfless." Said Queen Media with her insults to Leonard.

The media must be thinking why did I, who had not been in the palace for so long, know this? Of course the answer is definitely because I've read the original story in this novel.

"Then do you know what the First Prince did when he skipped?" I asked as if I was giving her a guess.

"Of course, he must be hiding somewhere and waiting until his teacher leaves. It was unbelievable if such a child was the First Prince in this Empire. How pathetic!" Said the Queen with words that still insult Leonard. It is clear that Queen Media hates Leonard.

"His Majesty the Queen is wrong." I said firmly.

"What?!" The queen was surprised I had broken her conjecture.

"During the truancy of Prince Leonard out of the palace." I said an answer that made him even more surprised.

As I know in the novel, Queen Media also interfered in the educational affairs of the Imperial family of Prince Leonard. And most of the teachers assigned to educate Prince Leonard are accomplices of the Queen who did not teach the Prince well and tend to be careless. There is a part of the novel that I remember very well, the part where Prince Leonard is very saturated with his lessons....

At that time in the story Prince Leonard was practicing swords with his teacher, but because the lessons given were an unimportant part and that's it Leonard finally chose to run away.

"It's boring!!" Leonard cried in his heart with annoyance and he finally escaped from his lessons.

"The First Prince is running away again!!" Shouted his teacher and asked his whereabouts to the servants and palace guards.

"She must be hiding again." Continue the sword art teacher by massaging his forehead temples.

"He's a pathetic Prince!" Teach the teacher by pressing his teeth.

Meanwhile the prince hiding behind the wall heard everything they were talking about, including the humiliation. But for Leonard it was common and chose to ignore it. Then he went to the side of the prince's palace at the back and climbed the palace walls through a tree branch attached to the palace walls. Outside the wall, there was already someone waiting for Leonard.

"Woi! Bad prince, today you are late." A man was waiting for her from earlier.

"Lately the guard at the Prince's palace has been tightened further, but that doesn't matter to me." Answer with flat.

"That much guard is nothing to me because I can get away with it easily." Leonard continued with a bit of bragging.

"Of course I believe that." The man's law.

"Let's go, the kids must have waited a long time." Leonard said with a smile on his lips.

Yeah, that's about a piece of that novel I remember. And one more fact that Queen Media never knew. Leonard who secretly went out of the palace in his study turned out to be friends with the mercenaries who would later become his troops in the future. It was from them that Leonard learned the art of swordsmanship well and unbeknownst to Queen Media, Leonard grew up to become a swordsman in the Empire. Based on the story of the original novel, the Queen's decision to send Leonard to the battlefield actually became a boomerang for the Queen because it actually gave Leonard the opportunity to show his abilities. And finally made Leonard a hero of war that is very meritorious for the Eliador Empire.

What if I use this story a little?

"The First Prince came out of the palace for what?" Asked Queen Media who seemed to be holding back her emotions.

"The prince learned the sword art from the mercenary, it means that if the Prince does not trust the teacher that His Majesty has chosen for him right?" I answered by trying to keep the Queen Media.

Hm... Nice one!! The media's face was getting shocked.

"Well... Nevertheless he would never be able to learn much from low-level mercenaries right?" I continue to advocate for the Queen.

"You mean you know things that even the Prince's palace attendants don't know?" Ask the Queen who began to provoke me.

Stupidhead! Of course I know because I've read the novel. Haha... But unfortunately I can't tell you everything.

"I persuaded him a bit and he told me everything. However, Prince Leonard is only a child who is the same age as me..." Answer me with confidence.

"Where could a child who had such suspicions?" The Queen of less trust.

Holy hooch! I forget that Leonard who always gets evil treatment from the Media makes himself have a nature that is not easy to believe in others.

"That's... Maybe because soon the Prince is entering puberty so he's more lenient because I'm his wife." My answer.

Does the media believe my answer?

"His Majesty the Queen... I will be a loyal eye and ear to you. I'm sure I can persuade the Prince who is entering puberty and you can throw me away whenever you want if I'm no longer useful to His Majesty." I told him to convince him.

"Pffts.. Haha... You are more confident than I thought. Then what reward do you want from me?" Ask me with a sharp look.

"I want to live a luxurious life, I don't want to be a puppet that will later be cast out with the First Prince and I don't want to be underestimated by the palace servants either. Therefore I choose the right side by Her Majesty the Queen." I replied firmly to convince the Queen.

"Pffts.. Haha..."

Why did he suddenly laugh again? Is something wrong?

"You really look like me when I was younger." The Queen said with a smile.

Ahah!! Right enough. Media born in an ordinary noble family always wants to live a luxurious life compared to anyone. Thus she became the wife of the Emperor and gave birth to a Prince.

"I like you Louisse, let's give it a try." Queen's Speech.

"Thank you Your Majesty." My answer is relief.

"Then... What punishment do you want for the servants?" Ask the Queen to me, and of course this makes me happy.

"I beg you to drive those servants out of the palace." Answer me with pleasure.

Seriate...
